Pretty good usability and functionality.

What do you like best about the product?
There's a lot of options of what to configure, by that I mean devices, users, groups, options for SSO, commands and so on. The documentation is pretty well maintained too, so configuring and implementing new features for our use case has been great and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interfaces has a lot of things kind of hidden behind buttons that I consider not necessary. For example, when checking devices inside a device group the need to check "show bound Devices" is redundant an unnecessary, by default should show the added devices and then if I want to select a new one I should uncheck the box and search for that one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing the increasing amount of users and devices in our company, centralizing users for SSO in out internal apps and security compliance.

The unified platform is a game-changer for a remote team

  • August 11, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We're a global, fully-remote company, and before JumpCloud, managing user identities, devices (Windows, Mac, Linux), and access was a nightmare. The fact that I can handle all of this from one single, cloud-based console is the biggest win. It's truly a "single pane of glass" for our entire fleet of devices and users, regardless of where they are in the world.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the core functionality is easy to get a handle on, some of the more advanced scripting and policy configurations can take some time to master. The documentation is good, but it can be a bit of a rabbit hole for a new admin trying to implement a complex policy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The time saved on manual tasks like user provisioning, device setup, and troubleshooting has allowed me to focus on more strategic initiatives. The remote command functionality, in particular, is a lifesaver for resolving issues on user devices without needing to interrupt their workflow with a lengthy support session.

Jumpcloud

  • August 11, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that JumpCloud provides a unified platform for identity, access, and device management without the need for on-premises infrastructure. Its cloud-based directory services make it easy to manage users, devices, and security policies from anywhere, and the integrations with SSO, MFA, and MDM streamline administration while improving security. The interface is intuitive, reporting is clear, and automation capabilities save significant time for IT operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
While JumpCloud is powerful and flexible, certain advanced configurations can feel limited compared to traditional on-prem directory services. Some reporting and granular policy controls could be more robust, and occasional UI lag when managing large device/user groups can slow workflows. Enhanced documentation and faster support response times for complex issues would further improve the experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud has streamlined identity and access management by consolidating user authentication, device management, and security policies into a single cloud-based platform. It eliminates the need for on-prem directory servers, simplifies onboarding and offboarding, and ensures secure access with SSO and MFA across all applications. This has improved security posture, reduced administrative overhead, and enabled our IT team to manage users and devices remotely, which is critical for supporting a distributed workforce."

Best equivalent to AD for SME's or big companies

  • August 11, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's AD and user management is an added advantage to organizations who cannot afford Azure AD. It user management comes with a offering that reduces IT support teams to perform better. I would recommend SME's who are intrested in securing their endpoints with AD feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Commercial could have been lesser for a SME's other than that there are no negatives.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to solve the user authentication on the endpoints which benifitted the compliance, moreover the UEM and Remote support has been great help for our IT Support team. Patching has been great across multiple operating systems.

Jumpcloud IDAM solution

  • August 11, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud provides a centralized, cloud-based identity and device management platform that eliminates the need for multiple on-premises systems. I appreciate how it simplifies user lifecycle management, enables secure Single Sign-On (SSO) across various applications, and supports Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA/2FA) for enhanced security.
The cross-platform support (Windows, macOS, Linux) and remote device management capabilities make it ideal for managing a distributed workforce. Additionally, the user-friendly interface and API integrations help streamline administrative tasks, saving both time and effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing as of on dislike jumpcloud is improved lot
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud has replaced multiple disconnected systems by providing a single, cloud-based platform for identity management, device management, and secure access control. It addresses the challenges of:

Managing user accounts across multiple platforms without on-premises Active Directory.

Enforcing consistent security policies such as MFA/2FA and password complexity rules.

Provisioning and deprovisioning users quickly during onboarding and offboarding.

Managing devices remotely for both in-office and remote employees.

Nice expiriance

  • August 11, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Cross-platform flexibility – You’re not locked into one OS or vendor. It works well for hybrid environments.

Integrated device and identity management – You can handle authentication, device policies, and user access from the same console.
What do you dislike about the product?
Policy coverage gaps – While it’s cross-platform, some OS-specific settings (especially for macOS and Linux) may be less comprehensive than native tools.

Occasional sync delays – Changes to accounts, groups, or policies may not apply instantly across devices, which can frustrate troubleshooting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote management challenges → Cloud-first approach removes the need for on-prem AD or VPN for basic access and device control.
Slow onboarding/offboarding → Automated user provisioning and deprovisioning across multiple services.
Scalability → Easy to add users, devices, and integrations without major reconfiguration.
