Easy to use with an intuitive interface

What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne makes it very easy to filter my device list by any attribute I need. The custom filtered views that I create can be saved and they then become dynamic groups that can be targeted with automations or other actions.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not easy to see at a glance in the Devices view which endpoints are idle or have no one logged in. To figure out if it's safe to force a reboot of an endpoint, you have to click each endpoint to find the idle time value or if a user is currently logged on. It's a small nuisance, but our previous RMM gave us this ability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As we deploy more and more mobile devices that regularly leave our campus LAN, it has become critical that we utilize a cloud-based endpoint management solution.

All in One RMM tool

What do you like best about the product?
I like how many different tasks that are usually done separately and is time consuming is easily integrated all into NinjaOne. Also being able to view the task manager of a device, remotely reboot, run powershell, view event log, view disk space, etc without having to remote in is ridiculously helpful and saves so much time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Whenever you remote into a device and disconnect, it will automatically have the setting "lock remote desktop" on by default. Every single time you remote into a device, you have to go to additional settings > Session, and change it to "no action" every time before disconnecting as to not disrupt the original user. Even though it's a few seconds, it's quite annoying that you have to change the setting every single time so you don't lock out the person using the device before you remoted in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves lots of time, allows me to do my job faster.

    Utilities

Feature rich and constantly improved

What do you like best about the product?
The product has all the features we need as an internal IT team, and it's constantly being updated and improved. I've used other RMM platforms in the past and I don't think any of them are as agile as Ninja seems to be. It's also very easy to use. It took no time at all to get my team onboard with the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one area I'd think other platforms do better is in scripting. The automation engine is so so, and you don't have the ability to create new scripts natively. You can only import new native scripts done by Ninja, or powershell scripts you've done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows our IT staff to manage our IT assets no matter where they are, from patching to pushing new applications, to direct support of end users.

Gets the job done.

What do you like best about the product?
Implementation and integration has been simple enough. It's easy to use and meets and exceeds our needs for our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't yet directly integrate with my ITSM of choice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Internal infrastructure and user endpoint OS and Software patching and maintenance for both Windows and Linux machines. The recent update brings the inclusion of Raspberry Pi (ARM devices) for Linux which allows us to add AWS ARM instances under the umbrella of N1 RMM.

Needle in a haystack

What do you like best about the product?
We had been searching for an MDM solution for our Linux distributions across our organization for a long time. When we learned of NinjaOne and it's capabilities to enroll and utilize MDM across different distributions of Linux, our ears piqued. We have been able to utilize NinjaOne across our Linux fleet for pushing various company profiles and utilities that are required for us to be secure in our environment. This is the first tool we have used that actually worked.
What do you dislike about the product?
There honestly isn't much to dislike. Like most widespread business and asset management tools, Linux can make it difficult to be able to manage due to it's nature. NinjaOne has been able to handle most everything that we have thrown at it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to deploy AV and security policies that are required for us to be compliant.

I’d recommend NinjaOne for its simplicity, speed, and strong automation great for MSPs and IT teams

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I really like about NinjaOne is that it’s clean, fast, and just makes sense to use. It’s clearly designed with simplicity in mind, so getting it up and running is a breeze especially when you compare it to some of the more complicated RMM tools out there.

The real-time monitoring works great, the agent is super lightweight, and the automation features actually save time instead of adding hassle. For MSPs or internal IT teams, it gives you everything you need without all the fluff — so you can focus on what matters most: keeping things running smoothly
What do you dislike about the product?
NinjaOne is definitely a solid tool overall, especially for teams looking for something fast, clean, and easy to use. That said, if you're working with more complex or highly customized environments, you might notice a few limitations compared to some of the older, more established RMM platforms.

For example, if your team leans heavily on custom scripting or niche integrations, you may find that NinjaOne doesn’t offer quite as much flexibility just yet. It’s still growing in that department.

And since it’s a relatively newer player in the space, while it’s improving quickly, some advanced users might miss the depth and maturity you get with the more traditional tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne makes managing IT way easier. It cuts down on the chaos by combining monitoring, automation, and remote access into one smooth tool. I spend less time fighting with the platform and more time getting actual work done — especially across multiple clients.

Ninja One Overview and Automation quickly and easily

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the clarity, the quick response of the product itself (just quickly open a PowerShell, etc.), and the ease of use. Automation is a breeze with Ninja. Just roll out an update over the clients, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest disadvantage is the sparse information when something hasn't worked (logs). The support also still has room for improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If, for example, there is a security vulnerability, I always find a way with Ninja to install the update on all clients, no matter where they are.

Great Platform

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Patching Capabilities, Script and App Deployment.
What do you dislike about the product?
As part of the automatic reboots for updates, it would be great if the message included the time when the device will actually reboot after a number of attempts.

E.g if the device gets patches at 10am 20/05/2025 and there is 7 daily attempts, it would be great if the message said that the device will reboot at 10am 27/05/2025
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
