OpsCruise is useful in monitoring our cloud infrastructure thanks to Autonomous App Behavior Model
What do you like best about the product?
OpsCruise follows a simple yet comprehensive pricing model in which various features such as custom metrics, casual analysis, log report and anomaly detection. Our expenditures are easy to understand & optimize our cloud resources through its pricing forecast insights. We can integrate it with various open-source monitoring components such as Prometheus & KSM with few clicks.
What do you dislike about the product?
While working with its user interface, we faced minor complexities due to the steep learning curve. We need to know a few terminologies & configuration options so that we can set up the Dashboard as per our requirements. Apart from this, OpsCruise is effective for monitoring our cloud infrastructure, keeping track of the errors and identifying potential performance bottlenecks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's convenient to design our application mapping through its Apps Map Designer as it only requires straightforward drag & drop gestures. Once the setup is complete, several load balancing issues can be easily overviewed & through its automated discovery feature, newly included resources are also updated. Through its patent-pending approach, we obtain granular visibility on where the performance issue has occurred, why it has occurred and how we can pinpoint the RCA for quick troubleshooting. We also identify critical problem onsets in our production environment using its autonomous behavior model which is also helpful in reducing the noise from other false alerts significantly.

Adaptive Observability for Microservices
What do you like best about the product?
Quite easy to install and Intuitive to use
What do you dislike about the product?
Asks: Alerting on aggregated events due to singular cause instead of multiple alerts would be a very useful add on
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OpsCruise was set up to monitor and observe our Kubernetes environment.
Opscruise metric/log collection is built on industry-standard open telemetry and open source tools. It was straightforward to use the product, and we could visualize the application in 10 minutes or so. The experience of deploying the observability platform was extremely good.
Once deployed, we could observe the various interactions among the microservices at different levels - virtual machines, shared resources/environments, networking. Incidents that happen can be contextually viewed at multiple layers to resolve them fast, e.g., noisy neighbor....
Baselining the behavior and alerting for anomalies happens automatically without the need to set explicit thresholds for different parameters. This greatly reduces operator errors. Any change to a micro-service or adding another service is also baselined. It eliminates the need to review any previously used alerting mechanisms based on the human experience. Once an alert is raised, Root Cause Analysis provides insights leading to faster isolation/resolution.
Opscruise provides an adaptive observability solution that future proofs our environment.

Amazing K8S observability tool
What do you like best about the product?
OpsCruise brings together all aspects of monitoring a Kubernetes cluster in one place. The AI engine sets up alerts that you can also fine tune. You can periodically check in yourself or let the tool run and alert you. The team was responsive and open to suggestions.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I dislike. Some parts of the UI were unintuitive, and the team took the feedback to work on. With a really large cluster, the network layout gets bogged down, but that is also a limitation of web browsers and how much memory/CPU it can use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OpsCruise solves the problem of knowing what is happening in a Kubernetes cluster and how all the components are performing in a quick, visual way. It also provides alerts and notifications so that you don't have to check in on the workloads yourself.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think OpsCruise is an invaluable tool. I would use it any time I have a Kuberenetes cluster that I need to manage and monitor.
Makes complex cloud infrastructures comprehensible
What do you like best about the product?
Kubernetes clusters start out simple enough but quickly become complex as dev teams make use of the various platform features available. As operators we can struggle to stay on top of the various workloads we're attempting to monitor. OpsCruise ingests operational data and builds a rich set of dashboards that make it easy to identify network bottlenecks, infrastructure problems and other anomalies as they happen.
One particularly useful feature is "Time Travel" mode, which allows operators to compare current cluster state with previous cluster states, which has helped us many times to identify temporary failures which would otherwise be invisible.
However the best thing about OpsCruise is the amazing team that supports it. OpsCruise is more than just a service provider; they are a partner that works tirelessly to make sure the integration with your system is as seamless as possible, taking into account your system's particular architectures and helping you to become a better operational organization. Very much recommend.

What do you dislike about the product?
OpsCruise is delivered as a helm chart. This is convenient in some ways but brings along all of the baggage of helm too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OpsCruise has helped us in many ways. Some examples include:
* diagnosing crashing applications
* identifying slow response times in multi-tier environments
* identifying resource constraints (memory, cpu, etc)
* identifying poorly-balanced workloads
* identifying broken releases
* and generally making sense of a complex environment

Seamless Operational Insights
What do you like best about the product?
- Flow analytics that show me all real-time dependencies between my application services without instrumenting code or deploying proprietary agents
- Containers & Kubernetes centric - I can see all application and related objects and telemetry in context without navigating through multiple screens or switching tools, while being non-intrusive since they run in your monitoring plane
- Predictive analytics that surface degradations before the customer notices - even problems that have never occurred before
- Automated causal analysis that goes beyond symptoms and gets to the heart of issues instead of you diving into a dozen charts, graphs, log files, and traces.

What do you dislike about the product?
Opscruise is purpose-built for modern cloud-native applications and platforms and does an amazing job. Lack of support for legacy applications is a minor challenge for a few organizations that would like to use a single tool for all application monitoring.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My teams are responsible for several key business applications. If those apps were slow or unresponsive, they have a significant impact on our reputation with partners and ultimately revenue. Opscruise proactively notifies our teams before the problems arise to be able to remediate before our customers can notice.
A large stack of microservice needs detailed and granular visibility and tracing
What do you like best about the product?
OpsCruse gave us the capability to have a birds-eye view of the microservice stack helping us not only to monitor but to be able to trace the issue very quickly. My discussions started at a very early stage of deploying our Kubernetes Cluster with OpsCruise. They played a critical role not just in deploying the tool but in understanding my requirements, expectations and helped customize some of the modules.
It was an excellent and good learning experience working with the team
It was an excellent and good learning experience working with the team
What do you dislike about the product?
There was nothing in particular to mention
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To have a traceability view of the kubernetes cluster
Reduction in time to resolution in complex multilayered application deployments
What do you like best about the product?
Most valuable is the ability to relate application-level behavior and anomalies with Kubernetes and the underlying infrastructure components. This value is most beneficial where the operations team has limited support from application developers or in growing organizations where direct communications between these teams are not always possible. Couple this with lower cost and footprint and resource needs compared to APMs, OpsCruise is a serious contender for operational application management.
What do you dislike about the product?
The machine learning algorithms require a well-behaving system to learn the baseline peace-time behavior, which is not always possible to guarantee.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem we are trying to solve is to empower our SaaS operations team to proactively find issues and trace them back to root causes before the customers can complain. We are in the early stages of engagement, but the potential benefits are clear to us.
Great 'smart layer' on top of open source monitoring tools
What do you like best about the product?
We had a bunch of open source and cloud monitoring tools that we love - Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, AWS CloudWatch but we spent a lot of time jumping between those tools to solve performance problems and troubleshoot app/infra issues. OpsCruise unifies those tools in a smart layer that shows all the metrics, logs, flow and trace info in context + with AI/ML is automates the identification of the source of the issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a commercial tool that requires a subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to detect performance degradations ahead of users flagging them and we can troubleshoot 3-5 faster than the past - big step up in MTTR
