Great for Vulnerability Detection and Patch Management, with Easy Policy Setup

  • January 23, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne has proven itself as a great tool for identifying vulnerabilities and software and OS patch management. It also eliminates the need for us to have a GoToAssist account for remote devices. The software install easily as a lightweight AD install. The ease of configuring policies and managing services made this quite easy to implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have also purchased the NMS product of NinjaOne and it leaves a lot to be desired. We also have run into a few licensing issues with offline devices that we have had to implement workarounds for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the impending deprecation of WSUS, NinjaOne is helping us to manage patches in the interim on a much more fine grained manner, and I have been told that there will be a WSUS replacement built into a later version of the NinjaOne Software.

NinjaOne is the key to understanding your Corporate Fleet

  • January 23, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The amount of data for device management offered. You can get a really detailed look under the hood of your company fleet with this tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
U/I is not the most intuitive and could be greatly improved by restructuring, ex: device scripts are hidden in submenus. There's a lot of insights per device presented, but it can be overloaded. While presented clearly enough, highlighting the most key or commonly used information would be go a long way to improving the overall already very good usability of the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a fully remote company spread across the US and Canada with only a small IT team supporting 50+ users and their devices. The only way it is possible to manage and support that widespread team is through the endpoint management capabilities NinjaOne offers us. We veritably couldn't be in business without the detailed device insights NinjaOne provides us.

Just this week a user was unable to self-resolve an issue installing our VPN, but through NinjaOne I was able to discover his device had automatically installed a bloatware Antivirus program that was causing conflicts with our company deployed solution, blocking the VPN .exe from properly installing. NinjaOne's service helped us identify and resolve the issue that much faster, allowing critical work to keep flowing with minimal disruption.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Intuitive Web UI and packed full of useful features to make managing IT easy

  • January 23, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use, very easy to get started and the Web Ui is quite intuitive. very easy to setup and implement.

Lots of features and the engineers working on the product seem very active and open to suggestions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of permission structure and alerting/progress indicators particularly with tasks I feel could be improved. It would be good to also have a 1 time connection option lets say for example for assisting personal devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making it very easy for patching and visibility of devices, super easy to connect on and provides lots of tools and features to administer devices without the need to disturb/notify the end user.

Applying/queueing policies, scripts on mass is super beneficial and I hear there are lots of features relating to vulnerability management in the near future.

Dynamic Groups, Flexible Scripting, and Smooth Third-Party Patch Automation

  • January 23, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can create dynamic groups of systems based on specific configurations, such as whether a particular piece of software is installed. I also appreciate being able to set up scheduled tasks to run whatever scripts I need. For example, I run a file share cleanup script weekly, and I can target as many systems as I want. Lastly, the ability to patch third-party applications automatically through policies makes remediating vulnerabilities much smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’d like the ability to schedule Windows updates based on dependencies. For example, when patching a cluster with two SQL cluster nodes, it would be helpful to ensure the update on one node completes before the next node begins.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne mainly helps us reduce the amount of manual work around endpoint management and patching. Instead of managing systems individually, we group them based on configuration and apply patches or run scripts across everything at once. We also use scheduled tasks to clean up file shares and directories on a regular basis, which has been helpful. For patching, we’ve used it on Server OS systems in cases where Ninja’s built in winget third party patching doesn’t work well on non client OS systems. Overall, it’s made system management more consistent and has saved time that would otherwise be spent chasing individual machines.
