What do you like best about the product?
what I like most about Jamf Connect is the ability to connecess seamlessly and securely and being able to set certain policies in place so it makes the user experience one of a kind!
What do you dislike about the product?
honestly, i couldn't find anything that I dislike about Jamf Connect ....if I had to put something, I wish it was free but whats the fun in that (we all have to make money some how)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly solving user provisioning situations to make the process very seamless and effortless and will benefit myself and our team to prioritize other mission critical items on our focus maps

What do you like best about the product?
I like not being bound to AD anymore and that Jamf Connect takes over the macOS Login Window with the ability to authenticate directly with several IDP's - we are using MS Azure.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish the GUI had more visual options like the built-in macOS Login Window - for example, battery life, IP address, macOS version, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to be bound to AD and could only enroll and have users login when on our network. Now with Jamf Connect, we are able to login and user provision anywhere in the world with an internet connection.

What do you like best about the product?
Previously, users in our organization maintained separate passwords to access the system and other applications. However, with the implementation of Jamf Connect, we have successfully streamlined the login process. This improvement has led to increased satisfaction among both users and the service desk team
What do you dislike about the product?
While we're still in the early stages of familiarizing ourselves with the platform and its functionalities, we're eager to explore its full potential. We hope for enhanced compatibility with various identity platforms, as our organization differs from others in its use of identity systems. Overall, we haven't encountered any significant issues thus far and remain optimistic about the future integration of the platform into our processes

What do you like best about the product?
Helps us authenticate Macbook users to our AD environment. Very nice login window experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
No negatives that I can think of right now. Upgrading versions is much easier now than a few years ago.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me authenticate users to our Macbooks.

Jamf Connect + Jamf Pro easy to use

What do you like best about the product?
after a few issues (no experience) while starting with jamf connect i find, that jamf connect is relativ easy to configure and use. We are using jamf connect since almost 3 years (i think) and i started with it after a few months of our jamf pro journey :)
its really easy to update (not the built in update mechanism)
Its really good maintained from jamf
a lot of possibilitys.
It was relativ easy to implement in jamf and azure as well.

guides from jamf are very good and helpfull
What do you dislike about the product?
maybe such a lot of updates in short time
some bugs in the jamf connect configuration app (I havent used it now for maybe 1.5 years)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enrollment issues with user creation.
Changing passwords on mac.
The biggest benefit for us is the time saver in many aspects. So time is money and more time for me to do other things as explain the user how they should create the user account on the macbook

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of Use. That you set it up and it works!
What do you dislike about the product?
That unless you specfically set it up to do otherwise, you must be online to log in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were using just local accounts, and then we started using Nomad (with AD credentials) but Nomad never quite worked right. There were always bugs and issues. With Jamf Connect- we were able to not use local accounts, but to use azure credentials and only have one password which was so much better than Nomad and no one ever remembering to update it when they changed their AD password. Jamf Connect just made my day as an admin so mcuh better and easier. It just worked.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how it allows user creation and user password syncing to a variety of identity providers.It works flawlessly once setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only negative is the amount of options that you can potentially configure with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows all users to be logged in with the institutional credentials, and allows password sync changes (especially with Filevault). And all this happens on any network.

What do you like best about the product?
The remote management capabilities and the way we are able to script and automate processes and policies.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI overall can be overwhelming. If there was a way to simplify it would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As we have a lot of remote users we are able to manage remotely everything at a distance of a click.

What do you like best about the product?
When I started at my company four years ago, the team was binding Apple computers to the domain. There were constant issues cropping up, and support tickets on a regular basis in regards to password changes and sync issues. We were already a Jamf customer and I came across Jamf Connect. After implementing Jamf Connect in our org, we've been able to enforce password policy with far less headache and less support request from users. The product is easy to use and the password change process is easy enough for users to remember with very little instruction from the IT side. Updating Jamf Connect is as simple as pushing out a new policy from Jamf Pro, which is really nice as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI for password changes has been updated over time by Jamf, but could still perhaps be a little easier for end users to understand,. perhaps more graphics and different verbiage through the process?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Jamf Connect, we don't have to bind Macs to our domain, which prevents a number of support issues from cropping up.

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to set up, out of the box it just works without much configuration, most of it is advanced stuff that adds even better value.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit dissapointing we can't get the login window to work with PEAP networks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Syncing IdP passwords, user account provisioning and 0 touch enrollment with the DEP Notify trigger.
