A white-boarding tool is a must as a remote designer.
What do you like best about the product?
I use Lucid mostly to gather quick notes or thoughts and later on organize them in a visual way that makes sense for me and for others to understand. A collaboration tool like Lucid is also a must have during workshops where you need stakeholders to participate and put down ideas in a flexible manner. As a designer, it is also ideal for mapping out things like user flows and site maps. It is basically a digital whiteboard with endless sticky notes that you do not have to clean to start again!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I would benefit from it working offline. It currently only works with an internet connection and from the browser.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When in the office, you can meet up around and brainstorm or explain things with the aid of visuals in a whiteboard. When working remotely, the digital whiteboard fulfills that need with some extra benefits like being able to save whiteboard and not erease them.
A powerful, collaboration tool for creating impactful visuals
What do you like best about the product?
Users can concurrently work together to create and maintain diagrams in a suite that has little to no footprint, through a browser without the hassle of installing a local application.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occassionally the browser session looses connectivity to the cloud platform and your recent changes can't be saved. You need to get creative and start a second browser session and then copy your changes to it from the first session.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides a single suite of tools that can be leveraged to solve most diagramming requirements across the enterprise.
Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Online diagramming software Lucidchart is easy to use, has exceptional collaborative features, and offers plenty of templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike. But it does not give an option to add the multilevel sub tree
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps share the diagrams, org charts and collaborate with the team.
Easy to diagram and integrate with Confluence
What do you like best about the product?
The Collaboration Suite makes it easy to create block diagrams in teams and integrate within Confluence. Changes can be reflected immediately within the wiki documentation so that everything stays up-to-date. There is no need to export diagrams from Lucid and import to a 3rd party platform.
The Collaboration Suite allows all diagrams to be housed in a single location within Lucid, such that changes can be made directly within Lucid by anyone with access to the diagrams. This makes it much easier to collaborate between users, and not require to always navigate back to the originating Wiki page to edit the diagrams.
Whiteboards allow quick and easy brainstorming and provide a way to quickly segue into block diagrams.

What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest issue with the Collaboration Suite are within the diagramming tools themselves. Having used PlantUML extensively in the past years to produce Sequence Diagrams, using the limited syntax available in Lucid make it significantly more difficult to create diagrams.
From a collaborative perspective, it might be easier for teammates to contribute while the sequence diagram is under development, however, the downsides of having to draw out every single line manually far outweighs the benefits.

Using Lucid Chart
What do you like best about the product?
What was the best about Luicd chart it is literally Luicd to use and there a ton of options and features you can include while creating your flowchart. It is very easy to implement things throughout your flowchart. It also very easy to integrate more concepts in it. People in the office were impressed and wanted to learn how to use it as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Something I did dislike about flowchart was trying to print it. The reason being it does not translate to a PDF or other forms of documentation very easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The only problem that needs to be solved is the printing difficulties.

Great tool, but lacks customization
What do you like best about the product?
I have mostly only used Lucid's templates within their Visual Collaboration Suite rather than building new visuals from scratch. The templates are very beneficial and convenient. They save me a lot of time when I need to create a timeline or project plan, as all the shapes are mostly pre-populated and when I make changes to any specific task, they are automatically reflected on the visual timeline. It definitely streamlines my work. Lucis templates are very useful when we're brainstorming as a team, creating presentations, or organizing data.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Lucid does offer many templates that just make my life easier, and have greatly improved my productivity, one thing that could be improved is customization. These templates are very powerful, and already provide a good foundation with pre-populated boxes and frameworks, but they lack flexibility. Some things can't be adjusted, like the font size or placement of certain text boxes or items, among other design elements. This limits what I can do with some of the visuals, like using them on presentations since the text is too small and not readable, and many times clients don't have access to the platform. I usually have to turn to other visualization tools, or even recreate them manually. If Lucid had 100% customizable templates, it would be on another level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite helps me by reducing the time spent on creating visuals by offering a wide variety of templates. It takes out of the equation the tedious process of having to think about how to make a process flow, diagram, timeline, etc, visually appealing and organized. It helps me stay organized as well. Another big benefit is the collaboration aspect with my teammates and clients, which helps streamline this process and gives everyone visibility into the projects.
Streamlined Collaboration and Diagramming
What do you like best about the product?
I used Lucid just recently and wonderered why I hadnt used it all this time. It stands out as a commendable solution for streamlined teamwork and efficient diagram creation. Its simple interface and range of icons helped the process of crafting diagrams and customized the diagrams to suit various project needs.
Export feature of choosing a custom area in the export is a great feature too.

What do you dislike about the product?
I havent come across a painpoint or a challenge yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Journey Mapping in a collaborative manner with well designed icons and templates, is the main benefit to me at this time. The team included 3 people working on the same doc at the same time, without any performance issues which helped the team work remotely and get the job done.
