Dear Lucid, where have you been all my life?
What do you like best about the product?
I've found the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to be extremely beneficial during my team brainstorming sessions. All ideas can be simoustanly captured by each team member as the discussion continues to unfold. The templates are amazing to help get you started with using the tool. I absolutely love the visual management elements that are built into this tool like all the different colors, shapes, and text. This aspect really enhances the efficiency of developing workflows and has brought many ideas to life within my team! The voting and recording features are super cool tool! The Education Center is fantastic for new users to learn about tips and tricks. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tool to professionals in any industry!
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I haven't discovered any dislikes so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is helping my team idenitfy opportunities for improvement within our current troubleshooting methods for onboarding drivers. I am also using it to deep dive our current metrics and develop a human error root cause analysis methodology. This will allow for my team to correlate metrics to specific L&D root causes and generate projects that will tie directly to company ROI. I am also exploring using this tool for skill mapping of current roles we're looking to develop within Operations.
Handy All Necessities at one Place
What do you like best about the product?
Drag drop option, varities of boxes and shapes
What do you dislike about the product?
Could not find an option to jump line when there are many intersecting lines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped me understand the HLDs and distinguish between different components with ease.
The diagram tool you never knew that you needed!
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use, the UX/UI, the ability to share and collaborate. Additionally the number of features and integrations avaialble.
What do you dislike about the product?
That if it's inside your organization you cannot easily share it externally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily it is a diagramming tool for me, that gives me the ability to architect, do customer mapping and roadmapping.
Lucid is very easy to use and love all the different ways I can create something.
What do you like best about the product?
The puside to using Lucid Visual Collaboration is that anyone that I share with what I created can go in and find what they are looking for with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found any downside to Lucid Visula Collabortion Suite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid has allowed me to create a map shoing in detail along with an attached summary of the information needed.
Great experience, easy to learn, fantastic templates
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and intuitive experience. The fact that I was able to download templates from Salesforce Architects and start using them immediately for business was a real winner.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've been using this product for about a month and haven't experienced anything that I disliked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to make an overall business feature chart using Salesforce Architect templates in order to clearly communicate the current state of the business to the C-level.
Refreshingly Enjoyable and Easy
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoyed using the Action/Hotspot feature to isolate the diagram from its more complicated representation of the entire layout. For example, I separated the network cables out into their own layer from the storage cables, and when the network team wanted to understand what was hooking up to their main switches, it was much easier to remove other cabling but keeping it all in one diagram vs copying and pasting 4 different layouts of the same equipment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially I think I struggled the most with doing advanced things where I had to go research how to accomplish things like creating connections between ports where cables weren't quite fitting on them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Replacement for Visio, as well as a programming project where we had to create an AI, and we soon realized it was too abstract and needed to put it into something easier to consume with our steps our program would go through, decision trees, process flow, and we attempted to use LucidSpark for the first time in creating this complicated flow and we were pleasantly surprised with the ease of use and functionality already present in the platform. To quote a German programmer "I'm having fun!" Which is very uncharacteristic of him as he normally was very even-keeled and hardly showed emotion. That was the largest endorsement I could have imagined from him.
Great Product - Very Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to create a process/SOP in a visual aspect has been very helpful for documenting processes and procedures within the IT Department. Everyone learns differently, and this tool has been helpful for ensuring a document is in place for the visual learners.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once you understand how to use the program, it is very easy. But one downside is that the learning process takes times. There is a lot to this program, and it can be a bit overwhelming. Thankfully the process has help exactly for this reason.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The department lacked documentation for Support processes. Lucid is helping to ensure the process and documentation is there for all kinds of learners. The program is helping to fill in the gaps that were previously missing.
Great collaborative software

I like that i can share with a client a link and we can collaborate

nothing yet I really enjoy all the features
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
when i have a client with a process i like to document on lucid chart so that we both understand the current state and use the process flow to map out the future state
Visual Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is fully customizable with the shapes and options of lines. I currently like that I can make a work flow out of it that allows me freedom to be flexible. Overall, it is a good product and adding it as a collaborative tool is valuable as well if I were using it for that purpose.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that I can't just simply add in a hyperlink, it gives a visual of a button but when sharing this with others, that can cause confusion. I prefer if there was more of an optional feature with this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everything is in one place where I can edit it at anytime and that it is cloud saved so I never lose my work. This allows me to create a workflow that is visually appealing for people who aren't so tech savvy.
