What do you like best about the product?
It support multiple operating system, including ios android and window, and in jumpcloud administrators can and iplement rules for mobile devices like passcode requirements encrytion setting and app installation limit.

Using jumpcloud cloud be costly depending on the needs and the size of the organisation

with jumpcloud MDM service administator can work more easily and save guard company data while managing all of the mobile devices in the workplace. it function as a virtual and security gaurd and organiser. Companies can control which apps are allow on work devices making sure employees have what they need while keeping company data save form unapporved app.
JumpCloud: Best Identity and Access Management
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud has variety of option including Identity and Access management, Single Sign On, Endpoint Security and Device Management. A part of above feature it has easy to use and great customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is bit costly and does not provide a way to configure slack notification.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud solves our varioud problem including Provision and Deprovision, SSSD Configuration against Jumpcloud, MFA with third party application.

Jump cloud MDM gives holistic solution for all devices like iOS , Android, or windows. It helps a lot in real time monitoring, Administrator can monitor device actively.

MDM solution charges licensing fee based on the no. of device managed. So It increase the custumer cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives one stop device control. We can manage different devices with jumpCloud MDM. Its very easy to use even a non technical person use it very easily. It reduces the precious time in managing devices.

Initially i found this little complex but now I am very much use to it.

Jumpcloud provide a single pane of glass for managing user identity, access and control.
A great alternative to MS Entra id

It is a simple to use alternative to Microsoft Azure AD and I picked it up in seconds

We tried other tools, but sometimes the user interfaces of other tools are a little bit difficult to understand.
What is most valuable?
The product enables device management. It is one of the reasons why we chose it. We can remotely help people. We can also do installation remotely. We needed LDAP and RADIUS server. The website is pretty straightforward. We have users, devices, and groups. It's easy to understand. It has a small learning curve. The product provides multi-factor authentication. We needed that.
What needs improvement?
We need more multi-factor authentication possibilities. I opened a ticket for it. However, it is not configurable in JumpCloud.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using the solution for half a year.
How are customer service and support?
I reported an issue. The support person contacted me. However, they didn’t come up with a solution yet. Support is not good enough.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We were using internal Linux tools before. They were pretty old. Now, we are migrating to JumpCloud.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup is straightforward. Many helpful tools are available on the web, and there is a lot of helpful documentation. We will need knowledge of Windows and Linux. The product can be deployed in half a year. Our plan is to deploy it completely by the end of the year.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The solution is pretty expensive. It costs us EUR 250 per user per month. It was a point of hesitation for us. We can get premium support, too.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
We also considered Okta. It is more suitable for Windows. If someone wants a tool for Windows, then Okta is pretty good. However, we want a solution for Windows and Linux. We also wanted LDAP. JumpCloud stands out in those things. Okta can do it, but not in the way that we would like it to.
What other advice do I have?
The tool can be improved. I will recommend the solution to others. Overall, I rate the product an eight out of ten.

Onboarding Jumpcloud tools has been a great initiative in terms of user management.

I like user management from Jumpcloud where i can manage the users assigning different devices and application based on the OU.

Initially i flet this coud be tough to implement but it was done smoothly

I can see all the details about the the remot users. What device they are using, which app they are using and how many devices they have assigned for. It is very easy to track
Great Interface
What do you like best about the product?
How features are clearly stated with steps on how to perform the tasks. It was my first time setting up Jumpcloud for a lab setup and it was easy for me to understand the instuctions to get it up using the basic configurations.
What do you dislike about the product?
More integration with some products that i have used and maybe lacking some overciew analytics portion to have visibility for troubleshooting or just for knowledge purposes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some products has a steep learning curve and takes a little too long to setup to test features. Jumpcloud allowed me to use the basics to get it up and runnnig first and then add on any other features that i would like to use. It was faster and cleaner especially for lab setups or for small organisations.
