Perfect Partner to build a Centre of Excellence
What do you like best about the product?
Blue Prism is an exceptional enabler for myself to build a CoE (twice). It has enable my team to build some exceptional unattended builds for the benefit of both the business and from the perspective of the critical customer journey.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to engage more directly with Blue Prism themselves. Having come from a company that is still branded as a Heritage customer of BP to being pushed to a Service Provider is not ideal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At the highest level we have automated solutions that will ultimately deliver as phase 1 the equivalent FTE saving of 27 FTE.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Direct involvement with new customers, there is a clear lack of engagement from senior people at events such as BP World. Not recognising new customers and patting the back of older customers is not good!

UI of BP was awesome. Its very user friendly of infrastructure they are having. Inbuilt functionality.

Whenver I need support, BP support gave the better help to achieve the target.

Usability and Scalability; Easy to schedule the bots and maintain in Production LIVE environment. Capable enough to run in all types of platforms such as AZURE, AWS...

Quite Expensive when compared with other tools in the market.

The division of process and objects allows for a structured design workflow. Integration with third party APIs made available on the digital exchange platform leverage the community's innovations.

Automation Tool Review Blue Prism
What do you like best about the product?
Blue Prism which provides a best user interface to users compared to other RPA tools in the market. It does have two different studio, Process studio and Object studio. Process studio mainly focuses on implementing the business logic where object studio is for interacting with external application via application modeller. Testing and debugging in Blue Prism is designed in such a way that it could start from anywhere from the code flow. It is still the best tool for implementing multi-bot architecture.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is mandatory to install Blue Prism software in machines in which the bot need to execute. By doing so, it becomes costly to business who had implemented a RPA solution with Blue Prism. Having said that , License would be more expensive and depends on how many machines you would have to execute it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A well organized dashboard within the Blue Prism would give an idea of the number of processes implemented and published. It would show a glimpse idea on calculating the Return of Investment. More over using Blue Prism software we could automate the rule based, repetitive business processes. Hence it would help to replace the full time employee using these bots and can relocate those employees to more efficient business processes.

Anyone who is interested can learn Blue Prism by going through the documents they provide. Best RPA tool for freshers who is desire to explore into RPA technology.

What do you like best about the product?
The completely structured and User friendly interface, effective exception handling mechanisms and work queue management are the key best features of Blue prism (BP). The process studio in BP helps the user to implement the business logic and the Object studio helps to interact with the front end applications that are used in the business logic. the control room is very efficient and effective for monitoring and controlling the bot execution. The schedulers in control room helps in unattended bot execution.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main drawback with blue prism is that it is not providing any community version of its license. For all the machines we need to run the bot we have to install the BP application. We cannot even monitor the bot run remotely without installing the application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Blue Prism application we can automate the rule based, repetitive business processes so we can replace the full time employee using these bots and can relocate those employees to more efficient business processes. By implementing BP automation, the business can get the return of investment in a very short time period. The accuracy and processing time of the business processes will get improved in a significant amount.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
BP is a very effective automation tool that suitable even for a beginner. The more you explore on the possibilities inside the BP you can find the wide range of applications of BP in various domains. The code stage inside the object studio will help you more in over come the limitations of default BP features.

Best automation tool in the Market. Support is not good but in my 2 years of BLUEPRISM experience never required any

Technical Maturity of the product, Stability of the installation, ease of development, Security framework, Partner network, training and certification program

Lack of End user visibility i.e. process dashboard,analytics to business users, Missing feature of process recorder, Lack of product innovation

Using blue prism for unattended automation (virtual workforce) in network operations like incident management, Change management, Reporting , Site acceptance etc. have realized productivity benefit equivalent to 120+ FTE
Recommendations to others considering the product:
One of the best RPA product, was able to meet all the security and compliance needs, stable in production, out of the box version management, easy development and deployment. Missing functionality process Recording to speed up the development, end user dashboards and reporting
My own experience using BluePrism tool
What do you like best about the product?
The first point I want to comment, is that in my opinion, BluePrisms is one of the most powerful tools to automate (Top-3) and one of the least prior knowledge in programming require. This is an advantage, although in certain cases it can be a limitation.
On the other hand I really like the user interface that has the tool, apart from having a graphical part to analyze the code very well implemented, in which you can move to the point you want and be able to execute your code from the desired point ..
Another really good aspect is also the possibility of developing coding using .net language, which increases the possibilities of performing work in large volume.
What do you dislike about the product?
From my point of view, a very weak point of BluePrism and many RPA tools, is that their learning and use as a basic user, is completely censored, which encourages the use of other tools that do have the possibility to do your first codes and test the tool without having to have previously paid for licenses.
This is very important, since the community would use this tool more if they could have a small tutorial course explaining how to use it and everything they can do with this tool.
For example, UiPath offers a trial version of the tool, along with courses with training exercises to know the characteristics and possibilities of the tool, which encourages its use in a bestial manner. In the same way, the BluePrism community or other tools need an official forum where there are official Blueprism people working to make a continuous improvement and give a good service to the users of the tool. From my point of view, this is completely vital to make sure that the tool does not stagnate and move on to other tools in the market.

Various projects such as making accounts or invoices at the end of the month of a company ... Counting of clients who have unsubscribed from a telephone line ... etc.

Yes but, the possibility of doing courses and free trial version for the basic users is completely vital for the future viability of this tool
The innovation of this company is incredible, it has freed me to do other more critical tasks!

This software has freed me from doing some of the grunt work of my day to day job and it has freed me to pursue more important things. The ai this software has is amazing and it has allowed me enhance my customer service while not spending a dime more.

At this point my only complaint is I didnt start using it sooner! Great stuff.

I was freeing up myself and other staff members by implementing this software. It really is innovative and unique in its role at my current employer.
