Devops Engineer
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud has been really helpful for simplifying identity and device management in one place. I like that it works smoothly across Windows, macOS, Linux, and cloud apps without locking you into a single ecosystem. It makes onboarding and offboarding much easier by automating user access, and the built-in SSO and MFA features give a good balance of convenience and security. Since it’s cloud-based, there’s no heavy infrastructure to maintain, which saves both time and cost.Overall, it’s been most helpful in improving security, customer support, reducing admin overhead, and giving users a better login experience. It gives us that ease of implementation and ease of integration. Also the frequency of use is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mac / Apple device support is not always as mature as dedicated tools. Some policies may not behave exactly as expected on macOS, or there might be delays, agent-issues, or missing fine-grained controls compared to tools like Jamf.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud has solved a lot of the problems we had around managing users and devices across different platforms. Before, identities and access were scattered across multiple tools, which made onboarding, offboarding, and enforcing security policies messy and time-consuming. With JumpCloud, everything is centralized, so new users can be set up quickly, and access is removed just as easily when someone leaves. The built-in SSO and MFA have strengthened our security while making it easier for employees to log in without juggling multiple passwords. Managing Windows, macOS, and Linux machines from one place has also been a big win, especially with more people working remotely. Overall, it’s saved us a lot of admin time, improved visibility into who has access to what, and given us more confidence that our environment is secure and scalable as we grow.

Smooth Day-to-Day Experience with JumpCloud
What do you like best about the product?
I find JumpCloud very straightforward to use. Signing in with a single set of credentials across different applications makes my day-to-day work easier. The MFA process is smooth and doesn’t feel disruptive, and I appreciate that I can access everything I need securely without juggling multiple passwords.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, the login process can feel a bit slow, especially when MFA is required and network connectivity isn’t great. Occasionally, switching between applications requires re-authentication, which can interrupt the workflow. While these are minor, a smoother and more seamless experience across apps would make it even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud makes it easier for me to access all the applications and resources I need with just one login. Instead of remembering multiple passwords, I can rely on a single set of credentials, which saves time and reduces frustration. The added security of MFA also gives me confidence that my account is protected without making the process complicated. Overall, it helps me stay productive while keeping access secure.
