Seamless Multi-Device Login, But Room for Improvement

  • October 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The software allows for seamless user identification across multiple devices, making it easy to manage access. It also supports the implementation of different policies tailored to user preferences. The process for monitoring and applying software updates and patches is straightforward. Additionally, there are several options available for multifactor authentication.
What do you dislike about the product?
JumpCloud should consider expanding its target audience to include personal home users and families, ideally offering more competitive pricing for these groups. The business features currently available should be adapted for this new user base, as it has become essential for families to manage their digital devices and equipment in today’s world. Additionally, JumpCloud could benefit from being more innovative in its AI implementation. For instance, introducing the JumpCloud Module Context Protocol (MCP) would help set their product apart from competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main issue I encountered with JumpCloud was trying to access its full range of features on Windows Home Edition. I found that some functionalities were limited or unavailable on this operating system. If Jumpcloud able to enable this features, the market penetration for Jumpcloud usage will be much wider.

Centralized Convenience for Modern IT Teams

  • October 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud is an excellent choice for SMBs and mid-market companies that need to ditch on-premises infrastructure and manage a distributed, mixed-OS workforce with a high security standard. It simplifies the admin's life by consolidating core functions. You trade the extreme depth of specialized tools for incredible breadth and centralized convenience—a trade-off most modern IT teams are happy to make.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface is not very good, and I find that there are several aspects of the JumpCloud admin console that are confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud solves the problem of IT sprawl and complexity by unifying user identity, access, and device management across Windows, Mac, and Linux into one cloud platform. This benefits organizations by automating onboarding/offboarding, enforcing Zero Trust security (MFA and policy control), and eliminating the need for expensive, legacy on-premises infrastructure.

Seamless SSO Integration with Great Support, but Needs Better Cloud Documentation

  • October 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy using the SSO applications because they allow us to centralize logins across the various platforms and cloud providers we rely on. Implementation is quite straightforward, and integration with our existing infrastructure is quick and seamless. We use it daily at work, and the wide range of features makes managing our different devices much easier. Additionally, the support provided is very good whenever any issues come up.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a DevOps engineer, I find that the documentation for the various implementations and integrations can sometimes be insufficient, especially regarding certain cloud integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking for a tool that could address the various challenges we faced, such as device management, SSO, user groups, IAM, and password management.

Unified Endpoint Visibility, But Remote Assist Needs Improvement

  • October 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Allows our organization to see all endpoints (regardless of OS) through a single pane of glass.
What do you dislike about the product?
Remote Assist is unreliable in my experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud solved our reliance on traditional Active Directory. Our goal was to get away from that design and JumpCloud allowed us to do that.

A Powerful All-in-One Platform for Identity and Device Management

  • October 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about JumpCloud is how it simplifies and centralizes identity and device management. The platform gives IT teams the ability to manage users, access, and devices across multiple operating systems and applications from one place — without needing to maintain on-prem infrastructure like Active Directory. I also really appreciate the company’s open, cloud-native approach and strong focus on security and usability for both admins and end users.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn’t much to dislike, but one area I think could be improved is the learning curve for new administrators. JumpCloud offers a powerful, feature-rich platform, but because it touches so many areas—identity, access, device management, security—it can take some time to fully master all of its capabilities.

That said, I see this as an opportunity rather than a drawback, because the documentation and community support are strong, and the product continues to evolve quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
umpCloud is solving the problem of fragmented identity and device management. Instead of relying on multiple tools for authentication, access control, and device policies, JumpCloud unifies everything into a single cloud-based platform. This centralization simplifies administration, reduces security risks, and saves our IT team a lot of time managing users across macOS, Windows, and Linux devices. The ability to enforce Zero Trust security principles without needing on-prem infrastructure like Active Directory has been a huge benefit.

Effortless Asset Management and SSO, Minor Password Update Hiccups

  • October 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud has been a great help in managing our entire asset ecosystem. What stands out most to me is how easy it is to manage and access all our SSO-integrated applications from a single web console. This feature makes it much simpler for both myself and my users to avoid confusion when accessing different web apps, and it also supports us in maintaining a strong security posture.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not a major issue, but I did encounter some problems when trying to update my Jumpcloud user console password through the Jumpcloud user portal. Other than that, I haven't experienced any significant issues with Jumpcloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During the SSO integration, we encountered some issues, but the Jumpsloud support team assisted us in resolving them, and now everything is functioning well. Previously, we struggled to manage our endpoints securely, such as handling passwords and enforcing policies. Now, it is much easier to manage everything from a single console.

Users and devices are easier to manage than ever with it.

  • October 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use JumpCloud to manage user access every day across our mixed environment which are moslty macOS and a few Linux systems. I think the best part is being able to manage logins, device policies and MFA all in one spot without bouncing between multiple tools. I can get someone on-boarded in minutes and provide them with the right groups and I’m confident they’ll be able to access what they need securely.
What do you dislike about the product?
The admin console can sometimes feel a bit slow and clunky especially when I’m in there doing bulk updates or quickly checking logs. The reporting and audit trails could be a bit more intuitive as I have to click around a couple more times than I’d like to get the details that I want. And while the integrations are robust, some of the deeper configuration options are still tweak and try until you get it right.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to JumpCloud user access across disparate systems was a disaster and there were local accounts everywhere and far too many password resets. Now I have the ability to implement mfa, single sign on and uniform security policies across all devices and applications from a single dashboard.

Intuitive and Insightful Platform with Smooth Experience, Minor Update Lags

  • October 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
There are many things to appreciate about Jumpcloud. Ease of Integration, Features such as comprehensive insights into users' systems stand out, and the administration portal is very intuitive. Customer Support are very reactive to my queries. Most of its processes are also seamless, making the overall experience smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe that during update rollouts, there may be occasional lags, though they are hardly noticeable. I'm confident that the team is continuing to work on improving this aspect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They encountered a few issues with Apple IDs & report creation, but their support team responded quickly. It's rare to find such real-time assistance with other application support these days.
