Blue prism from a developer's vision
What do you like best about the product?
Blue prism is a great tool when it comes to speed of implementation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The little integration with other existing systems, and the difficulty to find content about solving problems on the internet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Very good automation tool for business users
What do you like best about the product?
I found it very easy to learn and play with to create automation as a business user.
Browser automation worked great for me to download certain reports that I was doing earlier manually.
The latest version has a lot of advanced features and I'm planning to explore other products as well from Blue Prism like Hub, Interact etc

What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup took me some time to understand the architecture and terminology.
It felt a little tough to set up SQL Server and Database for a blue prism to work, but that might be due to me being a business user and not much of a technical person.
Apart from this, I did not notice anything that I disliked so far.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped me download multiple excel reports from our websites which was done earlier manually.
Also, it helped me manipulate excel reports that I download from websites and perform certain calculations on them.
I'm still exploring if Blue Prism can generate a dashboard report for me but that is on the learning track for now.

Super intuitive automation!!!
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about SS&C Blue Prism - RPA is the fact that it is a super intuitive code-free automation, which makes process automation easier and brings convenience to the daily life of the tool's users.
Moreover, it is a very comprehensive system with all the management of machine and server usage.

What do you dislike about the product?
One of the less attractive parts of the tool is the visual management of the control room, mainly because there is no option for filters on the screen, which makes the view very cluttered. Another point that should be highlighted is some aspects of the mappings; depending on the system that is going to be mapped, the tool lacks preparation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The SS&C Blue Prism - RPA process automation brings automation to repetitive processes that do not require discernment in decisions. It is capable of automating daily activities that we perform remotely, mechanically, without even stopping to read, to give an idea of how mechanical it is for humans.
As an example of this, I can mention the automation of extracting two "daily" reports and compiling specific data into a single report. By automating this activity alone, at least 2 hours of the employee's day were saved, freeing them for other activities that require more dedication and also avoiding overtime.

Efficient Automation!
What do you like best about the product?
In my opinion, the code-free automation building format is one of the highlights, other points are the ease of implementation and intuitive control room view. Additionally, the scalability is very effective, and also the diversity of creation that the user can have, there are endless possibilities that can be developed for the same solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
The part I like least about the tool is the visual management of the control room and some limitations regarding mappings. I had problems with mappings in the Oracle system and some websites. The mappings with region make development difficult and often there are not enough resources for some solutions in these situations. Another point is the format of error messages, which are not very intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Generation of lengthy reports, data compilation, document filling, system updates, all these aspects were addressed with the implementation of RPA, many of which were automated and executed outside of business hours, facilitating and bringing more efficiency to daily operations. Often, hours were lost with report extraction, creation of complex spreadsheets full of formulas and intricate logic, all of which can be performed by the robot. Another benefit is the elimination of overtime, caused by unexpected tasks that can be handled by the robot, thanks to its scalability. By properly creating the process, it can run on various servers, meeting the same demand, avoiding extra costs, and still fulfilling all the demand.

Blueprism remembers me a "lego"... you build the pieces first and after joining everything

The task that you did mainly everyday for example, you build a bot to help time and money with that.
Robotic Process Automation by Blue Prism an Enterprises Delight
What do you like best about the product?
SS&C Blue Prism - RPA is a tool that can be used by enterprises and industries to solve their needs related to both Manpower and Process Effectiveness. This leads an organisation on the path of growth and development.
What do you dislike about the product?
SS&C Blue Prism - RPA may not be more efficient on the small scale industries or Enterprises that have an abrubt structure and working model. The cost to implement RPA will not be affordable for every enterprise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems that RPA mainly focuses is the abrupt process that is being followed in the system which does not lead to better growth related results. Also their Digital workforce enables constant support and help to the organization to make the process better and easier for the organisation.
One of the best RPA tool for organizations
What do you like best about the product?
BluePrism is famous for its automation on computers. They have a great resources online with Blue Prism University and it is easy to automate a lot of exnterprise taks with this. BluePrism also has a great support for not only pc tasks but modern web browser automation. With this, a lot of webpage automation is easy. As a Blue Prism developer, the pay scale is also good in the software and IT industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main dislike is the flexibility of automation. While it adds a wide range of applications and web browsing automation, some specific industry tasks may not be possible. For example, there is no support for calendar selection in web browser automation. Also, there would a learning curver required for anyone getting started with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps solve industry and enterprise tasks through automation. A lot of business processes can be automated required less human work and more timed , regular and efficient delivery of business tasks. It is also saving a lot of time but not just money.

Excellent Performance and Support - Terrible Release Plans
What do you like best about the product?
1. I like how easy it is to design (visually) and share your workflows with your colleagues.
2. It is easy to spy on different applications whereas, in applications like UiPath, it is somewhat confusing although in the runtime it performs well.
3. The Decipher IDP offering is excellent, it is so much easier to create document definitions and batch types. The out-of-the-box models reduce so much development time. UiPath's document understanding isn't that advanced in my opinion.
4. It is easier to design and publish dynamic forms in Blue Prism Interact but I'd love to see form-building capability within Blue Prism Studio.
Overall, it is highly efficient when it comes to scaling and workflow execution. The way they have kept things simple is excellent. From development to an ongoing support - amazing experience.
On the other hand, UiPath has added so many options in their offering (mostly management related) that it has somewhat become confusing.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. When it comes to releasing updates and following release plans, Blue Prism lacks. For example, they were supposed to release v7.1 in March but now they are planning to release it in June.
2. The UI is somewhat old-fashioned. There is a lot of room for UI/UX improvement.
3. It lacks (to my knowledge) some features like Multi-tenancy. And Storage Buckets, Advanced Monitoring as compared to UiPath.
4. Their Interact offering lacks public forms.

1. Insurance Quotes Generation
2. Document Processing
3. Large Scale Data Scraping
We mostly work with Insurance agencies, and their time-taking processes include Processing Claims, Writing Quotes, Generating more leads, etc. And we have automated 80% of Insurance related stuff with Blue Prism.
