Easy Mode
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to get most systems setup on Jumpcloud. It helps to keep systems and users organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really can't think of anything proper to put here. We have two accounts that randomly get locked every once in a while, but this might actually be a brute force attack on that system. This is probably not really a Jumpcloud problem and it's a very minor inconvenience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a situation where the former administrator did not let us know all of the login info for critical systems before he left. We were able to get into these systems with Jumpcloud.

Excellent Cloud Directory Service for simple user and device management.
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to run remote commands and manage Macs. Software deployment and management for PCs via Chocolatey. MDM and SSO capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sorting options in command results. Would like more options. Also, would like a run once command menu from a device for one time scripts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Management of Macs. Software update management and deployment. Security policy enforcement. No longer need AD and on-premise servers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out! JumpCloud is free for up to 10 users.
Easy way to manage the users from wherever you are!!!
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud is a very good product to Manage Macs computers without getting stressed. Also I heard that soon JumpCloud will become MDM this is great!!!
What do you dislike about the product?
Few things have to be improved like;
- More Windows policies, exactly Windows security policies would be handy for any System Admin used to manage Windows machine in Active Directory.
- More Apple policies
- The option to disable the users rather than delete when left for certain time.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have migrated all Macs from Active Directory to JumpCloud from now very easy to manage Apple.
All in one solution for modern IT
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that it supports all major platforms, and provides practical, easy to use solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because the product is relatively new and it supports so many platforms, there aren't as many options, policies, etc for each platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to bind all of our Macs and PCs to 1 cloud based LDAP server. Not only that but even our Linux servers are now bound to the same directory. It has improved our security and user management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is definitely a great tool for those looking to spend more time improving IT infrastructure and less time maintaining outdated Directory solutions.
Great SSO solution for small/mid sized companies
What do you like best about the product?
RADIUS server, Easy to add SSO apps., clean UI.
What do you dislike about the product?
Filevault and Mac system MFA authentication need improvement

SSO to many of our apps. Systems control

Its really siumple nice app that will do the Job
Great Compromise for AD averse large business/small enterprise
What do you like best about the product?
Open source based, fairly complete solution. Adequate for passing SOX compliance audit in year one in our case.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of admin ui for log analysis, accessible by API only. Still maturing....had to write our own account unlock tool leveraging their API until they released that feature earlier this year. Missing Logging was almost a showstopper for us. REST API's are fairly robust so nothing to fear if you can write your own

SOX Compliant policy control, SSO, RADIUS, GSuite integration and user account management.

Simplistic Cloud AD
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to manage my users from any location. Ease of installation and integration. Powerful API
What do you dislike about the product?
With it being in progress of development some tools (the AD Read/Write Bridge) being unavailable made it difficult to develop some business practices
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was used to antiquated Active Directory tools, but having a cloud resource that integrates everything I could need into one tool that is accessible from any location lowers my overhead and allows me to focus on higher level projects.
JumpCloud is an awesome alternative to MS AD
What do you like best about the product?
No Infrastructure to purchase, manage, or maintain.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more features built into enabling 3rd party / SSO integration with existing services/api's, etc. SSO integration exists but often it seems like it requires a fair bit of work to enable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It enables us to securely authenticate and manage users and end user devices.
AD as a Service done easy
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud enables managing Windows, Mac OS and Linux on our domain easily and with a single agent install
What do you dislike about the product?
there are still some things that are not intuitive, and some bugs that need to be worked out (a known issue with chromium driver for example) but whenever I've contacted Jumpcloud support they are working on fixing them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
biggest issue is a multi device/environment domain controlled in one place, just amazing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
just do it, it will make your life easier for day to day running
Easy to deployment of Windows, Mac machines
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to set up Windows and Mac machines with local accounts; configuring software, file shares, and printers; and then overlaying Jumpcloud at the conclusion of setup, using a matching user alias. This allows the user to log on with his/her machine with a secure/private password. I then transmit the user's account to other devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
The SSO catalog is still limited. However we plan to request additional applications.

We're able to easily manage access to file servers on 3 continents.
