" Easy to Use and Out of the Box Platform"
What do you like best about the product?
I loved that we can enforce TOTP with a click of a button. Their guides gave me a proper path to configure certain tasks. The option to migrate accounts and authentication to the cloud for clients who do not have or have restricted directory services is a huge win-win in Jumpcloud. They also provide a certification through which you can excel in your skills in the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I understand why there is no customer service for the free licenses, but I don't like it, because there should be a way to get help in tough times. Onboarding new office personnel and familiarising them with the software might be challenging. The "Commands" pane might use some tweaking when it comes to managing scripts. Managing a large number of files at once, or making bulk adjustments, for example, might be tough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is utilized by everyone in the company. We needed a centralized, easy single sign-on solution with a user-friendly interface. As our company is a startup so we can afford it over Microsoft Azure Active Directory as it charges $6 per user/ month which is a big relief. It has ID management Access control which helps a lot in our startup
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is very convenient to use so go ahead and use it
Jump cloud has all the platforms in one software like MAC , Windows , Linux to control the devices
What do you like best about the product?
The feature I find most appealing is its ability to unify various devices under a single software, making device management and control effortless and productive. Integrating Android devices would be an added benefit, making it more practical to manage devices across a single platform within an organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jump Cloud has few drawbacks, and one of them is the initial difficulty in setting up devices, especially when dealing with a large number of devices such as 5000. However, Jump Cloud does provide support to help overcome this challenge whenever needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We efficiently and effectively manage our devices from the Jump Cloud. Now we can push apps, control our devices and manage inventory easily.
We can manage users from the active directory but right now we are more focused to manage apps and inventory.

JumpCloud is a great platform for owners who would like to manage company device!
What do you like best about the product?
Device management feature is very helpful and easy to setup. The Single-Sign-On implementation is easy enough that me without past experience would be able to do it.
What do you dislike about the product?
SSO is one of the big feature that I need. I thought implementing it would be as easy as connecting the service via GUI, I quickly realize that the SSO feature on JumpCloud only includes the directory, not the login service. I might be wrong here, but I have set up JumpCloud SSO with other software combined afterward without too much trouble. I just hope that JumpCloud could offer more than just a directory service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote device management. It is very beneficial for me as my company doesn't require employees to come back to the office. I distribute them a tablet or laptop if they need it, and managing them on JumpCloud is very useful and convenient.
Solid cloud IDM with all requisite enterprise features
What do you like best about the product?
A feature rich platform that just works as plug-n-play mode
What do you dislike about the product?
AWS compatibility is cumbersome and third party patch management needs to be introduced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A cloud IDM that just works and performs modern device management with ease. A easy to use GUI console with plenty of help articles to suceed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Better compatibility with BYOD devices, Apple ID integration, Windows Hello for Business, etc.

That it's cost-effective and an easily scalable cloud directory as a service
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to load in GPO templates that are available with on-prem directory services; the registry option works but it could be easier
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlined software deployments, GPO settings, and quick system configurations for new devices/users. Time saved is a huge benefit.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a cloud directory service and have no on-prem servers, JumpCloud is the solution for you. Give it a try, I guarantee you will not be disappointed. I have deployed JumpCloud to several organizations with ease, and prior to doing so, I researched other cloud DaaS providers and JumpCloud's knowledge of what companies need out of a cloud DaaS is met and continually exceeds with the improvements they continue to make. I only foresee their solution getting better as time goes on. It is an all-in-one solution for any company trying to increase security and/or manage devices in this hybrid work environment most companies have moved towards since the pandemic.
JumpCloud makes common needs trivial, and complex things possible.
What do you like best about the product?
If you have a fleet of computers that you're responsible for, JumpCloud makes it easy to keep track of all of them, and their users, and to apply helpful settings that enhance security. Their cloud-directory service also integrates into scores of cloud-based software providers, making it easy to on-board and off-board your staff from many services at once, and to make sure that their single set of credentials allow them access to the services you specify. If it's important to your organization, you can enhance security via additional factors, too. Highly recommended for small businesses.
What do you dislike about the product?
I recommend taking the time to meet with a product representative from JumpCloud to make sure you understand which of their services you truly need. Their product tiers are easy to find on their website, but it's not always obvious which one might apply to your needs. A more user-focused approach of "I'm using the following services (then check the boxes next to the SaaS vendors you're interested in integrating), and additionally I want to be able to (more checkboxes with benefits the JumpCloud features provide), so my up-front investment is $X, and my monthlies are $Y" would be more intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many of my clients are small businesses with fewer than 30 employees and no dedicated IT department. Simple things like fleet inventory, device assignments, and SaaS accounts for email, productivity applications, project-management tools, etc. are often organically deployed and lack a central consistent dashboard. This makes tracking licenses a chore, and on-boarding/off-boarding labor intensive. JumpCloud untangles this chaos and happily plugs itself into all of the SaaS vendors to make life easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's very easy to get started, and JumpCloud is very generous with its free tier of service. The best way to learn about the service is to give it a try, and the JumpCloud folks are very helpful and friendly.
