Our IT team is finally able to focus on what matters

  • March 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The administration of user identity and access management becomes streamlined through JumpCloud since the platform allows unified control of our complete IT infrastructure. User access permissions can be managed quickly through a simple step-by-step process that the system provides. MFA operates as a security measure by confirming that authorized staff members maintain access to protected information. Moreover this solution allows our IT personnel to work efficiently while managing both on-premises and cloud resources through its intuitive interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating the system needs dedicated time but it mainly affects organizations which operate extensive technological infrastructure. System users must dedicate time to learn all capabilities that the software delivers. Users must learn how to use advanced system tools through an initial assistance program to master them. The brief data synchronization delays between different platforms have simple solutions that support teams can handle quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At the time when we had not implemented JumpCloud our user identity management and access handling procedures were difficult to manage. Each system used different tools which caused security complications and operation irregularities. The entire system has migrated to one unified centralized storage point. JumpCloud delivers automated access management functions which simultaneously reduces system performance errors and enhances security protection needs. JumpCloud enables our operations to function more efficiently since its data protection security features give us comfort regarding information security.

JumpCloud is very good cloud directory product but need to improve on dashboard navigation

  • March 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best about JumpCloud is very practical, easy to use and good for managing large organization directory. As the product is Cloud solution, it is really easy to use it remotely especially for internal IT support like me. I can solve several people's issue without having to meet them face to face. Additionally, it is really convenient for us to offboard talents from company and making sure that the access security is always on top.

The customer support team is very knowledgeable and be able to support or assist me to solve any issue while using JumpCloud.

The ability to integrate JumpCloud with other cloud solution and this feature is very convenient for me as a IT support.

The ease of implementation such as self-password reset really help me managing users in my organization and save a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
JumpCloud might need to improve on the dashboard navigation.

Example: The navigation between a user profile to another user profile.

In my case, when I want to navigate to search for another user, it is quite a hustle as I need to go back and forth especially when it comes to key in data for a lot of users.

Same goes to navigation between devices as well. As a IT admin, there will be time that I need to manage several devices in the same time. It would be nice if JumpCloud has better comprehensive dashboard especially when it comes to managing users or devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud provides a remote support cloud solution which solve my main problem, the needs to meet each of users in my organization when it come to troubleshooting devices or access problem. It also provides a all in one solution where it has Cloud Directory Services, MDM and SSO rather than purchasing each feature with several products/vendors.

Better Mac pre-build policies & functionality.
Patch management of 3rd party apps.

JumpCloud streamlines user management and enhances security for our business.

  • February 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I rely on JumpCloud daily—it’s a critical tool for our business operations. Setting up applications is straightforward, and managing user accounts is even simpler. The role-based permission management significantly reduces complexity, allowing us to handle user access quickly and easily. As a SecOps engineer, I particularly value how effortlessly I can access the machines needed for evidence collection during audits. We have hundreds of users, more than 50 applications, and 15 teams, so managing authentication without JumpCloud would be a nightmare. JumpCloud simplifies the process, making user permissions easier to manage and audit. I also appreciate the API, which allows us to integrate Jumpcloud into our log management, SIEM/XDR, GRC, and audit evidence-gathering scripts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have a few minor suggestions. Making it easier to manage ingress logs and forward them to our SIEM and log management platform—ideally without having to depend so much on the API—would improve the overall experience. Additionally, the structure can get a bit tangled. For example, users are assigned to user groups, which are then linked to device groups, and at scale, it becomes challenging to trace which user is associated with which device group. While this complexity is probably inevitable for large organizations, it would be helpful if there were a more straightforward way to manage these relationships.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud really simplifies the process of managing user access and permissions across all our applications and teams. With the large number of users and apps we have, handling authentication manually would be extremely difficult, but JumpCloud streamlines the whole process. It also saves me a significant amount of time when I need to access machines for audits, and the role-based access controls help us maintain security without unnecessary complications. Everything stays organized and secure, but without the usual complexity. Since we are required to comply with PCI-DSS, trying to meet those standards without the JumpCloud platform would be a real challenge.
