What do you dislike about the product?
More widgets needed, also import of .vsd files should be seemless
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were working on setting up system architecture with different timezone people, the collabration capability of product is great.
Great diagraming tool but take a while to learn more complex features

Lucid Helps Make Visual Charts Easy with Great Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
What I love about Lucid is how easy it was to start. Navigation is fairly intuitive. I did have to look up how to drag the page around (right click) but other than it is very friendly. Without readying any documentation I was able to create a chart for part of our network that was easy to read and understand.
Another thing about it is that it makes it easy to collaborate. If screen sharing it is easy to zoom so everyone can see what you are looking at. Zooming in also make it easy to read and doesn't pixelate like a picture would. If you share the chart with another teamate and they open the chart they can see your cursor so you don't even need to screen share to point stuff out to them. This is really great since screen sharing doesn't always work for various reasons.
It allows importing/exporting files from/to Microsoft Visio, which makes it really easy to integrate and implement.

What do you dislike about the product?
The draw backs are:
users coming from Microsoft Visio prefer Visio over learning a new system
There doesn't seem to be a way to create offline and while you can export there is no native export format. This leaves working offline or when Lucid is down hard to if not impossible. I was able to export the chart to PDF but it didn't allow me to export all the layers on a single page.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It made it very easy to create a document to show how our test network is setup and how it works.
Lucid simplified visual collab to a new level
What do you like best about the product?
What I love most about the Lucid is how it brings people together. Its user friendly interface makes it very easy for anyone to jump in and start creating diagrams/projects. The tools let me create exactly what I want to creat(or have in my brain) Also the diagramming tools allow for creative ideas, brainstorming and planning much more easier and fruitful. Overall, it's a great tool for making teamwork productive!
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don't like about the Lucid is that it can get a bit pricey, especially for smaller teams or individuals who just need the basics. Also some features are a bit extra complex.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, Lucid has mainly helped me tackle teamwork and visual collab issues. It offer great tools for diagams, and mind maps. I can see what other contributed, comment or even make edits to them. Its definetly a game changer.
Easy visualization of ideas and processes
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid is made with rules so that flowcharts automatically branch and behave the way you need them to--making it so you don't have to spend as much time worrying about formatting. You can use conditional formatting on your shapes to keep your style consistent and data clear. And if you need inspiration to get started, they have tons of templates to start with and modify as you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that you could share links to your work that were viewable to people not logged into Lucid. It would make sharing live work easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mainly use Lucid for process flow charts--from procedures to how different programs should talk to each other.
Nice and Simple
What do you like best about the product?
I primarily use Lucid to make mind maps. For this, it's very easy to use, and editing / moving things around when adding new bits if information is really hassle free compared to similar products I have tried.
What do you dislike about the product?
When a project gets large, it would be helpful to have options to edit large chunks of it simultaneously (e.g. change all links to certain sections to a certain colour. As it stands you have to manually select individual components with shift + c, which can take a while, then the hotbar can sometimes cover the parts you're trying to select.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Similar apps are a lot more clunky by comparison. It's very helpful I'm getting research all compiled together in an easy to edit way.
Dynamic Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid is extremely useful to our company in terms of generating detailed org charts. We can build different visuals, flowcharts and format things quite easily. There's an endless number of templates to use and you can further customize anything and everything. I know I have yet to unlock much of the potential and will continue to use the platform on a monthly basis in the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the Lucid platform is mostly intuitive, I wish there was a way to quickly search up certain features that I'm not as familiar with. I also wish tehere was a way to format all content instantaneously, as I find myself trying to apply changes in sections.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We do not have a way to capture our ever growing team in a consistent way that shows who holds what role across the company. This is the only solution that has worked for us so far.
Lucid betterment
What do you like best about the product?
It is fast, renders diagram fast very efficient to create flow diagram
What do you dislike about the product?
Ai integration for filling up details about a topic and that should be behind a flag so that we can use on case by case method
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is essential to tell my team what are the key focus area and where we should invest our time and it is
Lucid charts
What do you like best about the product?
It's user friendly interface, the ability to work together with teams despite of location are the best things I like. And the best thing I personally like is lucid charts which I have used in my projects to create diagrams and shapes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limited number of objects, shape and tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart and other suites provides a visual way in team collaboration, communication, and project management remotely and reduces the chance of miscommunication. It benefitted me in my team projects as we were able to make diagrams and flowcharts using it.
Lucid rocks
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid makes visual collaboration easy and flexible. In the age of remote work, using a physical whiteboard isn't really an option anymore (and back when it was, taking pictures of whiteboards and/or typing up the contents was annoying anyway.) Lucid is so much better.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is a small complaint, but I wish Lucid had more options for brand styles and fonts. Overall, it's not going to make me stop using it but it would be super slick to be able to set formatting defaults and whip up shareable whiteboards and diagrams that were already brand-compliant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work on a lot of projects where collaborative brainstorming and planning is required. Having a Zoom meeting where people just go around in circles talking is really wasteful and often skews toward the louder voices in the meeting, drowning out better ideas from quieter participants. Using sticky note brainstorming, impact/effort matrices and visual meeting agendas solves this problem because ever participant can look at the same visual aid (the Lucid Spark board). It helps us "read from the same piece of music" and makes brainstorming more effective and helps us get through our meeting agendas efficiently.
