Worked with JumpCloud; liked the control, disliked constant admin approvals.

  • September 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that JumpCloud provides a single platform for identity and device management, reducing the need for multiple tools. Its cloud-native nature makes it easy to scale without worrying about on-prem infrastructure. The ability to integrate with a wide range of applications and support for Zero Trust security principles adds to its convenience and reliability.
What do you dislike about the product?
One drawback is that I need to go through the admin for every single update or download. This makes small tasks a bit restrictive and slows down workflows when I just want to install or update something quickly on my device.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From a security perspective, it ensures my devices are properly managed, credentials are protected, and access to apps or resources is controlled with strong policies. This minimizes vulnerabilities and helps maintain a safer environment without me needing to handle security configurations manually.

Modern Identity & Access Management

  • September 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about JumpCloud is its strong focus on security. No matter is the laptop is stolen they can open without password .
What do you dislike about the product?
One challenge I’ve faced with JumpCloud is the strict password policy in our organization. After three incorrect login attempts, my laptop gets blocked, and I need to contact the administrator to regain access. Additionally, the frequent update notifications can feel disruptive at times. While I understand these policies are designed for stronger security, they can sometimes impact productivity
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is enabling our organization to consolidate identity and access management, device management, and security enforcement all into one platform. It does away with the necessity of using many different tools because it integrates SSO, MFA, and endpoint control into a single dashboard. To me, this translates into being able to log in once securely to all of the apps and resources I require, while IT manages compliance and security requirements being met across devices.

JumpCloud helps me to manage various IT complexities and other associated tasks that comes with it

What do you like best about the product?
Having been a system administrator for a company for many years and having managed upwards of seven hundred users, it came a time when I had to create workflows and policies for users. Those policies would then automate user and system policies to monitor and manage users in most enterprise software in use. Long story short I have spent time setting up such systems that manage users, systems, and processes. I've become accustom to spending time day in day out manually creating user accounts, setting roles for users and keeping records for which applications users can access.
What do you dislike about the product?
Expanding on how reporting works would be useful—I have a strong tendency to need datasets in a very particular way, and more often than not, I have to use other tools to pull the data and massage it beyond recognition. There are also times where the UI does not review the level of polish needed for more complex group management. Support has been patchy with respect to the complexity of the question, and the right question to be asked in a bid to address the concern is might not be the most convenient context.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The way other solutions provided JumpCloud solves my fragmentation problem. I no longer need to context switch for identity management, device management and access control, as I work in a ‘single pane of glass’ environment. This means I have lower manual touchpoints, reduced on/offboarding setup mistakes, and more confidence access is actually controlled.

Jump Cloud Review for Amazon Coupon

  • September 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Security wise it seems good. The central control for the IT Team to remotely manage and help employees. Especially helpful in work from home environment
What do you dislike about the product?
Restrictions are a bit too much.

The mandatory password length is long with too many characters required. No support for password keychains like Apple Passwords.

Too much distractions during normal work to poke users. There should be a DND zone, will be useful especially in meetings where during presentation too much popups to update software and OS is a big turn off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Too much characters and password length requirement. And too much bugging during normal workflows for software updates.

Great IT management solution that changes everything

What do you like best about the product?
I like its ability to mange identities in a single platform. Its also user-friendly and intuitive, with an excellent user interface. Thats why I like how easy it is to set up and the seamless end-user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont like the pre-configured integration and customization options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to spend a lot of time on management tasks, but since implementing JumpCloud, our approach to security has improved significantly because you can work in the cloud with multiple systems and easily manage identities while ensuring compliance, and their approach to cloud director services is excellent and brilliant.

Unifying disparate platforms finally felt achievable, thanks to JumpCloud's unexpected versatility

What do you like best about the product?
The capability of our department is to have a control in the access to the specific application available to their team without requiring IT tickets every time there is a small change is amazing. It says that our marketing manager can invite a new content writer to Canva and Slack via few clicks. We also like the ease at which we can give our external consultants secure but limited access to project specific tools. This maintains everyone in a productive state and our internal systems safe.
What do you dislike about the product?
Configuration of new single sign on apps can be a bit less user friendly at times, especially when setting up custom SAML fields on the more arcane applications. We would like to have more detailed application run-down and looking more closely at trends in application access. This would allow us to find possible layout or odd user behavior rather rapidly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were sinking with assorted user accounts and varying access to our cloud apps in an expanding variety. No matter what team or project I used, the hour was spent trying to remember email addresses to send manual invites from, and what email to log in to each service with. The new employees can now acquire immediate access to their key tools, based on their JumpCloud identity. This has saved a lot of valuable time of our operating team so that they spend time on other growth activities rather than spend discoursing on access.

JumpCloud has streamlined the process to daily logins and optimised security in the process.

  • September 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Every single day, I use JumpCloud to manage all of my work application logins, And I do feel like I have won the biggest prize, I don’t have to memorize more than one password, one login takes care of everything. I feel comfortable more than ever with MFA, and I appreciate that it does not slow me down. I can resume work on any device and my access is super convenient which is nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like any application, the admin console can feel a tad too complicated at times. The same applies for attempts to add new users or change settings for a given policy. Changes being synced across all apps, given my experience, does not happen in real-time which causes delays. Unlike the mobile application, which is relatively smoother on the PC interface, could use a bit more polish. There is also the issue of access problems, which in my opinion, probably could be resolved quicker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, I have thanks JumpCloud for not only making me dread multi-factor-authentication, but also for eliminating the cumbersome separate logins. It gives me peace of mind that I have to spend less time during a day for password resets and, more importantly, that our data is secure. It is simply one less thing to worry in a busy day.

Reliable and Developer-Friendly Cloud Platform

  • September 09, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about JumpCloud is how easy it makes managing users and devices from a single platform. As a developer, I really appreciate the smooth integrations with different tools and the straightforward APIs—it saves a lot of time when setting up authentication and access controls. The MFA and security policies are simple to configure, which gives me confidence that everything is secure without adding extra complexity.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main drawback I’ve experienced with JumpCloud is that the UI can feel a bit overwhelming at first, especially when managing a large number of users or policies. Some advanced features also have a learning curve, and documentation could be more detailed in certain areas. That said, once you get familiar with it, the platform works reliably.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is solving the challenge of centralized identity and device management without the need for on-premise infrastructure. It simplifies user provisioning, enforces secure authentication with MFA, and streamlines access control across multiple applications. For me, this means less time spent on manual setup, stronger security by default, and a much smoother onboarding process for new team members.
