Adding Multifactor to VPN
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud was the perfect fit for our clients that needed to add Multifactor to their VPN solution without having to add a server in their environment!!!
What do you dislike about the product?
While our implementation is not exactly how Jumpcloud wants to be used, we found it perfect for what we needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our clients needed to protect their VPN access with multifactor, so we integrated Jumpclouds radius server to their environment to provide this service.

Ability to work with many ADs, its easy to set up and import.

Pricing can be more competitive and flexiable.

Managing IdPs
It's a decent online ID provider and MDM service, reasonably priced
What do you like best about the product?
It does what it sets out to do. It's not the most full featured in any given area - you could get better services if you used multiple vendors independently - but there aren't many that handle everything in one pane of glass. It's pretty easy to use - the console is fairly intuitive. The knowledge base could do with some updating, but the support ticketing system responds very quickly. The pricing is reasonable for all the functionality it gives. It was simple to integrate with Google Workspaces and LDAPS was easy to set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
The knowledge base pages are fairly uninformative. There isn't a test area to see what the effect of global changes would be - you're doing it live, which is a bit fraught with peril.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed an ID provider with SSO and an MDM setup at a reasonable price. It's fulfilled that brief quite well.

A tool that is extremely flexible and productive for managing your assets users and environment, great customer service team, in total extremely satisfied

To be honest nothing they always deliver in the finest way

Great Access Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
In less than a couple of weeks we had the tool fully functional and working. You can chat with support instantly and also they make sure you are all set before closing your issues.

Sometimes their APIs change but documentation don't, we have struggled with this lately.

Everything related to User, Access and Device Management which is difficult to find in a single tool.

JumpCloud effectively solves several critical problems in our organization. By integrating MDM (Mobile Device Management), IAM (Identity and Access Management), and user provisioning and governance into a single platform, it streamlines the management of user identities, devices, and access control. This not only enhances security but also improves efficiency and reduces the administrative overhead, ultimately benefiting our organization by ensuring smoother operations, better compliance, and reduced IT complexity.

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud provides an easy to use interface to quickly build out your directory and connected services. SaaS usage has exploded since the pandemic which presents a challenge for enterprises to centralize authentication and user management. JumpCloud provides a deep catalogue of pre-built SaaS integrations that takes minutes to enable and connect to your chosen SaaS product. In the event there are no pre-built integrations, you can easily specify SSO URL, Generate x509 certificates, define attributes and build your own connection.
JumpCloud also makes device management and enrollment easy with their MDM and single dashboard view to easily gain visibility into your endpoint fleet. It's easy to support Mac, Windows and Linux. Compared to your typical MicroSoft Active Directory on-prem or Azure AD service, JumpCloud offers much more competitive pricing which can better suit small and medium sized business.

What do you dislike about the product?
The search bar can be refined when looking for assets, be it a device or a user. It struggles with names that are less than 4 characters and will show results that don't match at all. More filtering options would be appreciated. An overhaul of the built-in support portal from a UI/UX would be another improvement.

JumpCloud enables us as an all Cloud company to manage our identity, endpoint assets, SSO, MDM and privledged access all from one centralized solution.
Great product with excellent support
What do you like best about the product?
Since switching our services over to JumpCloud we have had higher user satisfaction and greater ease of use. JumpCloud was easy to integrate and has a great customer sucess team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing is higher than other products but has been offset by functionality.

Our company wanted to move away from on-prem directory services, JumpCloud helped solve that problem.
