Unified Asset Management with Seamless Setup

  • February 19, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that JumpCloud keeps everything in one place, including its own SSO and MFA solutions, making asset management and tracking customer devices seamless. The user interface is very easy to use, which I appreciate. JumpCloud always seems ahead of the scale, looking to improve and taking feedback very well. If there's something we need to add or fix, it's usually addressed promptly within the next couple of days. Their customer support is amazing as well. Additionally, using JumpCloud to manage and push out CrowdStrike was very helpful, with the setup information being great and rollout seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes JumpCloud seems to be behind on a couple of things. They got the asset management piece down, but it was a little late. Also, a lot of applications aren't integrated with JumpCloud, like certain things using SCIM, which could provide some challenges. Setting up applications in tools like Jamf, Kanji, or Mozo is a bit easier and more user-friendly. I'd like to see JumpCloud improve in that area.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud keeps everything in one place, integrating SSO, MFA, and asset management, reducing the need for multiple third-party solutions.

Strong Cross-Platform Directory & Device Management for Growing Security Teams

  • February 19, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud does a really solid job unifying identity and device management in a way that feels modern and API-driven. For organizations that are cloud-first and don’t want to maintain traditional on-prem AD infrastructure, it provides a clean alternative that supports macOS, Windows, and Linux in a single console.

I especially appreciate the cross-platform support and the ability to tie users to devices, policies, and SSO apps from one directory. The policy engine for password enforcement and device control is straightforward, and the conditional access capabilities are strong for organizations trying to move toward a Zero Trust model.

Implementation is also relatively smooth compared to standing up and maintaining legacy directory infrastructure. Once agents are deployed, ongoing management becomes predictable and scalable
What do you dislike about the product?
Like most platforms trying to be both directory + MDM + IAM, some areas feel deeper than others. Advanced MDM workflows, especially on macOS, can feel less mature than more Mac-native tools. Reporting can also require some digging depending on the visibility you’re looking for.

Pricing can scale quickly as you layer on features, especially if you are using it heavily for SSO, device management, and directory services together. Larger environments may want to carefully model licensing and feature tiers before committing long term.

Support has generally been responsive, but highly technical troubleshooting sometimes requires escalation, which can slow things down when you’re dealing with time-sensitive endpoint issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud helps centralize identity and endpoint management without requiring traditional Active Directory infrastructure. For a growing company, that reduces operational overhead and simplifies user provisioning, deprovisioning, and device enforcement.

It improves security posture by allowing us to:

Enforce password policies consistently

Tie user accounts to device posture

Manage SSO access to SaaS applications

Standardize authentication across macOS, Windows, and Linux

From a compliance perspective, having centralized visibility into user access and device controls makes audits significantly easier. It also streamlines onboarding and offboarding workflows, which reduces risk and manual effort.

Facilitate Daily Work with Efficient Support

  • February 19, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud has made my work easier for many years. What I like the most is the support, always available, efficient, and quick to respond. It is easy to send and assign applications to users through groups, and it is very easy to configure.
What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps, automation tools could be improved, and also tools that can perform an analysis on my domain to show me as an administrator where my users are using our domain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud helps me in my daily routine by facilitating the deployment and assignment of applications to users through groups, and it is also very easy to configure.

Streamlined Access with Room for Improvement

  • February 19, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find JumpCloud straightforward to use, especially since I pretty much never have to enter a password by relying on the Apple TouchID on my Mac. It's also easy to set and use on my Android phone, with a Work profile and a Personal profile.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Password Manager is not very user friendly and confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use JumpCloud for unified access control and managing devices, ensuring no data leak by remotely erasing stolen devices.

Convenient SSO Integrations That Centralize Authentication

  • February 19, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The built-in integrations with a variety of different SSO applications make it incredibly convenient to connect our different services to authentication from a single, central location.
What do you dislike about the product?
The logging/reporting does leave a bit to be desired, while you can find SSO attempts/failures etc these often aren't easily correlated to a specific application or service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SSO on all of the things, price point per user and application specific permission sets (AWS IAM).

Great for Distributed Teams: Secure Management Without AD or Azure

  • February 19, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud is a great fit for a smaller distributed office setup like ours. It allows us to manage computers and accounts without having to have Active directory or Azure. I like the powershell options and the security policies are great. Temporary admin rights are huge.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is getting better. I would like to see OU structure for managing devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps us using a serverless setup for our company. This means less hardware and always on connections. The user accounts are local so there hasn't been any instances without the ability to login.

Easy to Use and Intuitive—Quick to Learn and Start Improving

  • February 19, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and very intuitive. I hadn’t used it before rotating into another role, but I was able to pick it up quickly, start using it right away, and make improvements.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wasn’t a big fan of some of the recent menu UI updates or their frequency. I get that they’re trying to make the app even easier to use, but I was still a bit resistant to a few of the changes they introduced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We’ve been working toward CMMC and CMMC 2 compliance, and Jumpcloud has helped us with many parts of that effort. Even the consultants we’ve worked with were relieved once they learned we were using it.
