Powerful tool for visualisation
What do you like best about the product?
From past couple of years I am using lucid. Its part of my most the meeting and discussions on daily basis. Its really easy to use tool. Best tool to create any type of diagram.
You just need to drag and drop the shapes and connect them , hence vvery easy to implement. Mostly all icons are available. It includes ML, cloud related icons which makes it possible to draw Data platform related diagrams. Teams can seamlessly collabrate and modify any diagram. Pre defined templated saves lots of time. Lucid provides integration with most of the commonly use tools and services like azure, jira confluence etc.

What do you dislike about the product?
Only drawback is paid version is quite expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using it on daily basis in part of customer meeting , client discussions working with colleagues. It helps to create end to end data flows. ER diagrams, platform arcitectures. It has most of the icons readily avaialble which helps to visualise the data platform architecture. Also using Data panel I am importing the data from excel and csv and visualizing it. Helps me visualizing the teams/org data and heirarchy between different members using data panel
A well rounded choice for collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
- Primarily the collaboration aspect (e.g. compared to more traditional charting apps)
- Overall it feels like a mature product; smooth performance, intuitive etc.

- I'd love to see some finer grained controls; darkmode, perhaps desktop companion apps
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working in a multinational company, within a team of solutions architects; collaborative systems diagrams are super helpful
Collaborative Drawings Among Colleagues
What do you like best about the product?
The online ability to generate, share, and collaborate on drawings.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of the ability to cut and paste a drawing from Lucid Charts into PowerPoint as an editable diagram.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The collaborative generatation of diagrams with colleagues. Keeping copies available online, and organized in folders. Also are able to share diagrams with groups.
good tool to do demo and for designing systems
What do you like best about the product?
pretty exhaustive list of already available tool and shapes , no hassle in drawing system diagrams as compared to other tool
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom in Zoom out is bit diffcult , I am using magic mouse and everytime I have to zoom I have to press cmd key on my keyboard .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives us to place to draw and brainstrorm ideas and collaborate for a system , during meeting multiple people can collaborate .
Great creation tool with a LOT of options
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid is a great way for creating assets that are interactive with team members. Each can add their own thoughts, additions to your board, etc. which makes for a fun experience and discussion.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a LOT of creation options, so make sure you watch their demos and step-by-step instructions so you don't get lost. Copy/cut/paste is not quite the same shortcuts in Lucid as it would be in another platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My organization uses Google docs for everything, and Lucis is a similar concept in that everyone can come in and collaborate on a singular document. Lucid promotes an interactive learning environment and is eye appealing unlike putting together a list of notes or ideas. Something as simple as the sticky notes in Lucid is extremely helpful and different from putting just text in bullets.
A great experience of collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid Visual Collaboration has been a great experience and has helped further collaboration amongst my team so we can work asynchronously and complete projects efficiently!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I can think of right now actually!

Not being able to collaborate in person, now we can collaborate more efficiently.
Facinating
What do you like best about the product?
Pre-built templates and suggetion options that provides addional tips for improving the flow diagrams
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI controls - esp when trying to adjust an arrow from abox, it creates a new arrow. As a user, eps for first time users this is a challenge as I have delete and select the arrow and edit it. Also when I add swimlates after the process flow, it took a wile to understand it auto snaps the process flows to swimlanes and moving boxes around was a challenge.

Lucid for Financial Advisor
What do you like best about the product?
We are researching ways to display key metrics and other ways to utilize Lucid to complement our industry-specific software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its a little tedious and hard to learn the tools at first. One you have it down its fine but its not as intuitive as other programs. I am a designer, so most of my software is design software, which could account for the difficulty.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At the moment Mind mapping and showing clearity of where accounts will go. We are also exploring linking with google sheets for building charts on how clients portfolios are split up.
Lucid in comparison to other flowchart tools
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to manage shapes and work with different people at the same time

Its UI UX is very straightforward and easy to use

It makes a viewing the big architecture clearer and more coherent across the teams and update in a timely manner as needed
Fantastic Project Planning Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to link assets on the Lucid Chart to underlying data is fantastic. This allowed multiple people to contribute ideas. It also sped up the updating of ideas after review. I also appreciated the fact that

I liked the fact I was able to publish and allow people to view and access the page. Adding comments for review.
I found that I used Lucid more as I was able to quickly access and update data, the speed of the page and responsiveness made it super easy to iterate ideas

What do you dislike about the product?
Adding more featuers to anchor data. I'd appreciate the ability to link date fields to backend data, that way if the date changed in the Google Sheet I was using the boxes on the page would also move.
More assistance on templates, I first tried to load templates and use those, but found they were more useful for learning then leveraging.

The ability to link back end data. The scope to have an open page that scales to the length of the task, versus being confined to a small space. Open-endedness of the platform.
