  • September 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social’s intuitive dashboard makes it easy to manage multiple platforms in one place. As a business, we use different accounts across multiple social media channels and the scheduling tools are reliable and save a lot of time, while the analytics provide clear insights that help shape strategy and demonstrate ROI. It’s a well-rounded platform that brings structure and efficiency to social media management.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Sprout Social is packed with great features, the pricing can be a bit steep for smaller teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As the solo digital marketer on our marketing team and responsible for all things social media marketing, Sprout Social helps streamline the entire social media management process by bringing publishing, engagement, and reporting into one centralized platform instead of having to switch between multiple tools or logging in to each social network individually. Everything can be planned, scheduled, monitored, and analyzed from one place. This saves a significant amount of time and ensures that messaging stays consistent across channels. The detailed analytics also make it easier to measure performance and refine strategy, ultimately leading to smarter, more impactful campaigns.

Even with the downsides, Sprout Social keeps my workflow organized and gives me valuable data.

What do you like best about the product?
Honestly what I like most is about about Sprout Social it saves me a lot of time and helps me stay on top of messages and mentions without missing anything. I can plan out weeks ahead and clearly see what’s going live. The reporting features are solid too; I rely on them to show my manager how our posts are performing and where we’re improving. I’d say implementation was fairly smooth. It did take some initial setup time, but the basics (like connecting accounts and scheduling posts) were straightforward. Support has been responsive, for small issues, I usually get a decent turnaround. I use Sprout Social daily — mainly for scheduling, inbox management, and analytics. It’s central to my workflow. It integrates well with the main platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter). I do wish integrations with other tools (like CRM or email marketing software) were more seamless, but for social media itself, it works reliably.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest complaint is that the tool can be slow at times. Switching between accounts or loading analytics reports sometimes takes longer than I’d like, which can be frustrating when I’m trying to work quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social solves the problem of managing multiple social media accounts in one place. Before using it, I was constantly jumping between apps and missing messages — now the Smart Inbox helps me stay on top of everything without letting comments or DMs slip through. It also tackles the challenge of planning and consistency. With the publishing calendar, I can schedule posts weeks in advance, which means our content goes out on time even when I’m busy with other tasks. Finally, it helps with team collaboration. Instead of emailing back and forth or losing track of who’s handling what, we can assign tasks, manage approvals, and keep everything organized directly in the tool. Overall, Sprout Social benefits me by saving time, keeping me organized, and making it easier to demonstrate the impact of our social media efforts.

Sprout Social - My experience

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like ease of use. Easily navigable. I also like the ability to export all post level metrics for further analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to be able to build customized reports from the reporting section. With some tools I've used in the past, you have greater flexibility in pulling modules in to build a highly customized and report. For example, pulling the top # of posts for a channel sorted by engagement rate, with a text box where we can provide more context as to these may be performing well. Instead, Sprout feels slightly limited in that we only get the pdf and csv exports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout solves much of our needs in management of social media posting workflow. It excels in tracking of competitor posting for analysis and reporting.
Consolidates our comment inboxes to support the streamlining of our community management.

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social has been a reliable platform for managing social media accounts for a variety of clients. I especially value the scheduling and reporting features, which make it easy to keep content organized and track performance across multiple accounts. The interface is intuitive and saves me time, allowing me to focus more on strategy and creativity.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is a minor issue, but as an independent contractor I wish I was able to keep track of my performance across accounts instead of going to each client profile specifically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social mainly solves the problem of managing multiple social accounts efficiently in one place. Instead of logging into each platform separately, I can schedule, publish and track performance all from one dashboard. This saves me a lot of time and keeps me organized.

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social is straightforward to use, packed with features, and offers brands the insights they need to make informed decisions about their social strategies. The platform helps you gain a clearer understanding of how customers engage with your brand, whether those interactions are direct or indirect. With Sprout, you can plan and efficiently manage posts and campaigns all from a single, centralized location. I found it easy to integrate into our company's workflow and haven't looked back since.

Initial setup is simple. Connect your brand's social accounts and integrations, and you're all set. I use Sprout daily for monitoring and social messaging across multiple social networks. The Sprout Social team is proactive when it comes to outreach and making sure you understand all the resources available to you. I highly recommend connecting with a rep to make sure you're making the most of your subscription.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout Social offers a wide range of features, which can make it feel overwhelming at first if you don't take the time to consult their support resources or team to better understand how to use the tool. Personally, I'm not very fond of the Sprout Social mobile app. I found it challenging to navigate and much prefer using the web app instead.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social makes social listening and management simple. We can easily schedule posts and campaigns, and monitor everything post-launch. We get pretty quick feedback from our audience, and Sprout allows us to review it all in one place, which is great.

Sprout Social Keeps My Social Media Organized and Measurable

  • September 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
To avoid needless switching, I rely on Sprout Social on a daily basis, which helps me consolidate social accounts. I am particularly fond of the publishing calendar. I also really appreciate the automated reports, as I am able to pull the data that the leadership team finds useful without spending a lot of time on needless spreadsheets. Being able to see both the engagement and analytics on the same dashboard really streamlines my workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial stages of the project were especially unusual modifying reports the way I did. Sometimes the mobile app is fine for quick checks, but I much prefer the desktop version for detailed analytics or scheduling. Features that can improve the overall user experience seem to be lacking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem of having too many logins, together with the scattered data, and unanswered messages is no more with me. Everything: content, metrics, and replies, is visible at the same time. I can now publish and respond a lot faster. My strategy backed by relevant data as opposed to mere guesswork,It's easier alongside data-driven results for leadership, and that’s relieved a lot of pressure at work for me too.

What do you like best about the product?
Tagging has made our reporting stronger. We leverage Advocacy a lot.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some things you just have to try and learn on your own, especially in a niche B2B space. It's not a one size fits all.

Making out sales team more comfortable with posting online.

Clear, Functional, Essential

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Sprout has all of my inboxes in the same place! Managing multiple accounts across platforms, its so much easier to consistently check Sprout rather than each individual account all day long. Sprout is constantly evolving and adding features, new platforms, etc. I feel like they're aways ahead of the curve!
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like Sprout's analytics are always different than what I'm seeing in the native platform which causes a little discrepancy in our reporting numbers. I also don't understand how/why but it's always given me problems copying and deleting characters when they're highlighted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My problem is the number of accounts so I love that they bring them all together into one inbox.

A great solution for a small marketing team

What do you like best about the product?
Switching over from Hootsuite, Sprout Social was an easy transition and quick for us to get up and running. We use Sprout daily as our social media scheduler and for reports/analytics, so it makes it easy to have all of our accounts in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
While there are a few settings/features that are beyond our budget in an enterprise plan, we're still able to operate effectively with what we have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With a small marketing team, Sprout Social takes on the tasks of listening, reporting and scheduling to free up our time to work on other tasks.
