What do you like best about the product?

What do you dislike about the product?
the price, but it's worth it............
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The MDM solution for Apple, SSO of applications
Great service and Product
What do you like best about the product?
I use this mostly for Mac OS devices. It has been a very stable product and easy to manage users and monitor devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it takes a while for the client to show up in the list of managed machines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simplification of user accounts and machines monitoring on Mac OS.
Easy setup and onboarding of the organization
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the fact that users can onboard themselves and the process is quite easy. Applying rules and policies is also quite easy, just make sure you test before you deploy to the production environment. Some policies tend to mess up, but that could happen with a normal AD as well, so no issues for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
The provided guides regarding SSO are sometimes a bit misleading, or outdated. I often need to contact the customer success team or the support team in order to get some SSOs up and running. I understand that it is hard to keep up with all applications and changes, but once an application is supported by JumpCloud natively, I expect the setup to take 10 minutes not an hour. The help I usually get is good, but taht takes additional time as JumpCloud is in a very different time zone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security problems regarding passwords and password policy. Also, JumpCloud basically solves all the problems with deploying and enforcing policies within an organization (at least in our case). JumpCloud helps you to enforce policies on devices and on platforms as well. I also like the fact that you can control what privileges do users have on their devices on the go.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you ask all the questions you have beforehand, and that JumpCloud fits your use case. There are still a couple of features missing from JumpCloud that would make it an all-in-one solution, but overall it is a good platform to manage your infrastructure.
Managed Service Security Provider
What do you like best about the product?
Azure AD integration / Office 365 Integration for SSO, able to manage Endpoints remote to support work from home.
What do you dislike about the product?
No dislikes as such may be they need to provide better password vault and Direct SSH integration to connect to servers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Multiple AWS Connector for our SOC to connect to multiple customers using Azure AD SSO
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Excellent Product and easy to manage SSO for multiple teams and application, granular permissions add lot of value.
Easy to use cloud identity
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use interface, technical support is very responsive and the ability to do cloud authentication to on Prem stuff is just wonderful. They have enhanced to include some MDM and conditional access which is great
What do you dislike about the product?
1) unable to input IP ranges for Cloud RADIUS
2) Lack of direct integration with Duo for MFA - only TOTP supported
3) enabling MFA for users is not as seamless, users need to reset the password and then get a chance to enrol for MFA
2) Lack of direct integration with Duo for MFA - only TOTP supported

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lack of on Prem AD and looking for a cloud based Radius and LDAP for a test lab
Managed to configure it to integrate with Duo for MFA into different products and also for Meraki Wireless 802.1x not able to do it for the splash page.

Helpful, modern SSO solution
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud works well with our Unifi RADIUS solution. SCIM support in addition to SAML is leading edge.
What do you dislike about the product?
Licensing Cost for 501c3 organization of 400+ is not trivial
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps combat shadow IT concerns, improves security. We didn't forecast just how much having a quality SSO really does reduce the number of pwd reset tickets.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're evaluating tools like Okta, JumpCloud deserves consideration

Awesome SSO product
What do you like best about the product?
Multiple options to integrate to the SSO

Lack of UI for auditing and reviewing logins, attempts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Single place to manage user lifecycle
A fully featured, flexible open standards Identity-as-a-service provider for the 21st century
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud offers a great deal of features and flexibility - from standard LDAP compliance which integrates with just about everything I can throw at it, to real endpoint management which includes all major operating systems including macOS which is certainly a platform that gets overlooked when it comes to centralized ID management.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new pricing model, whilst necessary, is far more aggressive than when I started using the service, and I am finding it harder to recommend to many of my smaller clients at this pricing model. I have also found the Windows services for account and password synchronization to be highly unreliable, and they often fail to start with the Windows Server (or stop working). I have raised this with JumpCloud but because I'm on their free plan, they have ignored the issue even though I have raised something that could impact their paid customers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized ID management for a multitude of systems without requiring the heavy lifting and complexity of proprietary systems such as Azure AD. I have loved the fact that I can get it to integrate well with pfSense, NextCloud, Gitea and a whole variety of open source systems which otherwise would require an ever expanding array of indiviual logins. The fact that I can integrate it with my on-premise Active Directory is a huge bonus, as I can sync passwords from this and thus achieve a sense of SSO with my AD infrastrcture without the need for true AD integration, or having to route sensitive AD traffic across the public internet.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
JumpCloud is without a doubt a great and complete product and offers the feature set that I believe many businesses, especially those running open source platforms, require in the 21st century. It is simply and easy to administer and manage, and offers great integration for operating systems such as macOS which often get overlooked. The free tier makes it easy to evaluate and find out if it's the right thing for your business, and I highly recommend it for this reason.
Great for small or remote businesses
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of deployment and administration of the tool. It’s super easy for administrators to roll out, our users to self-enroll with a little direction. Once deployed it’s very simple to administer, and no retraining needed by the users.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration (and de-integration) with existing directories leaves much to be desired on the administrative side of things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unified credentials across multiple devices and location, including remote users. JumpCloud works great for that, and the self serve password reset is great as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try, free trial for a small amount of users is a great way to go.
