Through the eyes of a beginner
What do you like best about the product?
For companies, the fact that there is no charge for licenses for each developer is excellent and a very strong point that puts Blue Prism ahead of its competitors, considering that other tools in the market charge an absurd amount for each developer in a team.
What do you dislike about the product?
From my point of view, for a beginner, I found the extraction of elements on a screen complex compared to other tools in the market. This is a point that, if improved and simplified, would attract more customers and help those who are starting in RPA like me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits are numerous for those who use Blue Prism as a tool, having automated tasks that we used to spend hours and hours doing, thus allowing for much more speed in daily activities and consequently saving time on the workload, enabling it to be devoted to other things.
BluePrism is one of the best tool for RPA solutions.
What do you like best about the product?
(1) Can connect to multiple tools externally.
(2) Exception Handling is easy to implement and understand.
(3) Business User-friendly Interface
(4) Digitial Exchange has many assets that help in rapid developments.

What do you dislike about the product?
(1) Handling the size of Actions and stages manually.
(2) UI can be changed and can be made developer friendly.
(3) Yet more features can be included in Other Blueprism Products such as Interact and Control room.
(4) Decipher needs more features for classifying documents and Batches.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
(1) Interact help us to improve the scopes of attended processes.

My review for SS&C Blue Prism for V7.1
What do you like best about the product?
1. New V7 brings many changes since we are using API and Browser automations extensively.
2. Blue prism process intelligence is deployed across COE to find out the process gaps and optimizations.
3. Decipher IDP is used for internal document processing purpose for now and it is under testing. So far looks good in terms of data extraction.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. There are still may improvements blue prism can make in the tool.
2. On ideation portal there are many quite useful ideas submited by user that blue prism needs to deliver in timely manner.
3. There can be moe frequent version upgrads.
4. Can not update tool online and also can not update digital assets directly. User has to do all this tasks manually to update the tool and to update the reusbale codes.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Earlier we used IE to automate web application and now with Chrome we are doing that. It is saving 35 FTE down to 3 bots running 24X7 performing data entry in internal portal.
2. There is no option for dark theme causes lot of eye strain to our users. Hope blue prism would add a dark mode soon.
3. User experience can be made more better in overall tool.
4. I feel the tool and the documentation portal looks very old fashion, there is a space for UI/UX updates in BP.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use tool, very intuitive and easy to learn, for those who come from other automation tools it becomes very easy to use the tool because it uses simple and practical flows
What do you dislike about the product?
Very complex configuration, requiring knowledge in database and other aspects that the developer will not always have, being necessary to resort to other professionals to be able to carry out the action
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Day-to-day processes of the company, sending login tasks, registration, consultation and generation of reports and information form managers without having to worry.

I like how easy is to interact with this software, in all terms of management.
The best thing about it, is that's very easy to understand what we are doing on flowchart.

I dont like how we dont have some common functionalities, like change more than one variables name.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Almost every problems related to manual automations, I can see far away how to manage my problems at ease with the flowchart of blueprism and create a good solution to it.
Great tool, has a great flow and is complete

The fact that the user develops in Flowchart makes it much easier to solve problems, being also one of the best tools to start with because it is very intuitive, in addition to being very good for developing in an office environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
In Blue prism I don't like the mapping, as accurate as it is, it's not very broad, a possible solution to these problems would be an update in the mapping so that it captures several items at once

one of the main problems is the mapping, it is very accurate but it is not very broad, in the process in which I worked I managed to map correctly, however if it was necessary to capture several data from a page it would be extremely laborious, such as mapping a shopping site.

What do you like best about the product?
It's flexible and easy to visualize what you are doing. The forums are very active. It's easy to find solutions to problems you struggle with, and many pre-built objects facilitate working with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's relatively hard to learn until you understand the tool and its functionalities. But this is a problem that comes with it's extensive range of tools and functions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's very flexible and easy to visualize when compared to some of the other automation tools. It helps a lot in visualizing and solving exceptions, and this helps a lot in business performance.

high cost due to this lower budget companies can't efford this software frequent. not even for poc

Ease of creating workflows in object and process creation.
What do you dislike about the product?
OCR reading is a little weak, so it is necessary to use third-party services, and low support in solving problems and delay in responding to tickets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits in cost reduction and higher fidelity rate in relation to human errors.
Blue Prism one of the best platform there is for automation. I have worked with it from 2015.
What do you like best about the product?
Queue Management and Security and easier to check the session logs for investigation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dowside is that it does not allow coding directly in Python. However it has a away to run the script.
