What do you like best about the product?
It's been easy to use. Easy to install and manage.

It's hard to push out group policies and push out programs.

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud allowed us to get off of Active Directory and no longer require connecting over VPN to keep computer accounts active. Once we were fully migrated over to JumpCloud, it doesn't take much maintenance to keep devices and users working as expected.
What do you dislike about the product?
JumpCloud isn't as granular as Microsoft Group Policy when pushing policies to Windows devices. Also, better reporting features would be a big help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to move off of on-prem Active Directory for users and devices; most specifically not requiring remote users to connect in via VPN to keep their computer account active. We were able to migrate off of Okta for SSO and move to JumpCloud, which made sense for our business.

It can feel overwhelming if you don't know the interface well

What do you like best about the product?
Good visibility of inventory. Easy registration of users.
What do you dislike about the product?
PowerShell scripts tend to not work very well, perhaps connectivity uses. Also API query documentation could be better organized and written, I usually find the right information in third party sites. Some users point towards JumpCloud for their hardware issues (sluggish, high cpu usage, ventilators ramp up).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Inventory visibility was an issue in my organization but now we have a very good accountability for each of the active devices in the org.

What do you like best about the product?
At Vendasta we have many users and many owned and operated products like Reputation, Listings, Social, CRM, AI Chat, Websites etc. when we have employees and staff access from our end to end Platform - from multiple devices - we need to be able to see them, and reset logins, logouts etc from 1 singular location. That is why we chose JumpCloud. We have Mac, PC, iPhone, android, iPad users from home, office etc and if someone gets a virus etc we can log them out of all devices and reset from one great application. That is why JumpCloud is so valuable. Any Enterprise company should have JumpCloud to handle this important safety feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Probably the part everyone will dislike is switching from another vendor. JumpCloud supported and moved from a vendor to a Partner. That is so key with all the choices we had.

What do you like best about the product?
Integrating with major platforms as Slack and Google Workspace is really simple and fast, allowing to streamline user deployment and SSO access. JC Password manager also helps a lot for those services that won't work out of the box with SSO. Device management works great once everything is set up. We used Jumpcloud's profesional services to kick off our implementation and it was a great choice, going far beyond regular customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Device enrollment and management can have quite a steep learning curve at first and some (minor) risks. Mobile device management is not top tier yet compared to other tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a solution to manage users and their access to tools and devices.

What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud is a great product that gets the job done you need. I love the admin dashboard on jumpcloud, it gives you a high level overview of what is important and you're able to find what you need quickly and monitor what is important to you. Really easy product that is simple and effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jumpcloud doesn't connect with Microsoft home computers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us make our users lives easier by providing a landing page of all the tools they'll need, while providing our back-end team opportunities to fix and monitor user activity to make this a seamless process for all.

What do you like best about the product?
It has helped us tame the beast of ID. We have moved away from the "what's the password to that computer" to simply logging in.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to see a more unattended GUI remote access platform
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the biggest problems we had was sharing of computer passwords and unapproved software installations. Now with jumpcloud we can grant and deny admin privileges on the fly and remotely

The amount of customisation available can be quite overwhelming and the set up is challenging.

Great for onboarding and offboarding employees and day to day MDM.
