Unifying disparate platforms finally felt achievable, thanks to JumpCloud's unexpected versatility
What do you like best about the product?
The capability of our department is to have a control in the access to the specific application available to their team without requiring IT tickets every time there is a small change is amazing. It says that our marketing manager can invite a new content writer to Canva and Slack via few clicks. We also like the ease at which we can give our external consultants secure but limited access to project specific tools. This maintains everyone in a productive state and our internal systems safe.
What do you dislike about the product?
Configuration of new single sign on apps can be a bit less user friendly at times, especially when setting up custom SAML fields on the more arcane applications. We would like to have more detailed application run-down and looking more closely at trends in application access. This would allow us to find possible layout or odd user behavior rather rapidly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were sinking with assorted user accounts and varying access to our cloud apps in an expanding variety. No matter what team or project I used, the hour was spent trying to remember email addresses to send manual invites from, and what email to log in to each service with. The new employees can now acquire immediate access to their key tools, based on their JumpCloud identity. This has saved a lot of valuable time of our operating team so that they spend time on other growth activities rather than spend discoursing on access.
JumpCloud has streamlined the process to daily logins and optimised security in the process.
What do you like best about the product?
Every single day, I use JumpCloud to manage all of my work application logins, And I do feel like I have won the biggest prize, I don’t have to memorize more than one password, one login takes care of everything. I feel comfortable more than ever with MFA, and I appreciate that it does not slow me down. I can resume work on any device and my access is super convenient which is nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like any application, the admin console can feel a tad too complicated at times. The same applies for attempts to add new users or change settings for a given policy. Changes being synced across all apps, given my experience, does not happen in real-time which causes delays. Unlike the mobile application, which is relatively smoother on the PC interface, could use a bit more polish. There is also the issue of access problems, which in my opinion, probably could be resolved quicker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, I have thanks JumpCloud for not only making me dread multi-factor-authentication, but also for eliminating the cumbersome separate logins. It gives me peace of mind that I have to spend less time during a day for password resets and, more importantly, that our data is secure. It is simply one less thing to worry in a busy day.
Reliable and Developer-Friendly Cloud Platform
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about JumpCloud is how easy it makes managing users and devices from a single platform. As a developer, I really appreciate the smooth integrations with different tools and the straightforward APIs—it saves a lot of time when setting up authentication and access controls. The MFA and security policies are simple to configure, which gives me confidence that everything is secure without adding extra complexity.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main drawback I’ve experienced with JumpCloud is that the UI can feel a bit overwhelming at first, especially when managing a large number of users or policies. Some advanced features also have a learning curve, and documentation could be more detailed in certain areas. That said, once you get familiar with it, the platform works reliably.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is solving the challenge of centralized identity and device management without the need for on-premise infrastructure. It simplifies user provisioning, enforces secure authentication with MFA, and streamlines access control across multiple applications. For me, this means less time spent on manual setup, stronger security by default, and a much smoother onboarding process for new team members.

What do you like best about the product?
As the company use numerous tools so JumpCloud helps to keep a centralized login for all tools. It's secure also effective. It's even beneficial for cross-teams. Best part is that it definitely reduces my time to keep me wait for IT permission.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel a little bit of problem is with the integration that's a bummer. As I need continuous reporting there it could be more detailed. Also, support response can be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me to manage too many loggins across marketing tools like CRM, Analytics program etc. Constantly needing permission from IT has been our main concerned. And I must say, it excels there. And exceptionally secured!
Incorrect password issue
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud makes it very straightforward to manage users across multiple systems without having to rely on an on-prem directory like Active Directory. The UI is intuitive, and I really like the way policies can be applied consistently across Windows, macOS, and Linux devices. The SSO integrations with popular SaaS apps (Google Workspace, Slack, AWS, etc.) save us a lot of setup time. The passwordless login options and MFA enforcement also make it easier to keep our environment secure while reducing friction for users. I also appreciate that their support team is very responsive and often provides practical fixes quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few areas that could be improved. The reporting and audit logs, while functional, don’t always go as deep as I’d like when troubleshooting authentication issues. At times, syncing changes across all apps can take longer than expected, which can confuse end users waiting for access updates. I’ve also occasionally run into a situation where users see an “incorrect password” message even though credentials were correct — it usually resolves after a refresh, but it can cause unnecessary tickets. Pricing can also feel a bit high as your user base grows, especially if you need advanced features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud allows us to consolidate identity and access management into a single platform. Before, we had to manage multiple tools for user provisioning, authentication, and device policies. Now, onboarding a new employee is much faster: we just create an account in JumpCloud, assign groups, and they instantly get access to the right apps with MFA enforced. Security compliance is easier since password policies and device controls are enforced centrally. It’s also been a big help for remote work — users can log in securely from anywhere, and we still maintain visibility and control over their devices. Overall, it saves our IT team significant time and gives leadership peace of mind about security.
Seamless MDM Integration with Competitive Pricing
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the ease of setup with JumpCloud and the supportive onboarding and customer success teams. The product effectively addresses compliance gaps, particularly with device encryption and overall IT management. The MDM functionality and the unified sign-in experience are invaluable, simplifying policy implementation and account management. Additionally, competitive pricing and a robust feature set make it a compelling choice to buy again.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the current reporting capabilities in JumpCloud.

On-boarding and off-boarding
Our network sprawl settled into an orderly calm with JumpCloud's oversight
What do you like best about the product?
The accuracy we obtain by specifying particular scripts to operate on selected users or bundles of devices is invaluably useful to our development cycles. It implies that we could have customized instrument updates or security patches push out only to where they are necessary with little or no collateral effect. The in-depth audit logs concerning user logins and device health are surprisngly intelligent, either. This provides a clean historical illustration that is excellent to use in a compliance check or to trace down a thorny access problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish that searching in the search bar in the JumpCloud admin console was a bit more flavorful; searching out an ultra specific policy in a grid of many generated policies can be a bit of a chore when you have a great many polices created. The generation of contextualized reports that cannot be done by the provided standard templates is less intuitive than it should and frequently results in us exporting data in order to analyse it elsewhere. And minor inconstancies in naming conventions in some of the settings tabs that can lead to minor confusion to a new member learning the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to have the biggest headache in making sure that all the developers had exactly the right access and environmental configuration to new projects dedicated test servers and internal proprietary tools. We were in the manual configuration/rendering permission to crank lot of time. Completely transforming how we manage these custom project environments was through JumpCloud. This ability, now, to define very highly specific user groups and can afford to load policies that will provide access to specific internal IPs or application endpoints directly, to circumvent the works on my machine excuses and get new project teams up and productive nearly immediately now knowing that they have special access pre-configured and pre-validated.
