Effortless User and Device Management with Powerful Automation

  • November 11, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud is easy to understand and navigate, with a clean and intuitive UI. I also really like how responsive and helpful the support team is—they respond quickly and provide clear, effective assistance.
What do you dislike about the product?
**Software Management could be improved, especially for macOS. The app catalog currently requires using bash scripts for more advanced options, such as enabling automatic app relaunch after an update. It would be helpful to have this as a built-in option instead of relying on scripts.
Additionally, Directory Insights could be enhanced by improving software-related events. Currently, software updates (including driver updates) are detected as software add or remove events. Having a dedicated “software update/change” event would make tracking and auditing much clearer.**
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud helps address challenges in enforcing consistent security baselines and centralized device management across multiple OS platforms. It allows us to automate endpoint configurations, enforce MDM policies, and maintain compliance through posture checks and device groups. The integration with our firewall posture validation also supports our zero-trust approach. Overall, JumpCloud reduces manual effort in managing user access, policy enforcement, and software compliance — making our endpoint environment more secure and efficient to operate.

Centralized Management Shines, But Password Sync Issues Need Improvement

  • November 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the ability to centrally manage both devices and users, as well as organize devices into groups and utilize the MDM tool. The command options are my favorite feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, even when devices are connected to WiFi, they still appear as offline. Additionally, there are occasions when devices and JumpCloud passwords do not sync correctly. As an IT professional, I often encounter issues with JumpCloud password locks on devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MDM and security compliance are essential for effective device management. Ensuring that all devices are properly managed helps maintain security standards and compliance across the organization.

Jumpcloud review

  • November 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that JumpCloud offers a single cloud-based platform to manage users, devices, and access across Windows, macOS and Linux. It simplifies operations while enhancing security through integrated SSO and MFA. Its cross-platform flexibility and centralised control make it ideal for modern hybrid work setups.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile device management (MDM) and reporting features are seen as less mature than dedicated tools in that space.(eg : knox)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because our devices are in remote locations, the ability to restart, update apps, apply policies, monitor status from a central platform gives us better operational control, less downtime, fewer manual site-visits, and a standardized remote-device fleet.

Centralized Management Made Easy, But Setup and Reporting Could Improve

  • October 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like JumpCloud because it provides centralized identity and device management, supports Windows, macOS, and Linux, and integrates smoothly with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. It offers easy policy control, and has clear reporting and auditing all from one simple cloud-based console.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that JumpCloud can be complex to configure at first, some advanced features need higher plans, and policy deployment can take time to sync. Also, reporting options are limited compared to larger IAM tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud solves the problem of managing users, devices, and access across multiple systems and platforms. It helps by centralizing identity management, enforcing MFA and security policies, and integrating with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. This saves time, improves security, and reduces the need for multiple admin tools.

Excellent for Unifying Google Workspace, Macs, and Windows

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Honestly, it's the cross-platform device management. Google's admin console is fine for what it does, but it doesn't really help us manage our customers' Mac and Windows fleets. JumpCloud steps in perfectly, letting us tie the device login directly to the user's Google Workspace credentials. For our users, it means one less password to remember, and for us, it's a single place to manage policies
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say I dislike it, but the area I'm most excited to see grow is the Mac device management. It's solid for basic policies and tying the login to Google, but it's not quite as deep as some dedicated Apple MDMs. I'm looking forward to more granular policy controls and software deployment features to make it a true one-stop-shop for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem it's solving for us is consolidation. Before, we were juggling separate tools for everything. We had one solution for Mobile Device Management, another for identity, and then we had to manually configure SSO for every single app. JumpCloud brings all of that into one place. The benefit for us is huge: we can manage a user's device (mobile or laptop) and all their app permissions from a single console, which saves us a ton of time and complexity.

All-in-One Platform with Easy Setup and Continuous Growth

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This is a great platform that offers a wide range of tools and is constantly growing. I have been using it since 2023 and have never thought about switching to another platform. Setting up SSO apps and adjusting other settings is straightforward, making it a very convenient way to enhance security without needing any prior study.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, it's hard for me to pinpoint anything I dislike. However, I do have a few feature requests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool lets me make sure that access is granted only to authorized individuals using approved devices. For the rest I have policies set up.
