Sprout is a game changer... REALLY!

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social does an excellent job of delivering on the core functions you’d expect from a social media management platform—scheduling posts, tracking analytics, viewing competitor performance, and planning content. I personally use Sprout at least three times a week, and my colleagues are in the platform posting a minimum of five times weekly, so it’s a tool we rely on constantly. We also use it for weekly reviews of our own performance alongside competitor activity, which helps us plan strategically.

Implementation was straightforward, and our team was able to get up and running quickly without much of a learning curve. Integrations with the major platforms we use (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) were smooth, which made adoption easy across our team.

While no platform is perfect, Sprout consistently improves through regular updates, and it excels in the areas that matter most for managing and growing a social presence. On top of that, my company has a dedicated Sprout rep who meets with us monthly and is always kind, responsive, and helpful, which makes the experience even better.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only drawbacks with Sprout are relatively minor. For example, you can only drag and drop one image at a time into the scheduler, and Instagram posts with trending audio still have to be published natively (though Sprout makes this easier by sending a push notification and assets at posting time). Uploads also require images to be converted from HEIC to JPG, and some engagement metrics need workarounds—such as being able to see competitors’ total engagements but not their engagement rates. Overall, though, these are so minor that they don’t deter me from using Sprout or negatively affect my overall experience with the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social helps us streamline social media management by bringing everything into one platform. Instead of juggling different apps for scheduling, analytics, and competitor research, we can do it all in Sprout. This saves us time, ensures consistency in our posting, and gives us a clear view of what’s working and what’s not. The ability to track our own engagement alongside competitor performance has been especially valuable for shaping strategy and improving our content week to week. It also helps with team collaboration since multiple colleagues can schedule and review posts without overlap. Overall, Sprout gives us efficiency, clarity, and confidence in how we manage our social media presence.

Endless Options

What do you like best about the product?
What I love the most is the analytics! As a social media manager, aside from creating content, you have to know how it's performing and how the audience is responding to it. I appreciate the way I am able to pull data for each one of the brands I work for by platform and analyze it. I love how easy it is to post to multiple platforms in one place, it allows me to schedule content weeks in advance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say the site's inability to post the first comment on Facebook is a feature that would make it easier for me to manage all posts on one platform instead of using Sprout for every other platform and jumping into Meta Business Suite to post there. Without this feature, it adds another step to posting, making it harder, not easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media analytics, social customer service and listening and above all else social media management. I do think I am not using Sprout to its fullest potential and look forward to seeing what else it can do and how else it can help me in my role as a Social media manager

Making Community Management Easier

What do you like best about the product?
I love how organized Sprout Social is. It is simple to navigate between the Smart Inbox to the calendar for Publishing, as well as many other features. It streamlines the customer support process, as I can easily respond to any DMs or questions directly from Sprout rather than going into each app natively. It makes that process quicker and more effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that there is only a certain number of "seats" or number of people who are allowed to be on an account at the same time. It has made it difficult, as several of my coworkers and I get on Sprout, sometimes simultaneously, and it logs each other out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Taking all DMs, comments, questions, etc. from every channel that we use and putting it in one place. It is beyond helpful. It is also our social media posting tool, and I like how you can save posts as drafts, schedule them, edit them, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Sprout's content calendar scheduling tool and community management features within the Smart Inbox. Sprout makes it simple to collaborate with my team and understand our brands' communities.
What do you dislike about the product?
When certain social platforms make updates to their posting capabilities, it's not quickly translated over to Sprout. For example, we post a lot of Pinterest carousels and videos for our clients as well as multimedia carousels on Instagram, but we're currently unable to schedule these types of posts through Sprout. Recently, it was very helpful when Sprout enabled scheduling for LinkedIn PDFs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social helps me and my team easily update content calendars when the social landscape requires us to shift our schedule quickly. Sprout also makes it simple to share reports with our clients and identify areas of improvement. Sprout's community management features directly influence our content calendars and help us be present with our audiences that range in size.

So much more than a scheduling platform! Sprout unlocked incredible insights for our social strategy

What do you like best about the product?
I love Sprout's recommended posting times, which help simplify post-scheduling and provided easy justification to management for our planning. Sprout's dashboard is easily exportable and sets a strong foundation for sharing insights in our audience engagement. There are so many analytics features available in Sprout that go above and beyond social organization and make a real strategy value-add. It is also easy to add team members to the permissions boards, facilitating collaboration and onboarding.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because of the number of features available, there can be a learning curve to the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout functioned as a key analytics platform for managing our social media. Since we were present across multiple platforms, Sprout helped us understand the big picture in our audience engagement. Since we were running these accounts to market a product, Sprout also helped us identify negative or neutral social comments, and allowed us to respond to users in a timely and friendly way to manage overall page sentiment.

We transitioned from MuckRack to Sprout a few months ago, and Sprout has been infinitely better.

What do you like best about the product?
The content calendar makes it easy to organize all of our accounts. I'm currently worked on going back and tagging posts that we had before our switch to Sprout, and you all made it easy to do so.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I'm scheduling a post, I wish Sprout didn't save the previous account as the account that I want to post to. For instance, if Donny posted 12 minutes ago for Santa Rosa, When I get on there to post to Cabrini, I need to change it off of Santa Rosa. Tedious I know, but that is the downside.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The management of over 20 different accounts across four different platforms.

Streamlining the Digital Marketing Process

  • September 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most is having everything consolidated in one place. As a digital marketer, I usually have to juggle multiple screens for various projects, but with everything organized within Sprout, managing the social media aspect of my job becomes much easier to handle. It really helps eliminate the chaos!
What do you dislike about the product?
One of my main challenges in the past was having to repeatedly edit the same post for different platforms. I prefer to adjust the wording of my posts to better connect with the specific audiences on each platform. For instance, I might use a more casual tone for Instagram, a slightly more formal approach for Facebook where our audience tends to be older, and a professional style for LinkedIn. Fortunately, this feature has now been added, and I really appreciate it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I started in my role, our team relied on a third-party program to organize our social calendar. Using that tool alongside Sprout led to some friction, making the planning process cumbersome and causing us to occasionally miss posting days. Eventually, I decided to switch from the third-party program to Sprout's Calendar feature. This change made it much easier for me to visualize our social calendar and streamlined the transition from planning to scheduling and posting.

All around great tool for social media pros

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
the fact that it is a trust-worthy all-in one platform that allows me to save time for myself and my clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've run into a few minor bugs that my colleagues haven't experienced, such as issues with scheduling posts on specific platforms when certain required fields are involved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to schedule posts across multiple platforms simultaneously and manage them all within a unified calendar, which also allows for editing and scheduling, has greatly streamlined my workflow. The fact that this calendar can be shared with both my team and clients makes the processes of reporting and obtaining approvals much more efficient.

Sprout reporting is good

  • September 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The straightforward reporting features are extremely useful, and the charts make it easy to visualize results clearly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is very hard to get paid vs organic results, for a channel/account. It would be best to see paid, organic and a total very clearly in the profile reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it allows us to schedule posts that's awesome.
