JumpCloud allowed us to pivot from AD and Okta with ease
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud allowed us to get off of Active Directory and no longer require connecting over VPN to keep computer accounts active. Once we were fully migrated over to JumpCloud, it doesn't take much maintenance to keep devices and users working as expected.
What do you dislike about the product?
JumpCloud isn't as granular as Microsoft Group Policy when pushing policies to Windows devices. Also, better reporting features would be a big help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to move off of on-prem Active Directory for users and devices; most specifically not requiring remote users to connect in via VPN to keep their computer account active. We were able to migrate off of Okta for SSO and move to JumpCloud, which made sense for our business.
Simplify your user management process!
What do you like best about the product?
Integrating with major platforms as Slack and Google Workspace is really simple and fast, allowing to streamline user deployment and SSO access. JC Password manager also helps a lot for those services that won't work out of the box with SSO. Device management works great once everything is set up. We used Jumpcloud's profesional services to kick off our implementation and it was a great choice, going far beyond regular customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Device enrollment and management can have quite a steep learning curve at first and some (minor) risks. Mobile device management is not top tier yet compared to other tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a solution to manage users and their access to tools and devices.
Jumpcloud Gets the job done!
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud is a great product that gets the job done you need. I love the admin dashboard on jumpcloud, it gives you a high level overview of what is important and you're able to find what you need quickly and monitor what is important to you. Really easy product that is simple and effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jumpcloud doesn't connect with Microsoft home computers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us make our users lives easier by providing a landing page of all the tools they'll need, while providing our back-end team opportunities to fix and monitor user activity to make this a seamless process for all.
Simply Fantastic
What do you like best about the product?
It has helped us tame the beast of ID. We have moved away from the "what's the password to that computer" to simply logging in.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to see a more unattended GUI remote access platform
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the biggest problems we had was sharing of computer passwords and unapproved software installations. Now with jumpcloud we can grant and deny admin privileges on the fly and remotely
Effortless Global Device Management with JumpCloud
What do you like best about the product?
I use JumpCloud for managing computers, users, and SSO, and I find it beneficial for managing devices and users all around the world. I appreciate having control over our devices and being able to restrict their usage or help them remotely. I find JumpCloud easy to manage, and the RADIUS functionality is working pretty well, especially with so many offices connecting through it. The initial setup was easy too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Device management part can be improved more, especially managing the local users and system information.

I use JumpCloud for managing computers, users, and SSO. It helps manage devices and users worldwide, giving us control over devices with the ability to restrict or help remotely. The RADIUS functionality is efficient for connecting many offices, and overall, it's easy to manage.

JumpCloud helps us address identity issues by providing a centralized platform for managing user access to devices, applications, and networks, streamlining authentication processes, and enhancing security through features like single sign-on and multi-factor authentication
Ease of Deployment, with great concept
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of deployment and uptime make it a great product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support can at times be "slower" but the need to reach out to support rarley happens.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping all devices and user database togetehr
JumpCloud is an easy to use IAM with a more than generous free trial and support
What do you like best about the product?
The free trial and the easiblity of being able to set up IAM groups within the platform
What do you dislike about the product?
Adding the groups and members can be confusing at first and making sure that the sync is properly updating
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to use Jumpcloud to test users in our IAM instance and to set up test cases easily.

Easy to manage MAC and Windows PC
What do you like best about the product?
Centralized management of Encryption keys for MAC and Windows. Remote management is super cool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not sure I followed the process correctly. Somtimes I faced issues while remote wiping the device which was logged in using personal apple account. Is there any way to disable that feature using jumpcloud?

Remote management, Encrypting the drives and adding more seucrity to our environment.
