Seamless SSO with Occasional Glitches
What do you like best about the product?
I primarily use JumpCloud for SSO, and it works seamlessly. I find it easy to configure SSO, which is a big plus. Additionally, the initial setup was nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have noticed that JumpCloud Protect sometimes doesn’t work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use JumpCloud primarily for SSO, which simplifies logging into our company app and other tools. It works seamlessly and is easy to configure.
JumpCloud is a simple, powerful platform that makes managing users and devices easy for IT teams.
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud is especially helpful because it brings everything we need into one easy-to-use platform. It allows us to manage users, devices, and access from a single dashboard, irrespective of OS. One of the biggest upsides is that it replaces on-prem directory services like Active Directory by offering a cloud-based alternative. With built-in features like Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and remote device management, JumpCloud makes it simple to secure our environment and support remote or hybrid teams. It's easy to set up, reduces manual work, improves security, and is cost-effective. We use it as our primary Active Directory, and is easily integrated. We are using jumpcloud on daily basis. The customer support times are managable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The policy integrations with Linux are not fully supported after the OS is installed. The package installations can be more intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the biggest problem it is solving is that it replaces the need for traditional on-prem directory services like Active Directory by offering a cloud-based alternative. Also the ability to execute scripts remotely through commands on systems is really helpful which make automation of applying policy throughout organisation easier.

The reporting and audit logs could be improved with more in-depth, customizable reports for better compliance tracking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is helping us unify identity, device, and access management under one cloud-based platform. It has replaced the need for traditional on-prem solutions like Active Directory, especially in our hybrid or remote work environment.
Effortless User and Device Management
What do you like best about the product?
iItsseamless integration capabilities—especially with RADIUS and SSO. The platform makes it incredibly easy to centralize identity management across all our tools. RADIUS support allows secure VPN authentication using the same credentials as everything else, which greatly simplifies access control. The SSO integrations are broad and straightforward to configure, giving users a consistent login experience across dozens of critical applications. This has significantly reduced IT overhead and improved both security and user convenience
What do you dislike about the product?
While JumpCloud is a strong platform, there are a few areas for improvement. The user interface can feel a bit clunky at times, especially when managing larger groups or complex policies. Some advanced features—like more granular role-based access control (RBAC) or deep reporting—could be more intuitive or better documented
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is helping us centralize and secure user authentication across multiple systems, which was previously fragmented and hard to manage. By using RADIUS, we’ve streamlined authentication for network devices and VPN access, ensuring users authenticate using a single identity. VPN authentication is now tightly integrated and more secure, reducing the need for separate credential management. The SSO capabilities allow users to access key applications through a unified login, improving user experience and reducing password fatigue. Overall, JumpCloud has simplified access control, enhanced security, and saved us significant time in IT operations.
I'm probably using just a fraction of JumpCloud, but it works great
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to manage devices, policies and users
What do you dislike about the product?
Onboarding new devices might've been easier, but I'm not sure how much of this has to do with JC and how much with the endpoint OS
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using it for device management and policy enforcement, required for compliance purposes.
Jumcloud is great
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to enroll and manage devices, and it's very stable et reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of rule complexity for scoping. There's only "AND", not "OR" conditions, and we can't exclude groups from the scoping conditions, only devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It fixes all the problems that we would have without a good MDM solution

Effortless User and Device Management Across Platforms
What do you like best about the product?
From a macOS administration perspective, the cross-platform device management is a standout feature. Being able to enforce security policies, deploy software, and manage local accounts across macOS, Windows, and Linux from one place is a huge time-saver.
Security-wise, features like MFA, conditional access policies, and SSH key management give us enterprise-grade control without the complexity.

What do you dislike about the product?
Limited Advanced macOS MDM Controls: For macOS environments, some advanced MDM capabilities—especially those around bootstrap tokens, kernel extension approvals, and declarative device management—are more limited compared to Apple Business Manager integrated solutions.
Reporting and Logging: While basic logging is available, detailed audit trails and event reporting (e.g., real-time login events, policy enforcement logs, or failed access attempts) could be more granular and customizable without requiring API workarounds..

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
umpCloud is solving the challenge of centralized identity and device management across a heterogeneous environment—macOS, Windows, and Linux—all without the need for on-prem infrastructure. This is particularly valuable in a hybrid or remote workforce where traditional domain-based management like Active Directory falls short.
