Centralized SSO with Superb Device Management

  • August 07, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like JumpCloud for its flexible SSO integrations with readily available SAML and OIDC Connectors and the custom connectors, which allow easy access to all enterprise applications with single sign-on. JumpCloudGo makes it even better with device-integrated passwordless logins, leading to an easier login experience for users. I appreciate JumpCloud's device-based policies that help me follow cyber governance policies by pushing them to respective devices. The SSO app connectors stand out with pre-configured details and guides, making app configuration easier. The professional services team's support during the setup was incredibly helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't really got a complete idea on SaaS management and this is yet to be figured. JumpCloud-based reports on devices should be enhanced, as they do not provide details on devices and policies enforced on them and device groups that they are part of. JumpCloud devices to JumpCloudGo enabled are not available. JumpCloud user reports do not contain manager information, instead, contain manager ID.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use JumpCloud for central identity and access management, streamlining SSO applications with flexible integrations. It makes user access easier with passwordless logins and simplifies app configuration with preconfigured SSO connectors and device policies for cyber governance.

Streamlined Device Management, Needs Patch Management Refinement

  • August 07, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that JumpCloud has been improving their services very quickly over the past year or two that I've been using them. They've added a ton more features, such as shadow IT detection and outside jump call asset management. They've also improved their API significantly with the version two launch and system insight, which has helped us make a lot of automations. These improvements have reduced our workload and the workload of everyone else on the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've noticed some issues with patch management. We still have some devices that are on pretty old versions of software, and I don't understand how they're still there when JumpCloud should be enforcing patching.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use JumpCloud to ensure devices are healthy, enforce security policies, streamline onboarding and offboarding, maintain password complexity, and sync profiles. It also prevents device misuse and ensures devices are patched properly.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can provide users their choice of OS and still have control. JumpCloud added software deployment, and it works well, even though it currently has only a few apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
They added software deployment, it works well but has only few apps, hope it will grow more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use JumpCloud to manage user accounts and bind them across multiple OS systems, providing users their choice of OS while maintaining control. It solves managing multiple OS at once.

This can help streamline administrative tasks, enhance security, and provide a better overall user experience. Its ability to work across different operating systems and cloud environments adds a lot of flexibility for diverse IT infrastructures.

Integration Challenges: While it supports many integrations, there might be some that aren’t as seamless or fully featured as you’d like, particularly if you’re using more niche or specialized applications.

It combines directory services with a range of IT management capabilities, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and device management. What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the simplicity in the UI. I think the menu is well sorted and categorized.

The speed from setting / deplying something is really good!

I enjoyed everything so far! And excited to see how far we can go with this!
What do you dislike about the product?
Think that the usermanagement part could be updated / reconstructed. I think that there should be an oppotunity to sync passwords from idPs.

I would like to see a bit more logic into the apply to device.
I would like to see as stated above, futher oppotunities in the usermanagement part.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Onboarding and devicemanagement for our non-tech users.

Simple MDM done right, no roundabout way of doing things

What do you like best about the product?
It's simple, has some advanced features and is extermely easy to implement especially for zero touch deploymnents. It is used everyday for all our stack fo linux, winodws and mac. It also has cloud radius integration which works well. Support is quick.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some things that need to be introduced such as RADSEC, more advanced scriting guides and such but they are rolling out features so rapidly I'd expect to see it soon
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One platform to rule them all, having JAMF, Ninja one and none for linux is a hassle to have cross platform unity. With this it covers all our stack of devices even mobile phones.
