Nice and innovative tool

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud helps to manage our assets in many ways! It supports a wide variety of roles, permissions, deploy new software remotely, integrate with our identity access management process and, best of all, works on Windows, Linux and OSX. Considering that we work on a remote company, JumpCloud does help us a lot to manage and secure our assets.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few Linux distros (like Arch based ones) that aren't supported by JumpCloud. Another issue is that sometimes with a few users, the tool goes out of sync. Since we are a remote company, we have to connect on the computer to resync it, which causes a lot of trouble when it happens.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Now we can properly manage remotely our inventory, secure our endpoints with some roles, manage the identity of the endpoint itself and integrate with a lot of tools and also, deploy remotely new software and updates.

Good fit for global business

What do you like best about the product?
Not tied to physical domain controller. We needed to be able to globally control devices that are always in the field.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime tech support can take much longer to resolve problems than we can afford.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized device management across global moving devices.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use the trial period to do a test integration.

One-stop shop for on-boarding and off-boarding users in the organization.

What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud provides a one stop location for manage so many areas of security for our endpoints. Being fully remote we don't, we don't have some of the tools other organizations have on premise. JumpCloud helps us fix that problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
Right now there are not many things to dislike about JumpCloud. They are extremely receptive to feedback, and have developed multiple features based on questions and feedback that we have given.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud allows us to combine an MDM, cloud directory, Identity and Device management, and single sign on all into one platform. We have been able to solve many of our security issues with one system vs. leveraging multiple systems that become clunky with concerns of hindering each other.

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to swap the PC assigned to the user, and also change the policies on the PC
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of backwards password syncing. When resetting a password remotely using an AD LDAP account, it becomes a bit cumbersome and failure-prone
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used it to enable our employees to work remote and login to their computer using their existing AD credentials, maintaining the user experience they already know

Great SSO Platform

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud is a really efficient and easy to set up directory platform. It securely connects user identities to their systems, applications, data, and networks. We love it, as do our clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are features that I would like, that are currently not there. However, the JumpCloud team seem to take on board suggestions, and are frequently adding to the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to quickly add users to multiple services in an instant saves us a huge amount of time. An onboarding that previously took hours, takes a couple of minutes.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that's really easy to authenticate with the service and makes the management of your devices really smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the service gets interpreted but the JumpCloud teams get it resolved quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing new and existing devices within my organization, makes it an easy task and can really improve the quality of remote work.

What do you like best about the product?
One central point to manage all users and to some extent devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
Do not like installing yet another agent on every machine, however; the value proposition in terms of features seems to make it worth while. Only thing missing for us is 2FA on LDAP but apparently that is coming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security was inconsistent and spread across many different services and applications. Now it's centralized and makes onboarding/offboarding almost trivial. The directory insights are also extremely valuable

Up and running in minutes

What do you like best about the product?
I came into the product cold, knowing nothing about JumpCloud other than they offered a free SAML authentication service. I was up and running in less than half an hour.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found anything I disliked about the service so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I had a very limited use case - I was running a proof of concept for SAML authentication, and needed a quick, easy, and free IdP. JumpCloud fulfilled all my expectations.
