Jumpcloud is a seamless solution
What do you like best about the product?
The best part is its all-in-one management platform, which makes it easy to manage user identities, devices, and access controls across our environment. The intuitive interface and seamless integration with various apps and systems save us time and simplify our security management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont really have anything I dislike right now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud solves the challenge of managing user identities, devices, and access across multiple environments by centralizing everything in one platform. This has streamlined our onboarding and offboarding processes, enhanced security through centralized access controls and multi-factor authentication, and simplified compliance management. Overall, it’s saved our team valuable time and reduced complexity in maintaining secure access across our organization.
Essential MDM for security compliance
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud and the support team really helped us get our MDM setup in order as part of our SOC2
What do you dislike about the product?
Th UI can be confusing from time to time. As a product person I miss some more polish of the details. Also has some limits related to resetting devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We didn't have MDM and JumpCloud helped us get it in order thanks to the many policies and patch management features
Cloud based SSO that fits any budget or organization size!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fairly easy integration it has with SSO. I also like that you can PAYG or month to month which helps offset costs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be hard to move off once you are integrated with Jumpcloud since are the integrations are Jumpcloud specific.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the myriad of usernames and passwords needed to login to various system. It also helps centrallize what is needed for onboarding new users since it is all organized in the portal.
Simplified Identity and Access Management Solution
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud is extremely easy to use and has an intuitive interface that makes managing users and devices easy, even for administrators with little experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because of the large number of features, the learning curve can be a little steep, as there is a lot of information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud solves the need for access management, and this is widely used by some of our customers, with the possibility of easy integration, it has greatly facilitated interaction with the tools.
I am very satisfied with the services offered by JumpCloud!
What do you like best about the product?
The Remote Assist function has enabled us to easily connect to remote users in order to toubleshoot their computers at any time. The only other feature we're using at this time is Patch Management which works like it should as well. I am looking forward to using more of the featured possible with this service!
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting iOS devices onboarded was a bit frustrating but was mostly because of how ABM behaves (or doesn't)

Sometimes when I use the JC in phone browser i won't get all the options

Running a script in the endusers pc from cmd from the admin console

What do you like best about the product?
The platform has a wide range of tools to help admins manage anything from users and devices to software installation and management. The interface is quite easy to navigate and visually appealing. The numerous courses and certifications make it easy for anyone to get acclimated to the product in no time. The platform is constantly being updated to provide new capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although JumpCloud covers a lot of areas of IT administration, some areas lack deeper controls or capabilities. Application management is somewhat lacking in the realm of controlling what apps can be installed on devices outside of what is managed in JumpCloud. Sometimes changes to the UI can cause slight work flow disruptions.

JumpCloud is our main platform for almost all IT infrastructure. It allows us to manage 90 percent of our needs with one single solution.

JumpCloud To Manage Ubuntu Servers Works Great
What do you like best about the product?
We were looking for a solution to manage our Ubuntu server administration logins, as previously, we had been doing this manually. As we continued to grow, it became a more prominent issue for new hires (forgetting to add them to all servers) or removing former employees. It was straightforward to add this capability to our Ubuntu servers, which I was not expecting. We have yet to implement the features available for Apple products or complete the GSuite integration capabilities - but we intend to do so at a later date.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, understanding the interface and which users have access to which servers has been confusing, but as we continue to use the product, this has been less of an issue. We are a small business (less than 20 employees), so we are not logged into JumpCloud daily - but I see that as a positive because we do not have to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The primary problem JumpCloud has solved for us is managing Sudo and login access to our deployed clusters of Ubuntu and Proxmox servers.
