Great for Quick Flowcharts, Minor Animation Lag
What do you like best about the product?
The site is really easy to use for basic charts, especially flowcharts, i.e. for computer algorithms. High number of boxes and arrows
What do you dislike about the product?
Its fast and has everything necessary for a chart site but sometimes it is slow graphically as in, animations such as moving the boxes isnt smooth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the issue of a lack of a decent modern flowchart maker. It is benefitting me as it enables me to finish my charts fast and effectively for school.
Excellent for Collaboration, But P&ID Features Could Be Deeper
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Lucid visual Collaboration suite is that it makes it incredibly easy to create, share and collaborate on diagrams and workflow. I have been implementing a lot of P&ID diagrams to support my own knowledge around ERF plants and instrumentations utilised. This is particularly good when working with a remote team, so that everyone can stay aligned and contribute efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the tool is very powerful, it lacks some features and depth in the P&ID sections, which can be challenging when creating a real life process. In addition, i feel that some range of features can be overwhelming for new users which would require a bit of a learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite has been beneficial for creating and updating P&ID and other technical process diagrams used in engineering projects. It enabled me to support senior engineers by clearly documenting the work flow, diagrams and instrumentations in a simplified and sharable format. It makes it easier to gain feedback and improve communications between the engineering team, even working remotely. The documentations therefore have been more streamlined to translate the process design concepts into practical system layouts.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Lucid products for all of my diagrams and system designs its very convenient to share or copy them to the Docs
What do you dislike about the product?
From my experience it lacks icons for some technologies, sometimes I have to search for it on my own
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do a lot of designs for our architecture, its very complex cross cloud solutions where I have to present it in a simple and understandable way. Its fast and easy sadly it doesn't have a syntax check so it makes it hard sometimes to see the misspells.
Excellent Collaboration Tools, But Object Formatting Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Collaboration features that allow multiple users to work in the same file at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Object formatting can be difficult and time intensive. The UI for formatting objects is not always intuitive. The object lock feature lacks some functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Describe complex business processes & logic in an easily digestible format - various types of diagrams.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, simplicity and availability of tools to complete a task
What do you dislike about the product?
Some alignment issues noted when linking data
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to share ideas and collaborate virtually using a diagram layout is ideal
Super Intuitive and Easy to Use from Day One
What do you like best about the product?
I've used Lucid for about a month. It's super easy to use, very intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have only been using it for a month or so, I haven't had any trouble.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before lucid, I struggled making a flow chart on power point. This is much easier and time efficient.
Excellent Visual Tool, But Steep Learning Curve for Beginners
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid is a very visual product and is great for those who need or like to use visual aids to map and plan out their work.
What do you dislike about the product?
AI has made it much more user friendly but the bar to entry to be comfortable on the product is quite high. It's assumed you have a degree of understanding of visual collaboration before hand which is both a good and bad thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Right now we're trying to get our product development teams to start using it in collaboration with Jira

What do you dislike about the product?
Steep learning curve for advanced features — beginners can feel overwhelmed.
• Performance can lag on very large or complex diagrams.
• Some useful features are locked behind higher-tier plans (i.e. limited in free or mid tiers).
• Limited ability to add notes/annotations in certain places (e.g. on arrows) and weaker Markdown support.
• Offline / mobile editing is less robust — full functionality relies on a good internet connection.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Diagramming is a useful feature that helps me visualize complex ideas and processes. It allows me to organize information more clearly and makes it easier to understand relationships between different elements. I find it especially helpful when I need to communicate concepts to others or plan out projects.
Gets the job done
What do you like best about the product?
I like the user friendly aspect the best. Everything is right there in your face and easy to access.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI capability still needs fine tuning. I was looking for a software where I can tell it how I want and need the organizational chart to look like and how to structure it. It didn't work out the way I hoped.
