Powerful Tool with Some Limitations

  • November 18, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is an intuitive, all-in-one platform that streamlines patch management, backups and more.
Its easy-to-use interface with good automation options and reliable remote support make it a perfect platform for IT.
It greatly simplifies workflows while providing great customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its limited customisation options and occasional challenges with MacOS patching can be drawbacks. Its cloud-only nature may not suit all organisations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use NinjaOne for endpoint management, IT service management, mobile device management, remote monitoring, patch management and network monitoring. The platform provides a centralised solution to simplify IT operations, automate tasks and improve efficiency across all of these areas.

What do you like best about the product?
The remote-control options, especially the ability to execute scripts remotely, are noteworthy. In general, NinjaOne has improved over time!
What do you dislike about the product?
The search bar currently does not include the active user, which I think would be a valuable feature to add.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can remotely access the clients, we can monitor the clients.
With both of these features alone we can work and help the customers

What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne has been an invaluable tool in our effort to wrangle our endpoints and security patching. Automations are easy to create and the reporting helps me follow up on issues quickly. It interfaces directly with many of our other tech tools, keeping things well-organized and close at hand for my technicians.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some integrations that are still on my wishlist or under development. It's certainly not a dealbreaker, but it does keep NinjaOne from being a solid 10.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Patch management and remote workforce endpoint support.

What do you like best about the product?
The overview and management of the systems; it is quick and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would rather wish for a sensor system that operates on a better foundation—such as PRTG or similar, with a graphical overview, perhaps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Ninja solves the issue of centralized management of systems, and this is a great benefit.

Easy and powerfull to push applications, policies and scripts

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We use NinjaOne day to day and it’s basically part of how we run IT now. Remote PowerShell is a big one for us as it makes it easy to manage devices without bothering the user. Pushing scripts is simple, and I like that you can run them with different permission levels depending on what you need.

I also like that there’s a few different ways to get into endpoints, so you’ve got options depending on the situation. The SentinelOne integration is solid, and the built-in backup stuff is a nice bonus too. Another thing that’s been handy is being able to add end users so they can remote into their own machine when needed.

Overall it’s powerful, easy to use, and it’s made supporting our environment way smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main thing I miss is better real-time reporting when doing big script pushes. Like a live dashboard that shows what worked, what failed, and the actual error reason. It would make bulk deployments a lot easier to track and troubleshoot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne is helping us streamline software installation and patch management across all endpoints, saving significant time while ensuring systems remain up to date and secure. The remote monitoring capabilities allow us to proactively address issues like low disk space or high memory usage before they affect end users. Its structured device grouping makes it easy to target the right machines, apply site-specific settings, and manage environments more efficiently.

I'm especially excited about the new AI-powered patch management features, which promise to take automation and accuracy to the next level.
