What do you like best about the product?
It covers most of the services I need for my daily work as a JumpCloud admin.
What do you dislike about the product?
When there's an OS update for MacOs, there's always an issue which we can not find the solution or documentation for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real-time syncing with remote devices so we can manage them as quick as we can.

Easy to navigate through, and very secure. All tabs visible.

What do you like best about the product?
The security that features attached with Jumpcloud, such as MFA. The Admin portal, the well-organized user interface, SSO. It has almost every feature and can integrate with many other platforms, in comparison to its competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that sometimes access on the user portal is tied to the administrator. It is a good security feature :), but painstaking. I once experienced a request for a password reset and the email never came through, I went through a support ticket at JC and it was solved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving Single Sign-on access in my environment, the cost is very efficient. Yes I am more productive with JC because it is easy to navigate through, thus, an overall huge increase in business performance.
It easily integrates with third-party tools
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Explore all its features, for instance, Single sign-on, other platform integration, Identity and access management and more!

  • March 15, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud is intuitive and easy to use. It is straightforward to onboard new employees and configures existing SASS tools to leverage its SSO features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some providers do not yet integrate with Jumpcloud but that is improving over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralizing identity and access management have been the biggest benefit. Having one place for all employee access is great.

JumpCloud for SMB

  • March 15, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I've been the IT Manager / System Admin for two start-ups and both times we've relied on JumpCloud as an alternative to ADDS. JumpCloud does many things very well (SSO, MFA, MDM) and for a SMB that cannot afford the overhead of more elaborate solutions, JumpCloud checks a lot fo boxes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jumpcloud does not have as robust reporting as other solutions for their MDM for example if I wanted an eMail report that informed me of users that haven't logged into their systems in the past 30 days, I cannot get that reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a solution that could manage Mac's and PC's in a fully remote environment that was cost affective. Concidering JumpCloud does SSO, MDM, MFA, and some other stuff it made a lot of sense for us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a solution to handle MDM for Mac+PC's, SSO, Security for a single smaller organization, then JumpCloud makes a lot of sense.

Great for adding Linux based OS products to the system but definitely some problems still there.

  • March 15, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Jumpcloud allows us to manage multiple different Operating systems and easy to manage tools
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the problems with the Mac OS agent installs and the way it works with Apple ID can be very challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are having with Mac OS systems (but who isn't). The benefit is definitely having the ability to manage a whole company domain remotely, now in modern times.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are heavy into using Linux based machines (MAC OS etc etc) consider there a lot of limitations to it but for adding that all into one domain is definitely worth if you are building from the ground up. Adding it to a Windows-based environment

  • March 15, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud is a robust system that is user-friendly but powerful enough for all users.
What do you dislike about the product?
A remote support tool is something that I find missing more and more as I use jumpcloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to manage and support remote users has been a godsend.

Nice and innovative tool

  • March 15, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud helps to manage our assets in many ways! It supports a wide variety of roles, permissions, deploy new software remotely, integrate with our identity access management process and, best of all, works on Windows, Linux and OSX. Considering that we work on a remote company, JumpCloud does help us a lot to manage and secure our assets.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few Linux distros (like Arch based ones) that aren't supported by JumpCloud. Another issue is that sometimes with a few users, the tool goes out of sync. Since we are a remote company, we have to connect on the computer to resync it, which causes a lot of trouble when it happens.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Now we can properly manage remotely our inventory, secure our endpoints with some roles, manage the identity of the endpoint itself and integrate with a lot of tools and also, deploy remotely new software and updates.

Good fit for global business

  • March 15, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Not tied to physical domain controller. We needed to be able to globally control devices that are always in the field.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime tech support can take much longer to resolve problems than we can afford.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized device management across global moving devices.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use the trial period to do a test integration.
