Decent but not the best
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of management for devices is great. The setup is easy and a central place to manage all devices is acceptable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of reporting to be compliant with audits, the clunky interface, and how most of the work you need to get done needs to be done with command runners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to use SSO for all applications is the main benefit.
Replaced JAMF after being our main windows software!
What do you like best about the product?
The remote access for troubleshooting with users is a very good feature. Linking up with not only MS but Google to have user integration is a HUGE plus. Very easy to setup, even if you install the "hard way" like we did. I've only had a few run ins with customer support but they were always helpful and quick to reply. Allowing our machines to be assigned easily and removed easily when we onboard or offboard an employee has been a big plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like the new design! PLEASE KEEP IT ENABLED
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud makes it easy to remotely help users in different states or countries. And having policies for updates helps us stay in compliance with our certifications.
SSO Integration API Worked, But UI Experience Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud provides a flexible and developer-friendly API for creating SSO applications. The documentation is clear, and the setup process for SSO integrations was relatively smooth from an API perspective. It integrates well with identity providers and simplifies federation configuration.
What do you dislike about the product?
After successfully creating SSO applications using the API, the JumpCloud UI failed to list the newly created applications, which caused confusion and delayed testing. This mismatch between API functionality and UI behavior made it difficult to verify and manage configurations visually. Better alignment between backend changes and frontend visibility is needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud centralizes identity and access management, helping us securely manage user access across multiple applications. By enabling SSO and federated authentication, it reduces the overhead of maintaining separate credentials, improves security, and streamlines onboarding and offboarding for internal engineers.
Ditch Active Directory
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, works awesome and it's not active directory which is a plus. It checks many of the boxes we need for our security policies and I am excited to see it check ALL the boxes at some point.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing is a little steep for SMB and support is a little slow to respond to inquiries.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud helps us keep our systems secure and compliant without a lot of extra overhead. It gives us one place to manage all our users, enforce MFA and strong passwords, and make sure devices follow our security policies. The reporting and access controls make it much easier to prepare for SOC 2 and ISO 27001 audits, saving us time and reducing mistakes. Overall, it keeps our access management organized and helps us meet compliance requirements efficiently.
Very secure product; easy to use and provides efficiencies
What do you like best about the product?
It feels very secure, both protect and the password manager. Sharing passwords with teams is easy and saving your own passwords is a time saver. In addition, using a single sign on through jump cloud is great. It also protects when signing into new devices. Very easy to implement and feels natural to use daily
What do you dislike about the product?
There can be a loophole when trying to set up a new device if you use the MFA app through JC. Otherwise, no problems
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Password management, remote work environment tech solutions, security
My review and jumpcloud

How simple it is to log in and secure computers remotely
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be easier to set rules on Windows it would be nice
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unified password management I would have been very hard for me to do this without jumpcloud
Cool experience filled with user friendly interface
What do you like best about the product?
For every level of needs, all what you need for managing cloud services
What do you dislike about the product?
A growing service company that needs just a few more point of structure
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralizing all users services access
Modern Remote Management Without Active Directory
What do you like best about the product?
t allows centralized control of security policies, devices, and user access (including SSO) from the cloud—no domain controller needed. Great for remote and hybrid environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lacks broader policy customization; often requires additional scripting to cover specific use cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
t solves governance challenges by centralizing user and device management. It also helps reduce costs by eliminating the need for on-prem infrastructure and improves inventory control with real-time visibility of all endpoints.
How JumpCloud help us to secure our organization
What do you like best about the product?
I like the best about JumpCloud the way it allows us to interact with the devices and manage our onboarding and offboarding process. It allows us to deliver the devices keeping all the data in them safe.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing that i dislike about JumpCloud is that it doesn't have a way to autocreate an admin user on Mac/Windows/Linux to have the ownership of the device. We had to create some workarounds, but for example, for Mac it doesn't work and it's a mess to wipe the device on an offboarding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I mentioned before, it is solving us the interaction with users and keeping the devices safe on our onboardings and offboardings. Moreover, it allows us to keep our devices up to date on security patches
Excellent platform
What do you like best about the product?
The number of features, how simple the console is, and the way to manage the devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
The licensing method charges me for users who may not have devices assigned, such as in the case of generic or service accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our employees are in different places around the world. It allows me to have control of the devices without major complications.
