An easy-to-use and highly effective solution

  • April 08, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I particularly appreciate that JumpCloud allows me to manage who has access and what activities they can perform on those computers. In addition, its cloud directory service allows for seamless onboarding and de-boarding of employees through its integration with multiple cloud software providers, while granting users only the access they are authorized to have. For businesses concerned about security, an additional layer of protection is available as needed, making this a great option for startups looking for efficiencies in both cost and time management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that the JumpCloud configuration process can be quite cumbersome, requiring time and effort without providing a satisfactory result. In addition, user reports often lack comprehensive details that would make analysis or verification of specific scenarios much easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a result of our company's distributed and cloud-based IT infrastructure, I have always struggled to manage it effectively.

Great tool for Centralized Directory & MDM enrollment

  • April 08, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- Using MDM Automate Device Enrollment for Devices
- Best features for the Authentication - Duo Security, WebAuthn, Time Based One-Time Password
- Managing by Cloud Directory Integrations, Active Directory Integration.
-an excellent tool for an organization's Software Management
What do you dislike about the product?
- The potential for inefficiency and errors is the barrier of having to push the Command each time we select and unselect machines for updates, installs, uninstalls, and group modifications.
-Pushing the command habitually raises the chance of error. For example, a user might choose the incorrect machine or forget to select a device, resulting in incomplete updates or installations. As a result, devices may become vulnerable to security threats or cease functioning correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overall, an excellent tool for an organization's software management needs is created by the combination of MDM Automate Device Enrollment, strong authentication features, and directory interfaces. Organizations may boost productivity, dramatically cut on errors, and enhance device security by using these services.

Best solution for multiple Oses in your organization

  • March 19, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The main advantage of JumpCloud is that it supports Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Other than that, the UI is easy to use, and it's possible to integrate it with most/all relevant systems
What do you dislike about the product?
JumpCloud lacks a few significant features which can make working with it simpler.
Regarding integrations, it supports SAML but not OIDC, as far as I know, which is very nice to have.
They don't have an open API for all their functionality.
They don't have a terraform provider.

From my experience, they don't have all the features needed to become a fully IaaS-compatible system. But I think that their competitor has the same problem
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is doing a great job when it comes to its primary purposes:
Identity and access management
Password policy enforcement
SSO
User Provisioning and governance
Privileged access management
etc.

I integrated it with many tools, including g-suit, my cloud provider, other SSO services and all the laptops in my organization.
It's working great so far with no issues.

Great Password Manager, but....

  • March 12, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud is a very safe, effective password manager. The entire suite of products seems like an excellent, valuable investment for any business, and the team behind it is very resourceful, kind, and accessible.
What do you dislike about the product?
They're a bit spammy and are a bit too keen to touch base upon the initial engagement. The experience was a bit damaging to me, personally, but someone who needs the handholding may appreciate it a lot more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They're excellent for secure password management. I really like how safe and effective the product made me feel in comparison to other password managers in the past.

Excellent Product - Simple to Use good features

  • March 11, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, can trial and it is very scalable and allows you to be able to add MFA, consolidate alot of your applications and features into 1 central location.
What do you dislike about the product?
the Cost. The pricing is more than I expected and you still require to play the application fees that are hosted on the Jumpcloud. Although it brokers the connections, this still adds up especially at the MSP level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote Support, centralized management, MFA and policy control. Device control and asset management and in addition to centralizing all our toolsets into one area.
