What do you like best about the product?
First, I really its 2 factor authentication because it provide strong security and gives a lot of confidence from a safety.
second, Its fraud detection features is very impressive as help identify fake and suspicious identities.
Third, it is cloud based software solution, which means it can be accessed remotely from anywhere.
The best thing for me is that this software is used by governments organization and banks, which is why i have a lot of trust in it.

What do you dislike about the product?
The main drawback of this software is that it can be a bit complex and expensive for beginners and also setup and configuration is not easy to understand for beginners & initially take time to implementation also.

This tool solved the problem of managing customer identities securely and at scale and it help organizations handle user signup, login, authentication & access control in a safe reliable way.

I mostly like its strong security features, including adaptive authentication, MFA, and fine-grained access controls. The admin console provides good visibility into user activity, authentication flows, and policies.

The initial setup and configuration can be complex, especially for teams without prior IAM or IBM ecosystem experience. Some advanced customizations require deeper technical knowledge, and the documentation could be more streamlined for faster onboarding.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the IBM Verify CIAM's Application Gateway because it makes it easy to connect older on-premise applications with modern cloud apps without having to rewrite the code. It handles modern logins like SSO and provides banking-grade security for older apps. Once it verifies the user, it seamlessly passes the user’s identity to the older app using simple HTTP headers. This feature is particularly helpful as it allows me to secure old apps without writing a single line of code.
What do you dislike about the product?
Configuring the Application Gateway requires a strong background in network architecture. Setup is not easy. The issue is that I cannot just click a button to protect legacy apps; it requires deep configuration of headers and network rules.

IBM Verify CIAM offers a modern interface that greatly simplifies identity management once you become accustomed to the platform. Its security features are outstanding, particularly the multi-factor authentication, adaptive authentication, and risk-based scoring, which allow us to maintain strong security measures without creating unnecessary obstacles for end users. The authentication flows are very flexible, and the policy-based system provides us with detailed control over user verification processes. I also value the developer-friendly APIs and the clear documentation, as they make it much easier to integrate the platform with various applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest challenge is the initial setup. For first-time users, the configuration process can feel complex and requires some technical understanding. Policy creation, although powerful, comes with a noticeable learning curve. Additionally, the pricing is on the higher side compared to some newer CIAM providers, so it may not be ideal for small teams with limited budgets.

IBM Verify CIAM has enabled us to centralize authentication for our various customer-facing applications, making user management much simpler. Implementing MFA was straightforward and has notably strengthened our security. We have also seen a decrease in password-related problems and support requests due to more intelligent authentication and self-service features. The automated onboarding and offboarding workflows have minimized manual work and helped us maintain consistent compliance throughout our systems.
