Needle in a haystack
What do you like best about the product?
We had been searching for an MDM solution for our Linux distributions across our organization for a long time. When we learned of NinjaOne and it's capabilities to enroll and utilize MDM across different distributions of Linux, our ears piqued. We have been able to utilize NinjaOne across our Linux fleet for pushing various company profiles and utilities that are required for us to be secure in our environment. This is the first tool we have used that actually worked.
What do you dislike about the product?
There honestly isn't much to dislike. Like most widespread business and asset management tools, Linux can make it difficult to be able to manage due to it's nature. NinjaOne has been able to handle most everything that we have thrown at it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to deploy AV and security policies that are required for us to be compliant.
I’d recommend NinjaOne for its simplicity, speed, and strong automation great for MSPs and IT teams
What do you like best about the product?
What I really like about NinjaOne is that it’s clean, fast, and just makes sense to use. It’s clearly designed with simplicity in mind, so getting it up and running is a breeze especially when you compare it to some of the more complicated RMM tools out there.
The real-time monitoring works great, the agent is super lightweight, and the automation features actually save time instead of adding hassle. For MSPs or internal IT teams, it gives you everything you need without all the fluff — so you can focus on what matters most: keeping things running smoothly

What do you dislike about the product?
NinjaOne is definitely a solid tool overall, especially for teams looking for something fast, clean, and easy to use. That said, if you're working with more complex or highly customized environments, you might notice a few limitations compared to some of the older, more established RMM platforms.
For example, if your team leans heavily on custom scripting or niche integrations, you may find that NinjaOne doesn’t offer quite as much flexibility just yet. It’s still growing in that department.
And since it’s a relatively newer player in the space, while it’s improving quickly, some advanced users might miss the depth and maturity you get with the more traditional tools.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne makes managing IT way easier. It cuts down on the chaos by combining monitoring, automation, and remote access into one smooth tool. I spend less time fighting with the platform and more time getting actual work done — especially across multiple clients.
Ninja One Overview and Automation quickly and easily
What do you like best about the product?
I like the clarity, the quick response of the product itself (just quickly open a PowerShell, etc.), and the ease of use. Automation is a breeze with Ninja. Just roll out an update over the clients, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest disadvantage is the sparse information when something hasn't worked (logs). The support also still has room for improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If, for example, there is a security vulnerability, I always find a way with Ninja to install the update on all clients, no matter where they are.
Great Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Patching Capabilities, Script and App Deployment.
What do you dislike about the product?
As part of the automatic reboots for updates, it would be great if the message included the time when the device will actually reboot after a number of attempts.
E.g if the device gets patches at 10am 20/05/2025 and there is 7 daily attempts, it would be great if the message said that the device will reboot at 10am 27/05/2025

Great product, greater community
What do you like best about the product?
I like the community formed around NinjaOne. The features of the product are amazing but the community that has come together to help outline best practice and fixes or guides for all of the unique scenarios that IT leaders face is incredible. I've been able to easily deploy scripts that others have contributed on or I've been able to take and customize ones that are similar to what I need in my environment. All of that is from the ninja dojo.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've struggled with getting the streamer app installed and configured on some of our MacBooks. I am working with support on this though so it might be resolved soon. I'm not sure if this is a problem within our environment but it seems unique to us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
After transitioning away from an MSP, we were left without a way to support our endpoints. This meant no patching, no monitoring and little to no remote support. NinjaOne steps in to tackle all of those issues plus provide automation capabilities and it has been able to streamline some of the processes that we've had struggles with in the past.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IT departments and MSPs often have too many manual tasks and no central overview of all devices, updates, security statuses, and support requests.
How does NinjaOne solve this problem?
Central management of all endpoints (whether in the office or remote)
Automation of maintenance, updates, and scripts
Security controls (e.g., patch management, antivirus status)
Quick response through alerts & remote access
Live overview of all systems in the network

Very simple introduction and handling
What do you like best about the product?
Access control, 2FA again for admin actions, fast rollout, good inventory, scriptability
What do you dislike about the product?
All systems must have internet access, there is no proxy that could be centrally installed, NinjaBackup cannot save to an on-premises or private cloud repository.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Standardized management of various end customers with different requirements
Nice package for low price. Still a bit of polish needed on some point. Would buy again.
What do you like best about the product?
The dashboard is very nice and clear, I like being able to run cmd, browse file, see if a collegue is remoting on a VM so I wont interupt him. We got the base package and it's still packed with usefull functionnality, unlike many other where base get you, well...base, and you need to pay for almost everything. Ninja Remote is also very nice, altought being fairly new and having a few thing to be worked on, it's working well, and the quick connect function is a very nice addition to the suite. Support have been very quick and kind. Kudos on that!
What do you dislike about the product?
Policies are a bit lacking, and are a bit unclear. There's many thing that cannot be done unless you use a script, and those that can be done, documentation is a bit lacking for people that don't have a huge experience with all that.
Support forum is also a down side. The dojo is fairly nice, but if you don't find what you need in the guide, asking on the forum is most likely to remain unanswered. I feel like having Ninja employee on the forum would be of very great help to build the community over time.

Automated update : We used to do it manually and it was taking a lot of time. Just the time saved is more than Ninja one price.
VM monitoring : We used to rely on azure monitoring for our VM, it was pretty basic and many function where behind a pay wall. Ninja offer more for much less.
remote access : We used RDP to connect to our VM before. Now that we can use ninja remote, it allowed us to close RDP port and also to see if someone is already working on a VM, so we don't bump into each other anymore.
Policies : We now have automation and monitoring on the many service we ahve on our VM. Reducing human interection since now service can be auto resarted without human interation.

Excellent MDM application
What do you like best about the product?
I found the MDM service to be reasonably intuitive. We were able to role out its support in a few days. The two issues we id have were resolved rather quickly. One through online documentation and the second was through Customer Support. We liked that they have continued to add features and have been able to take advantage of them. The MDM use is expanding and we are pleased with its results allowing better tracking, control and support to our users.
What do you dislike about the product?
We would like to be able to migrate all the data from a users device to a new device. Contacts, Docs, Pictures. To make a more seemless transition when upgrading phones.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ninja one solved the problem of having the users Apple ID lock out a phone. When phones were returned or exchanged previously, if they could not remember their Apple ID or left abruptly; it would take days or longer to reset a phone. We would also have to spend time with user after they got a phone to help them load all their work APPs. Now we have the phone added to NinjaOne, profile loaded and all apps ready for a user. Also when they leave it is much quicker to reset a phone and have ready for next user.
Good product, and a pleasure to work with
What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne listens to their customers and cares about building a good product. They frequently release new features based on customer feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
NinjaOne's infrastructure monitoring capabilities are too limited to meet our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use NinjaOne to remotely manage and provide support to our customers, as well as our own internal systems.
