Built on a solid foundation
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate JumpCloud's transparency and reliability. Users can quickly become adept in its use due to its straightforward setup and user management processes. With every new feature launch, they commit to improving the system's dependability, making them stand out from its competitors. Jumpcloud provides detailed tutorials for learning how to use various features or getting started right away, and their customer service team is persistently responsive when you need additional assistance, which is helpful if you're a new Jumpcloud user.
What do you dislike about the product?
When attempting to launch JumpCloud, I encountered several issues. The configuration and settings, to my mind, are complicated, rendering implementation more difficult than needed. Besides, the platform's user reporting characteristics could use some revamping. A workflow automation system is not always reliable because errands are not always completed punctually or shifted between departments efficiently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud helps us manage our PCs more efficiently by providing device management, policy management and group creation capabilities that replace the need for Active Directory.

What do you like best about the product?
It provides centralised user management and authentication for many IT resources, including servers, laptops, desktops, and cloud-based applications. It allows organisations to manage and control user access to their systems and applications from a single console, regardless of the operating system or platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have some dislikes about the Device Based Access Control policy, it is one of the best security features provided by Jumpcloud, but sometimes it doesn't work as expected, which leads to removing the policy from use.

JumpCloud helps solve the problem of managing user identities and access across multiple IT resources in a modern, cloud-based environment. As organisations increasingly adopt cloud services, remote work, and bring-your-own-device (BYOD) policies, the traditional on-premises directory services, such as Microsoft Active Directory, are becoming less effective. JumpCloud provides a cloud-based directory service enabling organisations to manage user identities and access various platforms, including Windows, Mac, Linux, and cloud applications, from a single console.

What do you dislike about the product?
I was unaware that when erasing an Apple device, it automatically removes the Apple ID and disables Find My Friends. If this is already in place, I apologize for my lack of knowledge.

Jumpcloud does not have so many problems and issues as Microsoft services. Because with the Microsoft issues happened very often.

the reis no backup/restore option - to restore some last changes or lost commands.

Easy to use and has a lot of resources to learn from.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was a bit time consuming to find both mac and windows agents so IMO that should be more ready to go.

The ability to be Platform independent and have an eco system designed about Device Management and Security across your organization
What do you dislike about the product?
You need to have the expertize within your team to be able to fully take advantage of Jumpcloud. It is not as common yet and needs to have its own certification (same as Cisco has on CCNA or Microsoft on MCP)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As we are in a transition from Start up to Scale up it helps us stay platform independent. It helps us no matter which direction we decide to go with our Enterprise Architecture
