Great service, graphs and charts to see by the minute updates to help monitor your data.
What do you like best about the product?
The feature i like most are the pie charts and maps, they are very easy to read and you can glance at them to get a lot of info on my data. Also customer service is top notch, any issue they have the answer or can give pointer on how to configure any thing you may need.
What do you dislike about the product?
The feature i like least are the emails, they can be written better to show whats going on and not have to login to SW to check whats going on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solarwinds help me find what NIDS may be down and can provide an indepth analysis.

How much data and insight you can receive over your entire network.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now, I have zero complaints. It has saved us 5 times since having this up and running.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before we had this up and running, our data center would completley go dead due to power outages. The last team had did a half job of setting up PRTG and we wouldnt know the data center would go offline until we heard from a user that something wasnt working. Now, we are able to receive alerting the correct way and be able to respond proactively instead of reactively like before.

What do you like best about the product?
Cost is very less as compared with other monitoring tools and vendor support is best.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like almost everything nothing which can be pointed out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to have limited number of servers and pollers earlier but after moving to the Observability cloud we can have n number of pollers and everything is managed very well.

It was easy to upgrade from an alacart SolarWinds model to the Hybrid Cloud Obserability SolarWinds.
Support has always been good, and available 25x7.

What do you dislike about the product?
Still having issues with the Healthcheck monitoring SolarWinds application server reboots and upgrades.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sending alerts to our NOC for network outages, and server issues. This allows us to resolve issues faster.

The option to work off line means that it can plug into our OT enviroment, and prodive great visiablity

Linking the dashboards can require a lot of work

What do you like best about the product?
The cloud observability is just amazing, it does everything for me from managing to scaling and from monitoring to contolling. It seems there is no where else to go for my application for such simple implementation and integration. Even the customer support is very effective in terms of reply and efficiency. I recommend to some who is looking for standalone platform to manage cloud services for their application.
What do you dislike about the product?
According to me only one thing I was little dissappointed which is pricing. May for someone its fair with large application to handle but not for everyone. Also, the frequency of the usage needs to be monitor at every stage.

One place to look for multiple things decreases my time delay and increases productivity.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use with the free subscription. It's easy to integrate with Ubiquiti Unifi UDM and many features for the price. I use it daily to get an idea of the health of my network including firewall rules, router and switch issues and more. To implement, I just had to put the url into my UDM. After I figured out how I want to use the log, I save processing and data by putting filter logs directly in papertrail in order to prevent it counting useless data to my data cap. Prices for adding additional log processing is low and on demand which makes it easy to only pay for what you get.
What do you dislike about the product?
It wasn't easy to figure out how to do the log filters with severity. At first, it is easy to put in strings to exclude from the filters, but I still haven't figured out how to filter out severity when the severity text is not actually in the string. It is a number.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Detect issues with port scans and IPs that constantly hit my router. Port flapping and STP issues. Router or switch errors and configuration issues.

Performance Analyzer (PerfStack) and NetPath are my favorite features of NPM

Complex licensing. ( Yes, they are moving in to simple node based licensing)
