JumpCloud Operates Fairly Well
What do you like best about the product?
I like how JumpCloud can conntect to all kinds of devices, ranging from Mac, Windows, and Linux. JumpCloud makes it easy to automate many features, such as running scripts to install softwares. It is easy to connect various policies as well. Customer support responds quickly as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main issue I have is the 'commands' feature. When running commands individually, it is difficult to determine if a command is still running or pending. JumpCloud also does not provide support for scripts. Sometimes JC level 1 customer support are not helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud allows me to manage all users devices with ease, such as resetting user passwords. JC also helps ensure that user devices are secured by binding users to their provided devices. The directory insights has been useful to ensure users are in compliant. SSO makes it easy for users to login to various applications without having to remember passwords for them.
A useful tool in the sysadmin toolbelt
What do you like best about the product?
Very simple to use to administer a collection of machines. In my case on a small scale where it isn't worth spinning up a more complex AD setup. It's as easy as sign up for an account, install the tool on each endpoint, and away you go.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much I can think of at this point. I think it's once uninstalled the endpoint management tool on a rarely used system but that was easily resolved by installing it again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Small scale user management and SSO for endpoints in a charity.
A great cloud hosted User Directory and Device management solution for businesses
What do you like best about the product?
Its a great cloud based solution for managing endpoint devices (macOS and windows) and user authentication. Its very easy to create a user and assign them to device(s). Device insights is also very helpful as well for endpoint troubleshooting. Works very well for a mixed environment of windows and macOS devices. Decently cost efficient for small to medium size businesses if you're looking for a cloud directory service and an MDM in one platform.
RADIUS service works as expected as well with little issues.
RADIUS service works as expected as well with little issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Subscription/pricing model has changed significantly over the years so depending on your needs, you really got to figure out exactly what you want/need from them. Its priced per user. Its efficient if you use both their directory service and device management together.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RADIUS authentication for wireless network access
Very good
What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity in initial application configurations
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of ready-made applications for deployment or already built models

Management of corporate equipment wherever they are
Easy to achieve compliance
What do you like best about the product?

What do you dislike about the product?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been looking for a simple device management solutiuon as a part of ISO 27001 implementation
Jumpcloud
What do you like best about the product?
Having a constanly updating and improving tool is very nice. The support is good and the KB articles are very helpful. Implementation was easy when we changed from On-Prem to a cloud based solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
The infancy of it is just part of the game with this tool. The lack of more Linux support is one thing but that is coming along.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has solved us going remote and having the ability to manage devices and users across the US and UK without having a domain. The Single Sign on is very helpful is well.
Centralized Management with Details to Improve
What do you like best about the product?
I love how JumpCloud centralizes the management of users, access, and devices, allowing me to apply security policies efficiently from a single platform. This centralization provides me with great efficiency, as I can manage everything from one dashboard, which speeds up my work and avoids inconsistencies. Additionally, the initial setup was quite easy thanks to the help we received during deployment. I truly value the fact that JumpCloud allows me to maintain centralized management without relying on multiple tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface could be more intuitive for advanced tasks, and sometimes policies take time to apply or are not applied correctly. It would be helpful to have a clearer interface to find policies and settings, as well as to receive a more transparent application status, with real-time feedback when something fails or is pending. The remote assist has bugs with the keyboard, it does not detect the keyboard layout well or has a lot of latency, regardless of the person's location.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use JumpCloud for centralized management of users and devices, controlling access with MFA and applying security policies from a single panel, which improves efficiency and reduces inconsistencies.
The Best centralized MDM platform out there
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of setup and set of features that are available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Test cases(before implementation) or possible a VM. Option of a rollback/restoration point will also be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provisioning and management of a company asset post deployment.
