An up and coming modern RMM

  • November 14, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The support from the company. They listen and always strive to resolve your issues. The roadmap also has some good features coming up as well as ones that have already been released. It is moving with the times and changing needs of MSPs
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboards are something that needs a massive overhaul We need access to the info straight away. It needs the ability to have custom widgets so we can display what we want to see instead of having to use a 3rd party like brightgauge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The easy of use. The ability to react to issues no matter where we are due to the mobile app. The automation of tasks so we can reallocate our time to other important tasks at hand.

NinjaOne delivers

What do you like best about the product?
Patch management for software, antivirus, and windows in the same place is great. You get that single solution that also incorporates remote access options.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see some improvements to software patching, it works great for the select programs in supports. I would like to see that list grow though.

Also, I would like Splashtop remote access to allow multiple technicians to connect to the same machine at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having confidence machines are fully patched and the proof available to give to auditors if needed.

What do you like best about the product?
Excellent support and patch management. Easy installation and remote control tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigation, reporting, and searches. Backup storage is too limited; no file restore from the image and no support for SQL.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Patch Management and remote support.

Wonderful Experience

What do you like best about the product?
Having to migrate over to NinjaOne from another RMM software made us nervous, but the ease of onboarding and training our staff made this a great pain-free experience. I love the ease of navigation, scripting and patch management.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the scripting is excellent, it would be nice if the scripting editor was more robust.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
End point management
Patch management

NinjaOne has been a great addition to my stack

What do you like best about the product?
The software is consistently updated with new features, which I appreciate. Its integration with Screen Connect for remote access is very useful, and the patching process remains stable. I also find the price to be reasonable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would appreciate having more integrations, as this would help make the platform a true one-stop solution for monitoring and managing multiple systems, including Intune—which I understand is still in progress—and certain vulnerability management platforms that seem to be in beta. Additionally, I find some aspects of the portal navigation to be a bit clunky, particularly when accessing the installed software list. It would also be helpful if there were report templates available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed to set up a patching program and gain a clear understanding of the devices present on my network. Software auditing and ensuring patching compliance have been essential during assessments. The ability to enforce the installation of specific software, along with receiving alerts if the software fails or is uninstalled, has also been extremely helpful.

Great RMM Solution

  • September 29, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ninja is very easy to use, and the best part is that it's cloud-based. You can access the portal from anywhere and use all the features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Third-party software patching is flaky at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can manage all of our devices from one centralized location. All Windows patching is automated. Seemless Splashtop integration as well. The fact that it's cloud-based is a huge plus.

Easy and Powerful RMM Tool

  • September 29, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Simple, clean interface that is easy to navigate and easy to find what you're looking for within the portal. We should not have to search for items within a portal and have to navigate multiple layers to find what were looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Splashtop is not working on the client machine, so I have to have both Splashtop and Teamviewer, which gets annoying having to switch between the two remote tools. I wish I could silence an alert for good, so it does not appear on the client's machine. It is not a failure alert but something I can not change at this time. The PC maintenance script is not defining exactly what it is doing as maintenance, so I have no ideas if I should do that or individual scripts for specific tasks I consider as maintenance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easier to navigate than other RMM tools I have used and has better pricing. The learning curve compared to other RMM tools is minimal so you can get to work faster and start helping your clients in a much faster time. I do enjoy that it will integrate with a PSA for ticket creation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A compelling solution that is easy to start up with, easy to administrate, and will get you working with your clients ASAP! The system does not have a significant learning curve, so you can get up and running and productive faster than any other system I have used.

Easy to Implement and Use

  • September 23, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
NinjaRMM was very easy to onboard. Our primary purpose for it was for patch management which was a breeze to configure and is working far better than SCCM, which we're transitioning away from.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some better grouping functionality could be implemented to make configuration profiles easier to assign. NinjaRMM also is missing the ability to uninstall updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Patch management was a mess with SCCM. It required way too much of our time and effort to manage. Since moving to NinjaRMM patches have installed more consistently and easily.

Great RMM for SMB's

  • May 11, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The Patch Management system is one of the best in the RMM space. I've tried a few other RMM solutions (in fact I do that often) to see what's out there and where other RMM's may look prettier or have a few more features, NinjaRMM fits our needs. Since most RMM's are designed for MSPs, NinjaRMM does a great job at reducing the clutter for internal IT departments.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to drill down into graphs to get a more detailed view. Software deployment works but it takes some time getting used to how they want it done. In the end, it does work. VMware support is there but it doesn't do much for our deployment since we have a vxRail cluster and their implementation looks at the individual esxi servers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As the only IT person at my company, I needed a tool to ensure all of my endpoints were always up to date with the flexibility to treat different groups of machines with their own policies if/when needed. I also appreciate the fact that I don't need to spend a lot of time managing NinjaRMM. For the most part it just works.

Easy to use, highly functional RMM

  • March 23, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is the clearly structured and tidy start screen
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing I like least is that I can't always tell immediately if a machine is offline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our biggest problem was the different locations of our machines. Today we solve about 75% of all user problems with remote maintenance via NinjaRMM.

The biggest benefit for us is the easy integration of batch and powershell scripts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We have tested several RMM tools, including Solarwinds, Atera and a few more "unknown" ones. According to our specifications, we needed a tool that provides a remote desktop, a centrally controllable virus program and scripting. The price was easily negotiable.
