Unified Management with Strong Security Features
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate that JumpCloud natively supports Windows, macOS, and Linux, all within a single console. The zero trust model that JumpCloud employs is fantastic, effectively bridging gaps with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and endpoint management without involving third parties. The platform works particularly well for Cloud deployment, which is crucial for us. I find the Single Sign-On (SSO) and SAML support to be very robust, with a wide range of supported applications. The simplicity of deploying JumpCloud as an Admin without sacrificing power is another highlight. The easy deployment process, especially with the USB option, was a huge advantage as it allowed us to get online before our target deadline. I also value the unified identity and device management capabilities that facilitate seamless operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've noticed that some macOS app deployments are not being successfully implemented, and it seems there may be a need for advanced endpoint controls on macOS. Also, more pre-built integrations could help reduce the administrative workload. It would be beneficial to have more conditional access limitations, and improving reporting and visibility would be great. For instance, having granular location detection across all devices would be a valuable feature. The product could benefit from more pre-built configurations and stronger reporting capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud hardens our security controls, manages and unifies identities across systems, and centralizes logging and analytics for audits.
Best MDM Solution
What do you like best about the product?
After trying numerous MDM solutions for my Apple devices, JumpCloud has stood out as the most comprehensive and reliable option I’ve used. It truly caters to your needs—regardless of your infrastructure’s focus—and surpasses the limitations I’ve encountered with other providers.
One of the standout features is the ability to manage devices in real time through its remote tool. The depth of insights it provides, especially around device security and potential vulnerabilities, has been invaluable. I also appreciate the capability to push remote commands with root privileges—an essential function that enhances control and responsiveness.
Whether you’re managing a single device or an entire fleet, JumpCloud scales beautifully. It offers flexible licensing, from personal use to small business and enterprise-level packages—all at a fair price point. It’s a powerful, versatile platform that meets the needs of modern IT infrastructure.

What do you dislike about the product?
JumpCloud provides a solid foundation for identity and device management, offering a user-friendly interface and a wide range of integrations that make it a strong choice for organizations looking to streamline IT operations. The platform is reliable, and its zero-trust approach aligns well with modern security needs.
That said, there are a few areas where JumpCloud could further enhance its offering:
Policy Enforcement Consistency: Occasionally, certain MDM policies or configurations may not apply seamlessly across all devices, requiring manual troubleshooting. Improved consistency and better visibility into policy deployment status would be valuable.
Advanced Reporting & Analytics: While the platform offers standard reporting, more granular, customizable analytics would help admins gain deeper insights into device compliance and security posture.
Mobile MDM Enhancements: The mobile device management features are functional but could benefit from expanded capabilities and improved reliability, particularly around policy persistence and error handling during installation.
Faster Support Escalation: While support is responsive, complex cases sometimes take longer to resolve than expected. A clearer escalation path and more proactive communication would improve the experience.
Overall, JumpCloud is a powerful tool with a strong vision for modern IT management. With improvements in policy reliability, mobile support, and advanced analytics, it has the potential to become an even more indispensable solution for growing organizations.

JumpCloud helps me manage and secure my company’s devices and accounts in one centralized platform. As the sole administrator, it gives me the tools to enforce MFA, set security policies, and maintain compliance standards without needing multiple complex solutions. It saves me time, reduces the risk of misconfigurations, and ensures my company meets necessary security requirements with confidence.

It does seem like some items (Password manager) are rolled out before being completely functional. We have had a lot of frustration from our users with the adoption of JC password manager, but JC is continuing to update this tool and take our concerns into account.

Being able to manage our machines, troubleshoot them, and deploy our applications.
Ditch Active Directory

Easy to use, works awesome and it's not active directory which is a plus. It checks many of the boxes we need for our security policies and I am excited to see it check ALL the boxes at some point.

How JumpCloud help us to secure our organization
What do you like best about the product?
I like the best about JumpCloud the way it allows us to interact with the devices and manage our onboarding and offboarding process. It allows us to deliver the devices keeping all the data in them safe.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing that i dislike about JumpCloud is that it doesn't have a way to autocreate an admin user on Mac/Windows/Linux to have the ownership of the device. We had to create some workarounds, but for example, for Mac it doesn't work and it's a mess to wipe the device on an offboarding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I mentioned before, it is solving us the interaction with users and keeping the devices safe on our onboardings and offboardings. Moreover, it allows us to keep our devices up to date on security patches

Streamlined IT Management with JumpCloud's Unified Platform
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud has revolutionized our IT operations by replacing a fragmented setup of Microsoft Active Directory and manual processes with a unified, cloud-based directory platform on a daily basis. Its intuitive interface simplifies managing user identities, devices, and access across Windows, macOS, and Linux from a single console. The seamless integration with Microsoft Entra ID stands out, enabling effortless user account synchronization, policy enforcement, and streamlined Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). These features have enhanced security, reduced password-related issues, and saved our team significant time compared to previous workflows. JumpCloud’s scalability, robust device management, and responsive customer support make it ideal for our growing organization. Setup was smooth, with knowledgeable support addressing queries promptly.
What do you dislike about the product?
While JumpCloud is feature-rich, the pricing can feel steep for smaller organizations as we scale and add advanced features. However, these are minor drawbacks, and JumpCloud’s team seems proactive about addressing feedback and rolling out updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud addresses critical IT challenges through its Unified Endpoint Management (UEM), Security Compliance, Password Policy Enforcement, and Identity and Access Management (IAM) capabilities. Previously, our team struggled with managing disparate devices and user identities across Windows, macOS, and Linux using Microsoft Active Directory and manual processes, leading to inefficiencies and security gaps. JumpCloud’s UEM consolidates device management into a single platform, allowing us to enforce consistent policies, monitor compliance, and deploy updates effortlessly, saving hours of administrative work weekly. Its Security Compliance features, integrated with Microsoft Entra ID, ensure adherence to industry standards by automating audits and enforcing robust access controls, reducing our risk of breaches. Password Policy Enforcement has eliminated weak passwords and simplified user authentication with SSO and MFA. The IAM functionality streamlines user provisioning and deprovisioning, ensuring secure and timely access for employees while integrating seamlessly with Entra ID for synchronized identity management. These solutions have boosted our team’s productivity, strengthened our security posture, and enabled scalable IT management as our organization grows.
