I needed a detailed workflow process chart
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart offers a very intuitive interface. It's inline help, and extensive documentation saves time. Sharing features are immensely useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful would be the requirement that a guest user, collaborating in real-time, register for a free acct.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart is helping my consulting firm to clarify businesses processes and translate those processes to functional requirements, Our business performance has increased.
Start with Lucid if you want to draw charts
What do you like best about the product?
So far I have only used it (Lucid) for drawing and editing flow charts and I have to say Lucidchard is the best chart drawing app I have used in 20 years. Yes ok I mostly used openspurce or freeware but even of the paid ones it tops them all.
I paid for and tried to download MSV but it was such a poor user experience ending in failure.
Using the Lucidchard app first time was a breeze and it opened the visio files I needed to edit for work with no trouble at all. I will be sticking to Lucid for a long time, I'm sure!

What do you dislike about the product?
The only feature I missed was being able to edit the fill colour and transparency of bubbles/shapes.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Opening visio desktop files to edit. And being able to quickly draw up charts.
Really great for visual planning

The visuals and flexibility to see everything and move things around is awesome. It also helps me with categories for planning that I may not have thought of.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much, I really haven't found anything I don't like.

It's helped me know what I should be planning and includes categories that hadn't come to mind.

Collaborative and easy to use for any kind of diagram.

Connectors can be tricky at times; payment is bit more.

LucidChart works great for mapping out processes!
What do you like best about the product?
It's incredibly flexible. We use it to map out client processes and diagramming how different systems interact with each other. It makes "speaking the same language" much easier when communicating workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Account organization can be complex. Our account has sometimes grown unwieldy and requires precise organization to find things quickly and stay organized.

Effectively communicating processes. We are constantly working to effectively communicate with out clients, and LucidChart helps us do this!

What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is straightforward, and I can tell this company invested in market research and user experience. This tool is perfect for workshops, flow diagraming, and Program Increment Planning
What do you dislike about the product?
The one area of opportunity that I would provide is that I want more integrations with other tools that I use, such as Jira. If the company could develop a easy to Jira integration, that would make this experience even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem that this is solving is having a central tool for Program Increment Planning in Scaled Agile. This tool makes it easy to make a Program board and to have breakout rooms for each scrum team in the document but in different tabs.
Anyone can design his/her creation with a positive approach to explain any idea.
What do you like best about the product?
It has many options to correlate the steps to be followed in the hierarchy of a new idea, to sum up with their expected methodology and outcomes in any research.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lucid spark requires full graphics to be adjusted of it's charts while exporting into any format to represent the actual size, font, and color. It looks very tiny and blurred in view until zooming in to read.

I was trying to get a better understanding of an idea in research to be effective in the industry. It was a very powerful tool for developing a promising flowchart approach with a different perspective.

- not all functions are clear when you start using the system

Easy to use service
What do you like best about the product?
I'm an attorney and I used Lucidchart to create a one-off org chart for a client, so it's not something I would use regularly, but I found it very easy to use compared to everything else I tried. If I were to need to create org charts often, I would pay for the service. I appreciated the integration with google sheets and the design templates. Overall, it was a quick tool to pick up.
What do you dislike about the product?
I felt like some of the tools were not very intuitive. Once I figured out where things were, it was easy, but there was some initial frustration. I also had an issue with tiers not collapsing on my org chart that was very frustrating and didn't resolve. I just started over on a new chart.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed to create an org chart for an organization but just show one vertical of the organization. I was able to do this on Lucidchart which was important to me because I needed to emphasize this vertical but still show the overall structure of the company and number of reports under the top tier.
Being used other collaboration tools, it was pretty intuitive.
What do you like best about the product?
I liked how facilitative it was for brainstorming. Simple features such as double clicking to add a post-it were super useful in saving time. Having pre-designed templates was super useful as well. Collaboration was pretty smooth as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an easier way to edit templates. For example, I wish I could easily create a flow without using separate arrows and text boxes. I also wish I could add collaborators without them having to create an account. A quick link maybe?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I believe, its addressing specific problems of enterprise-level collaboration in a remote setting. Also, it works well with other enterprise tools such as zoom, jira which is pretty convenient.
