Easy to administer intuitive yet versatile platform-agnostic MDM solution
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the JumpCloud is OS agnostic and works equally well with our Macs, Windows, and Linux devices compared to many other platforms that we considered that were specific to Mac. It is easy to manage and their training resources (jumpCloud University) are very comprehensive and freely available).
In our case we use JumpCloud for device management, but they are a comprehensive solution that also supports identity and password management. They do integrate with other identity providers, such as Okta.
On the device management side, JumpCloud support zero touch deployment for Macs enrolled in ABM and light touch deployment for windows (they have an ability to create provisioning packaging on the current roadmap). They are also constantly adding new features and just added dynamic groups, support for automatic updates for VPP provisioned apps, and support for apps from the MIcrosoft store (in addition to self-hosted, JC hosted custom apps, Chocolatey, and VPP for Macs).
I also appreciate their built-in remote support feature, including file browser and remote control, which requires a third party software with many other MDM solutions.

What do you dislike about the product?
- The limit on JC hosted custom apps is only 10 GB, which only allows for a few apps (something like MS Office and Adobe CC packages can be a few GB each)
- No support for local usernames that have a space, e.g. if a Windows user's local username is John Smith, JC won't be able to take over the local account without user first changing it to Johh Smoth
- No zero touch deployment support for Windows (this is more of a Microsoft issue than JumpCloud as MS intentially makes it available only for Intune/ Windows Autopilot)
- No comprehensive logs for remote access (from what I can tell), showing who/ when accessed an endpoint and what actions they performed/ which files were accessed. If you are in a regulated industry, that can be a consideration
- No preset "blueprints"/ policy bundles. There are recommended policies, but no predefined bundles, e.g. CIS Level I/ Level II for example. If you are looking to have your devices aligned with some of these standards, you'd need to put together a bundle of policies manually.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JC is our primary MDM platform for our entire mixed device fleet (Mac and Windows endpoints). We had no MDM solutions prior to deploying JC and had no control over company owned devices or ability to provide remote support, push regular software updates, or ensuring device security.
Using Jumpcloud as MDM was a great experience
What do you like best about the product?
With Jumpcloud, managing systems has become easy, as we can now restrict the admin access in multiple laptops which improved the security posture of our organization. Having pre-defines policies in Jumpcloud such as USB device control policies, lock-down control & firewall controls ease-down the task of implementers. The reporting and alerting mechanism is helpful and makes the integration process easy. Also grouping similar sets of user in one group and applying policies makes frequent jobs easier when having greater number of assets. Remote execution of commands helps push updates frequently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support for linux systems could be improved as it sometimes is unable to detect application policies on linux devices when executed with the commnad line.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is centralising the asset management and access management and helping us to manage the end user devices from the central console. Some of the features of Jumpcloud which helped us are:
1. Remote code exceution helped us push updates without individually connecting with the end users.
2. Having feature of schduling the cron jobs helped us automate the repetative activities.
3. Pre defined policies reduces the load of configuration.
4. Automated Patch Management and alerting helps secure the endpoints from Zero Day vulnerabilities.

Great and smooth experience

Easy and helpful tool for management of system directory

Nothing as of now, We will explore more option soon and then maybe we will get.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Specifically, it resolved the SSO issue across the organization.
Identity Management with Jumpcloud
What do you like best about the product?
We are using Jumpcloud for Managing the Identity of Users. We have also integrated Jumpcloud with multiple Apps to make the Identity via SCIM. By achieving SCIM its using frequently because we have to manage a single platform only.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime the functionality of console will not work like as we expected or seem deplay in updating in real time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using Jumpcloud, i have not purchase the license of another Remote Tool like anydesk, teamviewer. Its easily managed by the Jumpcloud and easy to Contol. User Provisiong is much easy to perform with various platforms
Love the features and ability to manage remote systems
What do you like best about the product?
The number of features and ease of integration and ease of implementation for any company makes JumpCloud the premier tool for IT departments of any size company. I think that JumpCloud tries to say on top of current trends and keeping security as a top priority.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing is not appreciated by upper company management and they don't want to pay it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One pane of glass to see what is going on with each system. If we can get it implemented, passwords and identity management will be great.
Holistic, User-friendly and beyond just an MDM
What do you like best about the product?
I like JumpCloud's capability of providing a holistic view for not just the asssets, but also the users. The portal is very easy to use and has dedicated tabs for various operations. It is also helpful to have remote access from Jumpcloud itself, since we had to rely on another software other than the MDM to do this.
What do you dislike about the product?
Has some shortcomings with Linux, for instance it doesn't store encryption key when LUKS is applied.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud was initially onboarded as an MDM, but helps in a lot more than that. Earlier we had to use 3 different softwares for MDM, Remote access and Enforcing and tracking encryption, among other problems. JumpCloud has been a one stop solution for all these as well as it provides ease of executing scripts on single, a small set or all endpoints in the organization.
Great tool as all in Solution
What do you like best about the product?
The zero-touch deployment experience is amazing.
Implementation is hasslefree.
The interface is intuitive and straightforward. Setting up new devices or adding new users to the system is a simple process.
Support is helpful and responsive
The Cloud Radius feature is fantastic and easy to deploy. Pretty straightforward.
The pricing is reasonable compared to other MDM solutions.
Password Manager is very helpful to securely store user passwords and sharing them with others when needed with the necessary permissions.
Having single sign-on (SSO) on the same platform makes it much easier for end users, as they don't need to remember different credentials for their laptops and apps.
Predefined command templates reduce IT's time by eliminating the need to write complex scripts for package deployment.
I use it every day, and it is very user-friendly.
Integration with other Apps is very easy. It supports all most all the Apps that support SAML.
The PowerShell feature provides additional advantages for automating recurring tasks.

What do you dislike about the product?
Radius could have support 2 IPs as every company will have 2 ISPs for the internet. And we can configure only one ISP in the JumpCloud radius.
Having more pre-defined onboard reports could have been more helpful for the audit proofs.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Endpoint management is now hassle-free. We can track every endpoint and meet audit requirements by enforcing password policies, encryption, and other security features.

JumpCloud - Effortless implementation of SAML in SSO and best Active Directory till now.
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing that I like about implementing SAML in SSO is the documentation, which is very descriptive and easy to follow. JumpCloud is also user-friendly and easy to use. I was new to handling SSO and managing teams, but JumpCloud made it easy to get my first SSO up and running.

As I'm new to JumpCloud and working with a small team, I don't have anything I dislike about it. So far, I like every feature of JumpCloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is solving the problem of managing devices and users in our network. Before, we had to use separate software for remote management, but now with JumpCloud, we can handle everything in one place.
