Intuitive interface.
Good site browsing experience.
Technical documentation for integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
It still has few native integrations with different security vendors.

It allows us to apply 2FA to applications that do not have it natively.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy set up for onboarding new machines and users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Patching as a paid add on. I feel like that should be included in the price.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Password policy for end points. MDM solution. I use other tools for remote management.

Good for cross platform management with new features added regularly

  • March 09, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to manage Windows, Mac, iOS, and Linux is very helpful. It is easy to use and support has been responsive. I also like that new features are constantly being added.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not as feature-rich as JAMF. Being that it is a newer service most vendors are unfamiliar with it and their documentation is specific to JAMF. I would also like a live terminal connection to devices to be able to run commands on the device without the need for building a command to execute.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now have one pane of glass to manage both Windows and Apple devices. This has also helped streamline our on-boarding off-boarding process with the use of MDM and the ability to lock devices and suspend user accounts all in one place.

JumpCloud is surprisinly good

  • March 09, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The integration with a lot of solutions in the market makes JumpCloud something very easy to use. We don't need to change our stack and technologies: JumpCloud just has it this integration already done.
The numerous connectors available and the documentation makes the whole experience very fast to start from zero to hero.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some connectors need to be revised and some documentation could aware of some possible problems or consequences in use integration, like the Google Workspace one that already forces every user on Google platform to already have an account on JumpCloud. In our specific use case, we started with a few users to understand how it works, and all other users dropped out of their Gmail accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is helping and fixing two major problems that we had: concentrating users in one platform avoiding the need to create the same user on different platforms and creating a new layer of security, that makes it simple to onboard and offboard new users. Also, we can set and force MFA, and passwords with good complexity and rotation of this.

JumpCloud is a great alternative to Active Directory and add greater security to any network

  • March 09, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
2 Factor authentication to the desktop and a more secure replacement for Active Directory.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricepoint for a school district is higher than we would like but they said that they might be able to give us a discount.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This product is going to help us do single sign-on and multi-factor authentication for a diverse MAC and PC environment.

Competent UI Makes Management Easy

  • March 09, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
When you use Active Directory or other platforms it's easy to lose track of who you placed where and in what group. Jumpclouds UI is simple, pleasing to look at, and intuitive. It makes a world of difference to have a UI that makes itself comprehensible. Managing my devices has never been easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jumpcloud is great but it is not perfect. There are times when it has created issues on both our user and administrative accounts. However, I would take into consideration two things: First that they have always kept open communication about these issues and resolved them, and Second, Azure and Active Directory are a little more than 10 years ahead of them. Given time, Jumpcloud will be a strong competitor if it isn't already.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had an issue that would restrict the administrator's account with the same parameters that we set for the user. However, we were able to work around it and have not encountered the issue since then.

Jumpcloud is a good cloud directory platform

  • March 09, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud makes it possible to have people work all over and be managed by a small team
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it had more functionality, like remote desktop, third party patching
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We do not have to have Azure AD, or another directory

Ease of access and management

  • March 09, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud makes it so easy to manage all of your users, sync with active directory, and provision anything you might need to workstations. Takes all of the guess work out of administration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes changes in JumpCloud (password, user, etc.) can take a bit of time to apply; sometimes takes 2 restarts of the workstation in order for the changes to register. Other than that, great piece of software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud keeps all of my users centralized and makes ease of access a breeze. No longer do I need to go into the server to add a guest user - I can do that straight from the dashboard.
