What do you like best about the product?
Being a cloud based User/Device management tool has helped us keep track of devices and users credentials. The deployement of devices has been a lot easier being domain-less, we can set up devices and ship them and the users just logs in without needing a VPN connection. We also can shut devices off remotely and do support remotely for our users. The SSO features also have helped us connect a ton of platforms to our account which helps our staff not have to remember a bunch of passwords. If you are looking multi OS platform to manage users this is the best.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish Jumpcloud could be more robust in providing reports pulled from the data aquired by the agents on devices. This will give a value to IT teams with device managment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being cloud based helps us cover users all over the Globe, we are able to push device policy without concern it will be applied to remote devices.

JumpCloud Swift Progress in Identity Management

  • February 14, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is designed with a user-friendly interface that makes navigation and configuration a breeze. This ease of use extends to the management of both Windows and Mac computers, allowing for seamless integration and control across different operating systems. Additionally, JumpCloud's commitment to Zero Trust security principles ensures that our organization's data and resources are protected with the highest security standards.
Having used JumpCloud for three years, I've been impressed with the rapid evolution of its functionality and quality. The platform continuously improves and adapts to the changing needs of modern IT environments, making it a reliable and forward-thinking solution for identity management.
What do you dislike about the product?
One aspect I dislike about JumpCloud is the learning curve associated with it, particularly for teams that are new to cloud-based identity management. While the platform is user-friendly, there is still an initial adjustment period required to fully understand and leverage its capabilities.
Additionally, the pricing model, which is based on the number of users, may not be the most cost-effective option for very small or very large organizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud allows for the centralized management of both Windows and Mac computers, regardless of their location.
The platform provides SSO capabilities, which streamline the login process for users by allowing them to access multiple applications with a single set of credentials.
JumpCloud's MDM features enable me to manage and secure mobile devices, ensuring that they comply with our organization's security standards.
The platform's conditional access policies allow me to enforce access controls based on specific conditions, such as user location or device compliance.

Highly Effective for Device Management with Stellar Support

  • February 14, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using JumpCloud for two and a half years to manage devices and identity, and I appreciate the comprehensive suite it offers for integration with other applications. I truly enjoy how it provides us with detailed yet simple insights when registering devices, allowing us to see every detail about each device efficiently. The commands we send through JumpCloud are incredibly useful for managing numerous devices on a daily basis. I also love the user-friendliness of JumpCloud; it was straightforward to learn when I joined my company. Additionally, the support team stands out for me as they are responsive, making us feel heard and important, which gives us confidence and satisfaction with the service. Overall, JumpCloud plays a crucial role in solving a variety of technical problems for our IT department, especially in device management, user management, app management, and integrations, making everything easier for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the app catalog could be better. Although it's good, I anticipate a wider selection in the future since it's fairly new. Also, I wish there were more detailed features for device management, like the ability to change the log screen and wallpaper separately. These small enhancements would be very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud simplifies device and user management, provides detailed insights, and integrates well with other apps, enhancing efficiency for my technical IT department.

Jumpstart your IT with JumpCloud!

  • February 14, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud removes traditional barriers of needing complex and expensive IT systems to unify your tech stack or having disjointed and overlapping IT by providing an affordable yet powerful IT operations platform that provides a solid foundation for any business that wants to move their IT into the cloud.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some addon features such as password manager and remote assist still need a lot of maturing before they can be considered great alternatives compared to what is already available on the market, however, I am seeing continuous improvements for these features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before JumpCloud, we had so many different systems to achieve the same functionality but with no visibility of each other the process was complicated and lengthy for our small IT team. JumpCloud saves us time by centralising our core tech stack and gives us great visibility into threats and shadow IT that was hard to manage.

Simple, easy-to-use, and always improving.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Device deployments for JumpCloud have been getting easier and easier. Automated device enrollments make macOS setups very easy, and looking forward to enabling end-user portal enrollment for the clients I support.

I used to manage groups all of the time, but with the new dynamic group feature, it's made device and user groups much easier to set and forget.

JumpCloud support is very helpful in chat, and their response time is always great. They won't close the case without a resolution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Windows Application deployments are a bit limited, and would benefit from implementing some sort of repository where .msi, .exe and other applications typers can be configured and pushed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Single-sign-on and SCIM provisioning for applications has been a pain point for some of our clients. We've been able to formulate a project plan to our client that automates the onboarding of clients from their HR system all the way to their end user applications.
