A versatile tool that meets my conceptualizing needs
What do you like best about the product?
It supports mind-maps, flow-charts, icon/symbol libraries, and easy sharing/collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
No windows/ios/linux app. I understand it's a web app, but sometimes I don't want to work in a browser
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping my team and I to create mind-maps and flow charts that we can easily share between each other. I use to use XMind and collaboration is not easy there.
Easy to create flow diagrams and mind maps
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidspark is very easy to use. The UX is intuitive and easy to understand. Creating mind maps, processes, and value maps is easy as Lucidspark provides a wide range of templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
-Sometimes heavier sheets takes time to load.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was using it for the personal purposes.
LucidChart is amazing for all complexities of work
What do you like best about the product?
I found LucidChart extremely easy to use and I could start creating complicated flowcharts and architecture designs right away. It is intuitive and easy to understand and there are also many great tutorials and online support provided.
What do you dislike about the product?
I struggled sometimes with drawing the lines and the arrow. Also the free version is very limited although that is understandable. Overall though the experience has been great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need to create comprehensive diagrams for architectural design document at Rubrik. This makes it very easy to explain the architecture and the design decisions which I take in my document and is easily shareable.
Great tool for brain storming and daily project overview
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity but its incredible potential. It's a great tool with lots of templates that will help you have a complete overview of your work during the initial phase of your project.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think some of the formattings could be more intuitive. Though I found it easy to start working Lucidspark, it did take me some time to get my head around the fastest way to use different formats for text, for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can have all the information I need for my project in one place, instantly giving me access to all the data I need. That, combined with remote access from any of my devices, makes working from anywhere extremely easy.
Great application for easily mapping journeys and logic routing.
What do you like best about the product?
Love the clean and easy to use user interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can sometimes be a bit complex to do formatting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helpful to map out complex flows for everyone to easily distinguish business processes.
Lucidchart is a versatile tool for teams
What do you like best about the product?
Collaborating real time with colleagues has been fantastic; my team is located in various areas around the country so this allows us to really come together when defining or updating a process or plan.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm new to Lucidchart so I haven't discovered the downsides yet; perhaps requiring a login in order to see the work - I'm not sure how saving work as a PDF goes yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have recently begun defining our processes with user story mapping and Lucidchart provides a very easy and very visual way to brainstorm to create and update processes as they evolve.
Very impressed with the app
What do you like best about the product?
I have used a number of other process diagram apps. Honestly, Lucidspark and Lucidchart have been the easiest to use and I wish that more apps had the same ease of use. From flow arrows being easy to move around, to swim lanes snapping into place where I want them, its an overall great experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
To my knowledge, I work for a corporation that does not have enterprise accounts for employees and a personal account is not permitted in my line of work. It's not really on the app, but I wish that my organization saw this tool as highly as some of the other inferior tools out there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are mapping the clients business processes in order to transform their business into a more up-to-date, digital business. We use these diagrams in workshops to demonstrate both the as-is process and the to-be processes.
So helpful for strategy planning and mapping!
What do you like best about the product?
How everything by bud customizeable yet intuitive. You're not learning a new software, but have really advanced abilities
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd say I do wish things locked into grids a little better, it can be kinda annoying to get things straight
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used this to map out google ads accounts, campaign planning, and even friends birthday parties
Excellent Tool, Easy Lerning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
It visually lays out the complex signal flow data that I'm trying to comprehend. When doing so, it's flexible and easy to make changes on the fly that reflect the way the system was wired up.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides for me! Hundreds of features don't pertain to how I use the systems, but I've never encountered bugs or issues with the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My systems are very complex. Hundreds of cables, dozens of devices, and lucid chart is the perfect tool to take the information from my brain and visually lay it out for my team to see. It also is excellent for catching errors in my planning well before I need to deploy the drawn system.
Awesome application for flowcharts
What do you like best about the product?
It's a great application. I haven't explored it much, but it has met my needs when creating flowcharts for our company. I will continue to update my diagrams. The copy-paste feature between two open charts is excellent, especially since we more or less have the same number of processes. The suggestions after I've pulled out an arrow are also lovely. It saves me the effort of returning to the elements tab and manually choosing a piece to drop at the end of that arrow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. I guess the option to choose a worded arrow and a non-worded arrow would be excellent. I had to pull up a decision diamond and create a yes and no hand to copy and paste onto rectangle decision boxes. It was tiresome, but it worked. A shortcut for that would have been great, though. If there is already a feature for that, I'm unaware of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm mainly involved in training. We have complicated processes that change all the time. Of course, as an organization, we must ensure that our operations do not get overcomplicated. It's hard to track that will process documents that list each step as just 1, 2, and 3. With flowcharts made in lucidchart, there is a visual representation of the flows.
