Jamf Connect Makes It Easy
What do you like best about the product?
What's best about Jamf Connect is it's simple way to make sure that it syncs Mac passwords.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is the thing I hate the most. I wish it came bundled with Jamf Pro and not have to pay for a separate license.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me with user privilege escalation, password sync.

What do you like best about the product?
The way we can quickly create accounts on our shared devices is a hell of a win. Makes our lives easier!!!
What do you dislike about the product?
It's no a available on Windows. It would streamline our deployment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Account provisioning on shared devices.

We integrate it with IDP okta and it works seamlessly

It can't sync password resets locally on multiple computers seamlessly. You must locally sync the password manually per computer

What do you like best about the product?
Keeping passwords in sync with an idp. It has reduced our passwords tickets on the Mac by 95%.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't find any downsides to the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Password desync with bound mobile accounts. We have been able to stop binding with AD and give a far better experience to our users and reduce IT touch.
It makes managing login credentials much easier for end users.
What do you like best about the product?
Its integration with Azure. Users being able to login with their normal account information seems to make things enjoyable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently I have not ran into any particular issues or anything that I do not like.

Ensuring that every user is using provisioned credentials that require SSO.
Jamf Protect — A Game Changer
What do you like best about the product?
The tools have significantly improved our Mac environment's security and usability, and we highly recommend them to any organization looking for top-tier Apple management and protection solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at all to dislike about Jamf Connect
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None at all
Quick set up and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that it can use Sso to create new admin users and FileVault the machine at in one swoop is chefs kiss
What do you dislike about the product?
Downside is Jamf connect uses OKTa admin rules when you sign in a secondary time and in our case it will promote all users to standard users revoking their admin rights. Because our users wil not be okta admins.

Not binding machines to the domain and user creation
JAMF Connect modernizing endpoints
What do you like best about the product?
JAMF helped us modernize our endpoints by allowing us to move away from AD bound devices to cloud only. This was pivitol to ensure user passwords were synchronized and clients could still escalate privileges.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike but if I had to request anything was greater customization and options around user passwords expiration

Synchronized passwords and privileged escalation.
How JAMF changed the game
What do you like best about the product?
One of the biggest benefits we gained from JAMF Connect was streamlining the onboarding experience for our users. It allowed us to connect our IDP with a frontend app to validate employee credentials easily. Combined with custom branding, this created a positive experience for both new and existing employees.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the features I dislike is the system we use for IDP is okta in which the creds in that system our employees are not admins.
So once an employee logs into their systems as and admin and if JAMF connect syncs it would change their account to a local user.

The ability to onboard employees with their newly assigned creds and being able to use these setup in okta to pass through for system log usage.

Nothing, everything is great. It's like sccm for Mac

Keeping Mac's updated along with device provisioning
