Jamf Connect is perfect for enterprise authentication
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Connect ensure that users are logging in to their Macs with their corporate credentials via Okta, avoiding user logon issues due to them not know what their local account password is.
What do you dislike about the product?
No dislikes - Jamf Connect is already wonderful, and it just keeps getting better with each release.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf Connect has allowed for a consistent logon experience to be delivered to all of our Mac users, providing a tailor-branded corporate logon screen, which ensures that all users are logging in with their Okta credentials.
Additionally, the Jamf Connect Notify elements are leveraged to provide a seamlessly beautiful device enrollment experiences, making enrollment simple and easy for even the most novice of users.

Use Jamf Connect to integrate your cloud identity provider with Mac endpoints
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Connect utilizes the cloud identity providers for user account management on Mac Endpoints.
Always keeps the password in sync, hence less password-related tickets.
It also allows restricting access for rouge/terminated end users.

What do you dislike about the product?
Configuration and deployment are complex and requires good technical expertise to deploy and manage this product.
Application and Configuration profile update is also complex & involves multiple steps.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User account creation, Password Sync & Password reset related issues are resolved using Jamf Connect
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Jamf Connect can be deployed as a separate application on Mac endpoints & not dependent on any specific MDM.
However, if you use Jamf Pro, it's easier to deploy and update Jamf Connect.

Easy, Modular, just the right way
What do you like best about the product?
Migration of accounts away from mobile accounts and binding to accounts that are softly bout with Azure in our case is the best thing ever! With the ability to change the looks aswell this is a verry cool thing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sadly it is not possible to use Jamf Connect Login for a login before the filevault2 unlock.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Account Creation and Account migration is the two big things we use it for. Having a login from the user of the device aswell gives us confidence in who is using the device :)
Best MDM For Your Apple Environment
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that I can make logging into our Apple environment easier for the entire organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't particularly appreciate that when linking your Azure account with Jamf Connect, it requires the user to enter their password a second time to log into their local account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to link the user accounts directly to Azure is impressive. Now our systems team can pull the user data they need on our Apple environment. They couldn't do that before. The information was limited.
Jamf Connect is a great solution for Identity Management
What do you like best about the product?
Bring Cloud Identity to Mac, and This helps us not only in Identity Management but also will streamline our Onboarding and Offboarding process. Not to forget Password Sync, which comes with jamf connect brings good end-user experience and reduces the Incident count of Password Reset to the helpdesk.
What do you dislike about the product?
Yes, We have seen many issues in Jamf connect during our Pilot but not anymore as the Jamf Connect team fixes them quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identity Management - taking on prep authentication to cloud authentication, which is one of the goals for our organistaion, Onboarding, Offboarding process. Bring passwordless login to a mac. Not to forget the Great onboarding end-users experience, which comes with Notify mechanism during Pre-Stage enrollments.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to bring cloud authentication to mac devices, then Jamf Connect is your answer. Go for it..

What do you like best about the product?
Single sign-on to cloud-based authentication and auto-creation of Mac local accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only supports a limited number of MFA factors that are supported by the IDP. The documentation is rudimentary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a replacement Enterprise Connect for Mac password management. Zero-touch deployment.

What do you like best about the product?
The best solution for Work from anywhere. Easy to migrate user accounts
What do you dislike about the product?
if the user forgot the password unable to reset other than login into admin access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Password sync when the user is connected to an open secure network. Jamf Connect help for complete Zero-Touch Deployment.

What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Connect has really helped us with the provision of macOS computers at enrolment. We use Okta as our IDP. It allows us to provision the user accounts from the Okta credentials used at enrolment. Along with MFA this has been a great user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside we see is the user is prompted twice for their password at boot if FileVault is enabled. Not a deal-breaker thou.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem was the provision of the main user account on macOS computers, with Jamf Connect and Okta this is now so simple

The ability to seamlessly create an account without hassle!

Not really. It seems pretty good. I'll be sure to comment/update once we implement it.
