Sprout is far ahead of its competitors!
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social is your one-stop shop when it comes to all things social media. The first thing I noticed about Sprout was that its publishing page had many features that set it apart from other social media management platforms. The ability to customize captions per platform, schedule the same item at different times based on the platform, automate an Instagram first comment, tag, and collaborate with other users, all within Sprout, has made social media publishing easy and efficient. Next, their analytics generation is insightful, thorough, and reliable. Whenever I am looking for more information or I have a question regarding certain metrics, the Sprout customer support is fast and helpful. I use Sprout every day for social media publishing, and it's great to have a platform that is reliable, efficient, and insightful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, I have a very positive experience with Sprout. The user experience makes sense and is intuitive. The only elements I "dislike" are missing features and items that Sprout can integrate to make it an even stronger platform compared to its competitors. First, Sprout should have a comment to DM automation available within its publisher. I currently use linktree for that type of automation, but since there is already a Sprout link in bio feature, expanding that to include a comment to DM automation for Instagram would be a game-changer. Next, I cannot schedule a thread to X, meaning that whenever I develop a thread, I have to do it in-app and post it manually every time. This can be a feature Sprout adds. Finally, Sprout currently does not offer an analytics report for live comments and interactions on live videos. Adding this would enhance the analytics reporting experience for Sprout Users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social is helping me draft and schedule posts in an efficient manner. It helps me avoid manually replicating the same task multiple times, and it has made social media scheduling and publishing easy. This is benefiting me because I can automate processes and avoid unnecessary manual posting. Sprout allows the social media publishing experience to be efficient, enabling me to direct my time more into content creation than the posting and analytics process.

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social makes managing multiple accounts seamless. The scheduling, reporting, and engagement tools save a ton of time, and the platform is very user-friendly. I especially like the detailed analytics and the ability to collaborate across teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t love the Smart Inbox. It’s helpful for monitoring, but I wish it had more capabilities — like the ability to reshare posts directly or manage content in a more dynamic way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social helps streamline managing multiple social accounts by putting scheduling, publishing, and reporting in one place. Instead of jumping between platforms, I can plan content, track performance, and engage with the community more efficiently. This saves me time and makes it easier to keep everything consistent and organized.

It’s easy to use and it saves me a ton of time with post scheduling.

I wish it was easier for team members to see a calendar or view plans without needing their own individual seat.

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout is great for organizing our social content and generating it quickly and efficiently. Works very well for my job

The site crashes more frequently than expected and has minor glitches that pop up.

It improves our ability to manage our social media workflow, which we need to produce for our clients.
Great for what I need!
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout has been great when it comes to tracking all our different platforms, whenever I have any questions their CS team is always quick to help. I use it every day to help with community management and on a monthly basis for scheduling posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like any software, there tends to be bugs every once in a while. But they are usually pretty quick to fix them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking metrics and being able to attend to community management when needed.

We have to do monthly reporting and Sprout makes it so easy. Toggling between our Australia and NZ pages is also super easy.

I like the ability to send posts for approval and be able to see the most optimal time to send.
What do you dislike about the product?
The export feature is not great when needing to display creative.

Sprout has solved our issue of the manual process of posting directly to native channels. You can see an bird's eye view of everything happening on your social channels in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social has been a game-changer for our team. Beyond the intuitive publishing tools, the premium analytics suite has become essential, especially since our team is deeply invested in reporting. We love the customizable KPI widgets, which allow us to tailor each report to the unique goals of every campaign. Customer support has been outstanding from day one. Our dedicated rep consistently goes above and beyond to align Sprout’s capabilities with our business objectives, even creating tailored reports that help us adapt and improve our strategy. As a team of one managing social at my company, Sprout has made me feel like I have a full support system behind me. Their responsiveness and proactive guidance have been invaluable as our social program continues to grow and evolve.

While Sprout Social offers many strengths, there are a couple of areas where it could improve:
Limited Search Functionality in the Content Calendar:
The Publishing section’s content calendar doesn’t allow for keyword searches of scheduled or published posts. If I need to locate a specific past post, I have to manually scroll through the calendar, which is time-consuming. A search feature would be a major time-saver and enhance usability.
Lack of Platform-Specific Customization for Multi-Channel Publishing:
When publishing to multiple platforms (e.g., X and LinkedIn), there’s no option to customize captions per channel within the same workflow. For instance, X has strict character limits, while LinkedIn allows longer copy. Sprout recently began allowing us to schedule documents for LinkedIn posts, so that has been a huge help!
Sprout Social is extremely comprehensive
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Sprout Social is organized. It’s easy to use and everything is labeled clearly. It’s also easy to personalize different tabs and menus to your liking.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t necessarily dislike anything about Sprout Social. I’m not a fan of the tags you have to add to every post.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout allows us to cross post to multiple accounts and reschedule posts. It’s extremely helpful to use sprout rather than the Meta Business suite.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Sprout Social is that they seem to have thought of everything. From scheduling, to reporting, to social listening and competitor analysis, Sprout is a one-stop shop for all things social media.
What do you dislike about the product?
What is least helpful about Sprout Social is that sometimes the user interface can be less than intuitive. Especially with tools like social listening, which can get pretty in the weeds, sometimes it feels like I'm not utilizing it as much as I could be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are getting more accurate data as opposed to manually calculating things like engagement rate, and an added bonus is that all the metrics you might want are all within Sprout. It makes the data recording process more streamlined as well.
