When we want to introduce a new feature to our services, it allows us to understand the ideas behind it and show them to the team.
Then it is easy to take the teams opinion and make changes while reviewing it.
In other words it speeds up the process of reviewing and implementing.

Easy to use tool for creating process flows
What do you like best about the product?
Easy of use - it is possible to quickly create and update process flows, particularly using swimlanes. These can be exported to share with colleagues, print or save as part of company documentation. In particular, we use Lucid chart for documenting process flows for GDPR and eCommerce.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost is the only downside to this application, meaning it is not rolled out to more users in the company. Perhaps it would be helpful to have a tiered license structure, as we only use a limited amount of the functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The primary purposes for using Lucid chart is not listed above: business processes. In particular, we are required for GDPR to map all business processes involving personal data and Lucid chart is invaluable for this purpose. We also used Lucid when implementing our new eCommerce solution to determine the online order creation and fulfillment process. Mapping this out made it simpler to visualise roadblocks and allowed us to come up with alternate solutions before proceeding with software development. Finally, we have used Lucid for high level architecture diagrams of our in-house applications, to show the integration points and related departments.
I like using Lucid products as they are easy to use enough to help me get my work done.

I like the most that I can share my project with colleagues who can contribure to them, even simultenaously, doing it over a meeting.
It is a simple, easy to use solution that requires no training or any preparations. Works just out of the box.

What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, hard to find any. It can be confusing to see who did what on a project, but with proper permission settings, it is managable.
The lack of certain integrations (Zeplin for design elements for example) is sometimes problematic as I need to manually update the project elements from time to time.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of communicating ideas, plans, proposals to a wider audience (team or multiple teams) with detailed views and explanations.
Later on it also solves the problem of having to keep all information, updates, comments in a single place that evolves over time.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Lack of shortcuts: Most of the other diagramming/whiteboarding tools (eg. Whimsical, eraser, etc.) have a "/" shortcut which helps with almost everything. I find myself using the Mouse much more on Lucid.
- User experience: Not happy with the UX that Lucid provides. The canvas feels very cluttered.
- Moving around the canvas, zooming in/out is much more difficult on Lucid.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives us one platform where everyone can "show" their ideas as opposed to "writing" them.
We need to create a lot of architecture diagrams, and we use Lucid for that.
When multiple people need to showcase their approach on something, it helps them collaborate.
